Farming Simulator 15 earns a strong recommendation for both series fans and farming enthusiasts.

Yearly update to the Farming Simulator offers the best digital farming experience available. Grinding money will keep you occupied for a while, but eventually you want something more. If only the game had a story and GTA-ish approach to game design, they would make this game series an instant cult classic. [Jan 2015]

Farming Simulator 15 is the best agricultural simulation on the market, with some flaws that prevent it to excel.

Because of its realistic approach, Farming Simulator 2015 is a good simulator. It is particularly fun to do the reaping together with somebody else. Thanks to the new engine, the farming looks a lot better than before. Too bad the hiring of workers and the added wood chop options are so lousy.

Again, Farming Simulator 15 is an excellent sim that offers a lot of content at a pretty high quality. The makers do need to step it up a bit when it comes to certain elements.

Farming Simulator requires a decent bit of commitment before it becomes enjoyable, but building a profitable farm comes with a unique satisfaction that might tickle your fancy in a way no other game does.

The new engine and the new foresting gameplay elements fit well into the classic farming setting of the series. The farming features are tweaked a little, but overall it feels just the same like in Farming Simulator 13, but technically enhanced. The Day-One Patch fixed some bugs, but still existing physical-problems and gameplay issues in version 1.1, especially in multiplayer mode, have to be handled with forthcoming patches.

Farming Simulator 15 is a well-engineered simulator and farm management game with a much broader appeal than what the setting might suggest. The level of detail of the machines is impressive, and it’s a joy to explore and control all the different machines and equipment available in this slow-paced game.

Farming Simulator 15 is not for everyone but if you enjoyed farming simulators than you've come to the right place!

For all its flaws, Farming Simulator 2015 is the latest, best entry in an exceedingly niche genre, a reasonable improvement on the last entry, and perhaps a change of scenery if you’re sick of the sight of alien spaceships and chest-high walls.

The main problem with this 2015 edition is the almost complete lack of anything new, from vehicles to locations. If you've never played the game, this might still be a good starting point, but you'd probably better stick with the 2013 edition, the most complete to date.

Overall, the new Farming Simulator could have been so much better. On our wish list for a next installment are a reasonable campaign to improve accessibility and ... a radio. It is time that we hear more than just the loud tractor hum, but also the country radio.

An exercise in tedium, Farming Simulator 15 has a very laudable compromise with the recreation of agriculture, but its problematic progression, poor presentation and general dullness detract from its genuine potential as the best simulator on the subject.

Farming Simulator 15 has some improvements, lots of things remain unchanged, and some are even worse than before. Woodcutting and prettier graphics are welcome additions but a ton of simple programming mistakes and a comical driving model cast a shadow on all the good things. As usual - the game is uneven and many parts of the gameplay need to be fixed. Still, fans should be pleased.

Solid but boring simulation based on a decent visual foundation.

Achieving success in Farming Simulator 15 comes down to repeating a couple of actions mindlessly and pertinaciously. [13/2014, p.53]

The tractors look great, but the rest of Farming Simulator 15 comes off like shovelware from 2012.

It’s not difficult to see why people would seek a more relaxing game after having their senses barraged with endless gun-toting violence, but this game doesn’t offer the video game equivalent of a week spent dozing in a hammock on an Aruban beach; it’s an exhaustingly dull weekend in the Scandinavian countryside with only chickens and low-poly civilians for company.

Such a great farmingHave been playing this for 30hrs+ and its my 1st forray at any type of farming simulator and I cant put it down. Such a great farming experience, as a non-farmer I dont know how realistic a simulator it is but it feels very immersive. I did try to get into FS2013 years ago but I couldnt, but FS2015 is more user freindly and pleasing the the eye. My only gripe is that its too easy to get rich quick with forestry even on hard level, it would have got a full 10 out of 10 otherwise. Full Review »

I love this game because there is a general lack of hormone filled children who all want to get the best k/d ratio in the world. All of theI love this game because there is a general lack of hormone filled children who all want to get the best k/d ratio in the world. All of the negatives are right, but then... not all games are shooting for exact realism. Especially when you consider fs15's price point. This game is way less disappointing than Watch_Dogs, and many other huge titles from studios with hundreds of millions of dollars to pour into a game. It isn't supposed to be a graphical masterpiece. It isn't supposed to be a showcase for advanced cutting edge AI. It's supposed to be a game where you build communities who are interested in mid sized farming operations. This is a modder's playground. Not many companies are willing to open their games up, and support the modding community the way FS15 has done. Allowing modders to tow the line with respect to most of the aspects of the game... is kind of the point. I always loved games where you had a hand in actually improving, or advancing the game somehow. Plus, the developers actually DO listen to the community. If you don't want that experience; a perfectly rounded cutting edge title, then this game isn't for you. Full Review »
