    It's really upsetting to see a change from Farcry's original gameplay. This game plays more like an RPG such as Cyber punk. When I shoot an unarmoured person in the head I expect them to Die. This is a real big shame as I was interested in playing within a Faux Cuban setting. I've already cancelled my Uplay subscription as I won't be continuing with this any more .     Con esta entrega, Far Cry es ya otra saga muerta de ubisoft que se suma a Watchs Dogs, Tom Clancys y dentro de poco Assassins Creed. Desde el 4 todos los títulos nuevos han sido peor que el anterior pero con este se han pasado. Puntos negativos: -DirectX 12 obligatorio cuando el juego está usando un motor gráfico de 2008.    No merece la pena ni el tiempo que tardas en piratearlo.

    -Gráficos lamentables en relación con su rendimiento. A mí no me molestan los gráficos “anticuados”, es más para mi far cry 3 se sigue viendo perfectamente a día de hoy, pero con lo mal que va el juego tendría que tener mínimo los gráficos de Battlefield 5.

    -No hay doblaje al castellano y el juego ha salido a precio completo. No me parece mal que el juego no se doble a todos los idiomas mientras eso suponga que el juego salga a precio reducido.

    -Solo disponible en Uplay y su basura de DRM causa crashes aleatorios.

    Will definitely stop pre-buying games, been this year screwed with Cyberpunk and FC6.
    Becomes too expensive to trust these supposed to be Blockbusters games.

    There has been a huge decline in the quality of games and it's not all because of the Pandemic. This is even worse than AC Valhalla. Also there's a mission where you find veggies for a vegan. I think we just need to start our own game studio since these big companies can't make good games anymore

    Stale, awful AI and bug ridden. AI is horrendous and sometimes, the missions rely on their driving which is abysmal too.

    A ridiculous choice in my opinion, one dictated maybe from a business point of view but at the same time cannot be justified to the italian paying public. Especially since they use various details ingame with italian roots and then disrespecting those with not even the acknowledgment of the average italian user/player for this game. Make at least an adjustment on the price for the italian market with a lower cost, but nothing... This is absurd, a shame and also totally embarassing from a company of such big caliber.
    For the other stuff I'm also of the same opinion with the majority I have to say...
    Regarding innovation... It looks like the same system/mechanics of all the Far Crys. Small/few changes here and there, graphic details maybe better (only because of the times, not in par with the level they should actually be, see the download of the HD Texture pack) characters boring, over-eccentric and not so funny anymore humor. If it was the first Far Cry game, it would be a pretty fun game, but they are just living from their past successes and propose again and again with different contexts/stories the stuff once again. Landscapes are not even that great, I was happy to see again an environment similar to the one for Far Cry 3 (my favourite game of the series), but I was disappointed also on that unfortunately. It is not satisfying for the shooting, bullets feeling is really bad and the AI level looks even more idiotic than in the past (how?). Fillers with too many time consuming side missions, a prerogative of Ubisoft games totally makes it worse, instead made for appreciating even more the game.
    Regarding the story instead, it's good, not that innovative, famous people involved, acting good, but nothing worth it for the price. There was the possibility to choose the protagonist at the beginning Male/female, now a must and that's a plus for the actual times. As long as it doesn't feel forced on the narrative like almost usually is unfortunately. Nothing else comes to mind right now, but yeah. There are some bugs, but nothing major. The review is anyway not positive. Not worth buying it at this price or any other price and that's a shame. I was hyped and expecting something good. I was rooting for it, but I have to be honest and this is my opinion.

    P.S. I know that everyone recognize the song for the "Burning" mission (ripetitive concept copied form FC3, also in a bad way, btw) as the one from the netflix show, but it is actually taken from the historically famous italian partizan song. An other reference from the Italian people, rewarded without the audio translated in their language though.    … Expand

    All guns, gear, loot, and leveling up from side missions and exploring is useless hence boring. I finished in 41 hours, 98% headshots all with same silenced rifle from start of the game. Cyberpunk had issues, but what it did right was require leveling up and exploring to acquire significantly better gear and guns to combat tougher enemies, which made side missions, exploring, and gameAll guns, gear, loot, and leveling up from side missions and exploring is useless hence boring. Far Cry 6 is a step down from Far Cry 5, somehow they managed to make it worse than previous installments, the game has no charm apart from maybe Anton Castillo and maybe Diego, you barely interact with them anyway, so that isn't really enough to make this game good.
    The prologue is soooo good, I wish they made the whole game have the same feeling. You start with your friend Lita and Alejo (who get's shot after about two lines of dialogue), and you have to make your escape from Esperanza, this part of the game was so fun, you would feel terified, there was nothing you could do but run and hide through the sewers of the city. Esperanza feels like a vibrant city, full of culture and memorable people, only to be bullied by Castillo's military force. However, the feeling is gone once you finish the prologue, because Esperanza is literally empty in game except for scripted events, there's like two missions which send you to esperanza, and it's completely empty, the one where you storm Castillo's speech at the hotel, and the final mission, the only people you see other than those two missions are military, which of course are hostile towards Dani.
    Soon after the prologue, you meet Carla, which is a somewhat well written character, you can feel attached to her and her cause, only because she's on screen for 5 minutes for the whole game, yeah. You see her at the start, before departing to "unite" all the guerilla factions in Yara, and she only shows up once you convinced all the factions to join Libertad. She is there for a few cutscenes, nothing more, her story is somewhat tragic, but we don't interact with her enough to feel sad or anything, I just felt dissapointed when her story tragically ended.
    After meeting Clara, you meet Juan, which the writers tried to make the funny guy, however he didn't really strike me as much, sometimes he's funny, sometimes he's just annoying, however that's probably just my opinion, one of my friends likes him, so there's that. He's memorable, probably the second or third most memorable character in this game.
    The story slowly advances as you "free" more of Yara, by free I mean you take out checkpoints and 20 FND outposts, they are the same as outposts in older games. The only reason you would go out of your way to clear the checkpoints is to deal with the road spikes, because, once you free them, the military presence in the area remains the same, some even use the checkpoint you just liberated, that has blue flags with "Libertad" written all over them, this shouldn't be a surprise, seeing as the AI in Far Cry has always been horrible, there's also random events with AI but they are really dumb, like, there's a car that's broken down on the side of the road with a couple bystanders, you can get 20 Yaran Pesos if you repair it for them, however, once you aproach them with your car the NPCs will get scared and run, even if you drive slow.
    There are 3 (or maybe 4 if you want to count them like that) factions that will join Libertad, Monteros, Maximas Matanzas, Legends of '67 and La moral which share the same territory and join at the same time so you don't really have to go out of your way to make them join. Now, I fell as all of them ar well written, except for some characters, except for the Monteros, they have their good points in the story, but there's a mission when you're supposed to kill Jose Castillo (Anton's nephew) and, he wants to hang Alejandro Montero for whatever reason, I guess he just woke up and decided to do that, he was a scientist for them before but I guess he is getting hanged now, and at his hanging, his father rides on a horse, and cuts his noose with a machete, and he notices that Alejandro has a C4 strapped to his hands, and he then proceeds to cut the C4 loose from him, throw Alejandro of the horse, and ride away with the C4 and "die heroically". Like... what? It would've been easier to just throw the C4 away. They just wanted to create some drama I guess. Maximas Matanzas are pretty well written and I like Paulo and Paz, Talia is a little crazy but she's still a great character, you also meet Bembe, which is a good character, a little crazy, but he makes sense at times. Same goes with the Legends of '67, and the death of El Tigre and Jonron actually felt sad.
    But the ending was the biggest letdown of the whole game, you find out from Juan that Carla has accepted to meet with Castillo, he told her the war was over, he was dying of Leukemia, and that there's no more reason for war. You and Juan have to storm Isla de Leon, Castillo's Private Island to have a chat with him. You sit down with them at the table, some forgettable dialogue, and then Juan wants to shoot Diego, you save him, and Anton kills Carla. Big sad. I guess, you then storm Esperanza with Libertad and all the friends you made along the way, but you don't get to kill Castillo, as he kills Diego and then kills himself. Really dissapointing that Giancarlo Esposito played in such a story.    … Expand

    Underwhelming, don't buy until it hits 90% discount. It mostly seems the developers hit a writers block after creating the characters and didn't create a story as well written and composed as Fc5.
    Another problem is that you literally can't see the game because of the dense jungle, by comparison a desert would've given you a better sense of exploration.

    Good game but it manages to totally crash both my PC s . They are both i7 10th generation and i have an RTX 2060 on one and RTX 3070 on the other . Also it is outrageous that Ubisoft asks you to renounce your right the ask a refund for the game if you download it .

As for the game, on the whole the gameplay is pretty decent but the amount of woke rubbish is so annoying. Every strong character you meet is a woman. Every tank driver is a woman. I'm all for women in games but when it's done like this it just feels false.     It's like they took everything I loved about Far Cry 5 and removed it. They literally took all the creativity of customizing your character and made it so where you have to wear something you wouldn't even choose to wear in order to obtain an ability? That is just ridiculous. AI enemy appeares through the door. They stop 1 meter away from each other and look. She points a gun to his head. He points AK47 to her head. Both shoot. Blood everywhere. She goes    Installed.

    По началу я старался не обращать внимания на музыку, это же вкусовщина и всё такое. Но уже через 10-12 часов игры она просто начинает выбешивать своей навязчивостью и однообразием. Даже при том условии, что я    Купил, чтобы пройти на 100% за отпуск, но через силу добил сюжет и удалил
    Начнём с NPC - по уровню развития можно сравнить со второй CoD (даже в первой Halo были намного разумнее)
    По началу я старался не обращать внимания на музыку, это же вкусовщина и всё такое. Но уже через 10-12 часов игры она просто начинает выбешивать своей навязчивостью и однообразием. Даже при том условии, что я выключил её в настройках, она всё равно играет в миссиях и моментами на фоне
    Квесты максимально однообразны и в 80% случаев вам предстоит перестрелять какое-то кол-во охранников и украсть/уничтожить какой-то объект. Но тут и всплывает проблема тупых NPC - по стелсу, который постоянно навязывает разработчик, проходить скучно, а в открытую слишком просто даже на втором уровне сложности (их тут кстати всего два. Сюда же приписываю и сюжетные квесты - они настолько же слабо проработаны, иногда даже разницы не замечаешь между побочкой и мэйн квестами
    И тут мы приходим к сюжету. Скажу честно, я нейтрально относился к всякого рода меньшинствам. В общем соблюдал солидарность. Но вашу мать, эта нарочитая повестка настолько беспринципно проталкивается играми и прочим медиа в мою повседневность, в которой она нафиг не сдалась, что у меня заканчивается терпение. И ладно ещё, если бы этих персонажей с повесткой головного мозга было всего пара-тройка, но они составляют буквально 60-70% твоих союзников, а оставшиеся 30% жестко ими критикуются без всякой на то причины внутри контекста самой игры. И пускай их было бы столь много с хорошей проработкой, но нет, они существуют внутри игры буквально ради провокации. Вы не встретите здесь персонажей с сильным бэком, понятной мотивацией или сильными и подкованными убеждениями. Никто из них не вызывает чувства уважения за время игры, а банда школьников вообще смотрятся максимально нелепо. Из-за всех этих моментов в сюжет просто не верится, особенно когда смотришь на главного "злодея" истории, который выполнен на удивление добротно, чего не скажешь об его приспешниках, которых можно охарактеризовать только "фриками" как и собственных союзников за редким исключением.
    Теперь к визуалу - многие анимации остались ещё с третьей части, что выглядит уже скорее кринжово. В целом такое ощущение, будто графика не улучшалась с момента выхода четвёртой части. Есть красивые пейзажи, но только ради них в игре не особо хочется задерживаться. Размеры карты пошли только в минус, так как тут и без того хватает затягивающих (в плохом смысле) факторов помимо неё
    В общем из-за всех этих моментов я не могу порекомендовать эту игру как фанатам Far Cry, так и новым игрокам - она скучная, а во многих моментах даже раздражает или разочаровывает. Своих денег не стоит, советую дождаться скидок если будет совсем нечем заняться    … Expand

    I understand Far Cry games have a theme, but this series is feeling extremely repetitive. Its like the same exact story, same missions with a different theme and time period. Take out some type of drugs or crop growing in a field, take out outpost and listen to some dialogue along the way

    Never thought I would rate an Ubisoft game so low but this game deserves it. Performance on PC for me wasn’t any issue mostly with the exception of a game crash once in a great while (several hours)
    Running 11900K with a 3090 at 4K max settings without issues. Few collision problems where the companion gets trapped under a vehicle but that’s about it.

    The game itself was cleverly marketed using a brilliant actor to play the main antagonist based on his role in Breaking Bad. He does play an evil character well. Beyond that it was all hype just as Cyberpunk was. Ultimately it only mashes the disappointment that much more with this game.

    This felt like a complete rework of FC5 with different names and ruined with a poor unbelievable storyline. The entire game is nothing more than a left wing SJW/Woke disaster. It’s almost like they designed and wrote this game to cater to the SJW LGBTQ population and completely making every aspect of the game completely out of touch with reality. The revolution is a group of Trans LGBTQ club goers.
    The Army is more female soldiers than male making it that much more unrealistic to top it all off. This is a leftwing feminist, socialist and LGBTQ game start to finish and it really confirms that no company or franchise is safe from the pressures of the woke community. We truly live in strange times and society is becoming so overwhelmed by a minority group that is hellbent on corrupting everything to comply with a lifestyle. Television is ruined by it and now the game industry is fast becoming ruined by it as well.

    This game is a blast. It is fun, the amigos are cool, the action is awesome. It's Far Cry. I don't want it changed up too much, I like the Far Cry loop. If I want to play something different, I'll play a different game.

    Супремо использовал раза 3-4.
    Устраивать операции Los Bandidos непонятно зачем. Ресурсов и так много, апгрейды оружия ничего не стоят. 1-4 часа ожидания реального времени перед операцией, превращают их в "весёлую ферму".

    Совсем не оценил "Сильных, независимых женщин" в роли ВСЕХ командиров повстанцев, серьёзно? Женщина, женщина, женщина, женщина+транс. А если мужик в компашке есть, то он какой-то трус, типа деда на танке или радиоведущего.
    Сценаристы щедро выкашивают ряды повстанцев, особенно жалко Эль Тигре, ведь он был огонь дед.

    Концовка абсолютная гадость, которая показывает что даже без ГГ и революции, всё закончилось бы так же.
    Хуана стоило бы убить.

    Баги:
    Играл в "ubisoft connect", игра вылетела около 10 раз, пару раз отказалась запускаться потому что "Нет соединения с сервером ubisoft".
    Миссии сопровождения постоянно багуются, кто-то может стоять на месте, кто-то застрять. Сопровождаемый может свалить куда-то в сторону потому что там где-то стреляли и ему тоже хочется.
    Скрытно убив АБСОЛЮТНО всех врагов в одной части базы и перейдя в другую часть, в начале спавнятся враги которые находят трупы.
    АМИГО - постоянно где-то теряются, застревают, не атакуют, привлекают ОЧЕНЬ много внимания.

    Бесполезные механики:
    Почему БРОНЕБОЙНЫЕ не наносят урон воздушной технике? Почему я не могу убить пилота ими?
    Одежда.
    Уникальные стволы, кроме 6-зарядного гранатомёта и пистолета который перезаряжает всё твоё оружие, настоящий шлак.
    Почти невозможно убить в тело, зато в голову умирают на раз. 2500 убийств, 2100 в голову. Остальные 400 сделаны мачете, дробовиком, гранатомётом, стационарным пулемётом, танком.
    С вертолёта невозможно стрелять так же как он по тебе, прицел движется на какие-то единицы градусов.
    Уровни-ранги, появляется лишь сообщение "У торговцев Хуана появилось новое оружие", что за торговцы и что за оружие? Оружие за бабки можно купить когда построишь казарму или чёто такое на базе повстанцев, либо продолжать захватывать кпп и базы, и всё появится бесплатно.
    МИЛЛОН глушителей - барахло.

    В самом начале нам заявляют что у Кастильо 300.000 солдат, по ощущениям, на острове ВСЕХ жителей должно быть раза в 2-3 меньше чем 300к. Редкие деревни, маленькие поселения с домами в 1-2 этажа. Разве что в главном городе есть хоть какие-то многоэтажки. Но этого всего было бы недостаточно для 300к.

    Русский перевод и озвучка:
    ЗАЧЕМ?! Зачем они сделали включения таких слов как "сольдадос", "кохонес" и т.д. Почему нельзя было перевести всё сразу? Там по сюжету у людей 2 родных языка и типа второй не переводим?    … Expand

    I'm generally OK with the level of padding that Ubisoft put's into a lot of their games but this is too much. Nothing about this game feels refined enough to feel good. The AI is extremely basic and weird, they spawn right behind you all the time. It's like if you took a **** far cry game and mashed it up with a serious sam game, and not in a good way.

    Gameplay was fun and even if i didnt like some of the new mechanics i had a good time doing the missions.
    Couldnt run on max settings on ultra wide at 2k with a 2070 but the graphics are pretty and i had some hickups on lower settings but nothing major. The soundtrack was annoying and you might as well just play despacito on the radio on repeat because i was    Big fan of the series here

    Thats normally the stongest point on every FarCry game... And it started so well... As a Spanish speaker i loved the proper feel of how the conversation went with the expressions, and the voice acting was stellar as usual! big props to the cast!
    I have no idea how the game went form cool well built characters and villain and went to SJW fanfiction on the second half...
    By all means have diversity on your stories im not personally against that but the way it got done it was so messy it looks like a charicature... It felt like you just trying to check all the virtue boxes and it got lost on it... if you try to include everyone it feels forced and out of place.
    A whole area of your game felt like babysitting angry teens... very annoying and lt was the last thing i did on the game before the end and it felt like a bore...
    The ending also *NO SPOILERS was a giant letdown and there was no big decision to be made or even bittersweetnes on the outcome, the story just... died... and the setup was just fantastic at the start i was enjopying meeting everyone and then it slowly turn boring.
    Big hope that the user score make the devs understand that storytelling is paramount and getting involved on woke politics is just boring... or maybe is just me!    … Expand

This game does not even try to capture guerrilla warfare in the slightest, yet constantly tries to remind you of its supposed setting with ridiculous dialogues and woke speeches. Graphically it's a downgrade from Farcry 5, and it truly has some of the most controlling and uncaring characters I've seen in a game that pretends to have a story. It's unfortunate I had only realized how bad this game is the moment I was offered a crappy boat and a passive aggressive advice to sail all the way NA to work in an American Supermarket.     Nieciekawe postacie, mówiące z bezsensownym akcentem i wtrącające pojedyncze słowa w innym języku. Kobiety silne, faceci słabi. Antagonista ujdzie, ale to i tak zmarnowany potencjał.
    Problemy osób LGBT+ poruszane są w głównym wątku fabularnym.
    Jest wybór płci, ale czuć, że gra została stworzona z myślą o żeńskiej bohaterce. Taką grało mi się znacznie lepiej.

    Rozgrywka kuleje. To taki słabszy "Assassin's Creed" z widokiem z oczu i bronią palną.
    Niezbyt przyjemne strzelanie i poruszanie się.
    Często czułem się męcząco ograniczany.
    Chwilowy widok zza pleców w niektórych miejscach, z blokowaniem skakania i strzelania, to pomyłka.
    Dużo powtarzalnych zapychaczy czasu.
    Nie ma save'ów, tylko autosave'y, które zachowują się dziwacznie.

    Bezsensowne i zbędne mechaniki - lepiej się gra po zignorowaniu wielu z nich.
    Nieciekawe odblokowywanie broni, szybko przestały mnie obchodzić.
    Bezsensowne lvlowanie postaci - nie przekłada się na siłę bohatera, to tylko na sztuczne odblokowywanie obszarów.

    Coś jest nie tak z systemem otrzymywania obrażeń i leczenia. Nieprzyjemnie na wyższym poziomie trudności, za łatwo na niższym.

    Nie chce mi się więcej rozwalać tych samych przeciwników, odnawiających się w tych samych miejscach, do których wracam, ponieważ musiałem się cofnąć po zbugowanego towarzysza, który po raz kolejny utknął na kamieniu czy innym drzewie.    … Expand

    Играл в FC4 отлично, FC5 хорошо, а вот в FC6 пройдя 1/3 я игру просто удалил. Тот же самый FC4 я прошел дважды, а вот FC6 не осилил.

    Probably the worst game I've ever played in my life. I just played the game impatiently to finish the game. Some scenes were really good but other than that it was a completely disgraceful experience. If you value any amount of your own time, never play this game.

    I was an enormous fan of Far Cry 5, so I say this with some sadness; Far Cry 6 is just a less fun version of Just Cause. The story is a run of the mill, and it honestly just feels like a chore to play. Not compelling at all.

Apart from the insane hardware requirements, the game has maybe a gazillion of - not bugs - but examples of bad design. A few examples: Clear a base and watch the soldiers respawn after a few minutes completely unaware of the dead bodies around them. Attack soldiers in the field and shouldOne of the worst FC games. Your pet croc (ohh how funny - not!) is supposed to only attack when ordered to however, the soldiers are able to see it, but dont attack it - since you haven't ordered the croc to engage! I could go on and on and on, but 'nuff said... get FC 3, 4 or 5 (they're not exactly good, but way, way, waaaayyy better than this PoS) or play them again, but avoid this disaster of a game!… Expand

    Cheezy and boring generic big studio storytelling. Would like to get into the open world gameplay but failed: Got sick of trying to play stealth combat when every single take down is prolonged grizzly ultraviolence looking like it´s made to please Jeffrey Dahmer.

    The driving is still wonky bad which given that they have had 4 titles to sort it makes no sense. Unless the developers somehow believe it is passable? I don’t like the skill clothes or the stupid rucksack rocket launcher you get.     The weapon modification system has taken a step back - anmmo type is now a mod? Plus we still have the ridiculous weapon damage where a FN Fal does less damage than a rifle firing the same round or even a pistol? I think Ubisoft should focus their attention on writing a better story / tightening up the shooter mechanics / better AI / sort out vehicle controls.    … Expand

    boring gameplay.. much more boring than the previous parts. it was interesting to ride a tank, just kidding, driving on it is madness) It’s not interesting to explore the world, I went through a single and deleted it :(

    Far Cry finally got rid of the most annoying bits (like the infamous towers), but that’s pretty much the extent of the series’ progress. Far Cry 6 doesn’t improve on the core concept in any way. Still, all the expected mechanics work as advertised and keep the game above the line.

    Far Cry 6 is a work that strives for progress while maintaining stability. There are ancestral gameplays of the series that have not been outdated, and some system optimizations and improvements that keep pace with the times. In general, it is still a familiar formula and a familiar taste.

    Upon reaching the end of this review, I’ve come away with a revelation. Yes, Far Cry 6 is the accumulated chemical detritus from years of similar lab experiments, layered and stratified, compounded with time and pressure. But it isn’t a catalyst. I am. I played Far Cry 6 to completion: I pressed buttons to shoot guns and progress the plot; I killed an inordinate number of animals to buy upgrades; I equipped new pairs of pants to make myself stealthier. And at the end of it all, I felt nothing. I was unchanged by the experience.
