    Only a few hours in but writing this review because will drop the game to play something else.

    And yup, it's still a Far Cry game. Same old formula with nothing changed — well, if you played lots of FC game before, you will notice a few cycled missions and even same bug you encountered before.     I don't know what to say about FC6 because you can just go over any reviews from FC3 and apply that to FC6. It's really just the same game in different skin.

    Just to clarify — it's not a bad game by any means & it definitely doesn't deserve 3.6/10 user score it's getting. It's just feels... *whatever*, to the point where I don't even want to read reviews to figure out why it's getting bombed.    … Expand

    If you can put aside the dump trucks worth of woke propaganda, the latest Far Cry game is little more than a re-hash of its predecessor.

    Weapons physics are mostly decent, creative array of weapons to enjoy and upgrades we saw in the last game. Enemies are just as predictable and moronic, although it does seem they are more aggressive and better armed.     Story line is garbage, even bringing on board quality actors can't overcome the over cooked characterisations and hammy woke nonsense, people are royally sick and tired of.

    I honestly knew this game would be bad the second the game loaded for the 'second' time after a timeout issue which prevented the game from loading the first time, the very first mission being a stealth mission that you cannot be seen at all otherwise instant death which should have been so much better to set the pace moving forward but proves to be more frustrating.

    A step backwards from Far Cry 5 which is unfortunate but usually expected after a good earlier release to live up too, and FC6 does not. Many bugs and issues hold the game back as well as absolutely poor flying/aircraft controls which is unforgivable because FC5 had quite good control methods for aircraft whilst FC6 has abysmal controls, even some ground vehicles like the hovercraft are an absolute chore to drive and even simple things like auto-drive barely work!

    Feels like it tries to borrow heavily from games like Wildlands and the Just Cause series and just fails in almost every department even though on paper, the concept is sound. The story is a bit cliche but what isn't these days? Your typical despot dictator and you're part of a revolution to bring peace to an ailing country, throw in tons of vehicles, bases to capture and dozens of collectables aka the usual Ubisoft open world recipe and in theory the game should be pretty playable, but Far Cry 6 suffers greatly in so many areas that is just doesn't work very well at all.

    The bandito submissions are always absolutely terrible and basically are similar to a mobile/facebook style game where you select a leader, wait several "REAL TIME" hours for the mission to start, and these can be pretty long, and the timing counts down even when your offline with maximum time for you to come back otherwise the mission is cancelled, for example the most common is a 1hr timer for the mission to start, with 12 hours or so for the player to start the mission before its automatically cancelled.

    The gunplay is subpar too, and early in the game you like any firepower to fighting helios is a literal borefest since you can't headshot the pilots, don't get me wrong...it has some good ideas that borrow heavily from games like wildlands but fails to capitalize on any of those ideas.

    The bugs and issues in the game are also a huge problem, occasionally the game doesn't even load and timeouts and heads back to the menu, often requiring several attempts to load your save game. Couple that even auto-drive issues, terrible AI, overpowered enemy helicopters and armor.

    If you are new to this franchise, do yourself a huge favor and skip this one and get Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 5, easily the best in the series, this is a complete failure.    … Expand

    The lead bad guy cutscenes were good.

    Story aside; the gunplay and AI is just the typical far-cry, nothing entirely new or fun. Gun mods are kind of meh.

Throwing another party when the job is done even though some of their friends are dead, wtf? The characters have very little interaction between themselves, they are just a bunch of npc that gives me quests and have me finished it. All they care is to take over the current political state without a clear reason, just for the sake of doing it. There's nothing follow up after taking over the state.

    In my playthrough, I just want to rush it through to the end because the main campaign is too boring. The character, story is very dull and unintersting. Finding some critical parts for the main mission by looking at the photos is turning me down for enjoying the game. Listening the MC talking on the phone repeating the same line about hardtime finding billboards over and over again is so ridiculously annoying. For the gameplay, because the enemies are mostly braindead, so there's no challenge at all. Rushing through the camp is no problem because they can't see you, and you can head shot them so many times since they just stand there even if you are right next to them. It seems like Far Cry series is going backwards. The older titles have much better dynamic stories and characters, the enemies AI is even better and smarter. It's so funny to see that it gets worse everytime when ubisoft makes a new game in recent years, just like Assassin Creed.    … Expand

MEN fight wars, all the more so when it's a defense war against an overpowering enemy and selective draft is enacted. Women make up a tiny portion of the combat force, and are way less effective in infantry (and several other) roles.

    Gameplay was fun and even if i didnt like some of the new mechanics i had a good time doing the missions.
    Couldnt run on max settings on ultra wide at 2k with a 2070 but the graphics are pretty and i had some hickups on lower settings but nothing major. The soundtrack was annoying and you might as well just play despacito on the radio on repeat because i was    Big fan of the series here

    Thats normally the stongest point on every FarCry game... And it started so well... As a Spanish speaker i loved the proper feel of how the conversation went with the expressions, and the voice acting was stellar as usual! big props to the cast!
    I have no idea how the game went form cool well built characters and villain and went to SJW fanfiction on the second half...
    By all means have diversity on your stories im not personally against that but the way it got done it was so messy it looks like a charicature... It felt like you just trying to check all the virtue boxes and it got lost on it... if you try to include everyone it feels forced and out of place.
    A whole area of your game felt like babysitting angry teens... very annoying and lt was the last thing i did on the game before the end and it felt like a bore...
    The ending also *NO SPOILERS was a giant letdown and there was no big decision to be made or even bittersweetnes on the outcome, the story just... died... and the setup was just fantastic at the start i was enjopying meeting everyone and then it slowly turn boring.
    Big hope that the user score make the devs understand that storytelling is paramount and getting involved on woke politics is just boring... or maybe is just me!    … Expand

    story is boring AF, no sense of progression at all, no creativity once so ever

    get to a new area
    help them with 13-15 boring quests, finish area - go to the next area - repeat for 30 hours.
    I couldn't even bring myself to finish it. once you finish an area you never contact or been contacted by them again.. took me 30 hours to beat the game + some side mission.

Так же обманули на счет городов, здесь их по сути и нет, тупо дерёвни, а главный город как город то и не ощущается особо, он тупо пуст. Главного антогониста как то ваще мало было как будто бы, остальные злодеи из его шайки так ваще ни о чем, обычные болванчики, которых даже убивать не интересно, в пятерке куда лучше сделали. Враги максимальные дауны, я тупее реально не видел еще ИИ в играх, а играл на макс. сложности , которую они позже добавили. Сюжет ваще какой то невнятный, даже обсуждать его не хочется, не интересный. Крч максимально посредственная игра, из хорошего только графон, оптимизон, ганплей , ну и тем кто не брезгует захватывать аванпосты в принципе первая половина игры будет по кайфу, дальше кнш скука смертная.… Expand

    Fabuła typu średniak z Netflixa. Fajny temat, który spłaszczono w niepoważny i niezabawny sposób.
    Główny wątek i kilka zadań pobocznych wydaje się ok, ale ostatecznie mocno zawodzi. Reszta nieciekawa.

    Nieciekawe postacie, mówiące z bezsensownym akcentem i wtrącające pojedyncze słowa w innym języku. Kobiety silne, faceci słabi. Antagonista ujdzie, ale to i tak zmarnowany potencjał.
    Problemy osób LGBT+ poruszane są w głównym wątku fabularnym.
    Jest wybór płci, ale czuć, że gra została stworzona z myślą o żeńskiej bohaterce. Taką grało mi się znacznie lepiej.

    Rozgrywka kuleje. To taki słabszy "Assassin's Creed" z widokiem z oczu i bronią palną.
    Niezbyt przyjemne strzelanie i poruszanie się.
    Często czułem się męcząco ograniczany.
    Chwilowy widok zza pleców w niektórych miejscach, z blokowaniem skakania i strzelania, to pomyłka.
    Dużo powtarzalnych zapychaczy czasu.
    Nie ma save'ów, tylko autosave'y, które zachowują się dziwacznie.

    Bezsensowne i zbędne mechaniki - lepiej się gra po zignorowaniu wielu z nich.
    Nieciekawe odblokowywanie broni, szybko przestały mnie obchodzić.
    Bezsensowne lvlowanie postaci - nie przekłada się na siłę bohatera, to tylko na sztuczne odblokowywanie obszarów.

    Coś jest nie tak z systemem otrzymywania obrażeń i leczenia. Nieprzyjemnie na wyższym poziomie trudności, za łatwo na niższym.

    Nie chce mi się więcej rozwalać tych samych przeciwników, odnawiających się w tych samych miejscach, do których wracam, ponieważ musiałem się cofnąć po zbugowanego towarzysza, który po raz kolejny utknął na kamieniu czy innym drzewie.    … Expand

    Pretty meh game tbh. It just feels like a watered down version of far cry 4. No characters that are all that interesting, and even the setting is nothing super interesting. 3 had an amazing villain, 4 was immensely open world, and 5 had an interesting premise. There is nothing special about 6 that makes it stand out. A few new guns and that's about it. Not terrible but nothing amazingPretty meh game tbh.     Such a boring and frustrating game. I’ve just finished it and feeling super disappointed all round. Some incredibly boring missions. Drive around the whole map and shoot down all the billboards or keep getting an annoying phone call over and over and over again. This game sucked.

    Играл в FC4 отлично, FC5 хорошо, а вот в FC6 пройдя 1/3 я игру просто удалил. Тот же самый FC4 я прошел дважды, а вот FC6 не осилил.

    This game is a Just cause 3 in first person without the freshness that one had, its not as awful as New Dawn but still a bad game.
    The gameplay is dumb, spongy, with rpg stuff affecting it, the AI just runs to where you are to shoot you face to face, even the mouse acceleration was terrible in the default value, they didnt give a damn about making it good.

    It does looks decent and runs well, thats the only things Ubisoft ever does right anyway.    … Expand

Please ubisoft innovate, or this franchise will die. I enjoyed this game somewhat, but I am getting kinda bored of the same game every time.     Far Cry is an open world game, which means sniper rifles. That's just what that means, whether you like it or not, so what do the devs do? They make the sniper rifles useless (damage, aiming, everything). A pistol is more effective.
    Also, there are all kinds of mechanics that make this game more of an RPG, but a bad one. First of all, role-playing games with guns don't work because headshots should result in death and should not result in numbers flying off of your enemy head (and if you disagree with me, you're obviously wrong), but secondly and more importantly, Far Cry is supposed to be a first person FPS and not an RPG, but the devs will sneakily try to push their RPG mechanics on you anyway.

    The graphics are actually surprisingly bad. I am not complaining about that though, because the upside is that I am able to maintain 50+ fps on my laptop, but I can imagine that some people will be upset when they spend 1000 EUR on a new video card, turn all the settings to "ultra" and then they see a game that looks like it was released 5 or 10 years ago.

    I will reconsider this review, when they fix the sniper rifles.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Farcry was my absolute favorite gaming franchises i loved every one up until now. The third person cut scenes take away from what farcry was i played through and beat the hole game and didn't unlock or even get close enough cash to buy a good weapon i wanted. The game was constantly freezing and crashing i was playing on Xbox one s and the animal allies pretty much do nothing but get in the way i was very mad about what one of my favorite games has turned into i did like how you can pic your character tho but i completely regret buying this game and im a little disappointed that i waited for a new farcry just to get this.the story was good tho but a little short also… Expand

    There was so much potential to tell a great thought provoking story, but instead, Ubisoft have chosen to tell the story about bunch of stupid tiktok SJW kids that somehow turns out to fight in Cuba type revolution

    2 - the graphics , i have to say , in 1080p , its very bad graphics , even i used the ultra setting , it very worst than farcry 5 and farcry new dawn , Aliasing are everywhere , and the only Initial island has the best graphics , its no joke , main island has very worst feeling , especially buildings , like a game in year 2018 , and there is texture bug in game , they havent fix it yet , and for now farcry 6 has the worst performance in farcry games , push players , order them to use 4K is a very stupid means ，UBI who make you become this ? tencent ?     The only thing in this game came out well with the cars and their tuning And on this I put not 0 but the mark of 4.

    I got the impression that Ubisoft only had enough money for one screenwriter, since the entire budget went to open-world designers. And more likely she poor guy riveting template plots for all ubi games. For the open world here as always just a peek, and the story - the standard travesty of the villain to get to him killing his assistants.

    I actually had the impression that I was playing Ghost Recon, but with a first-person view. The main villain here is not a psychopath, as before, but a sadistic cruel dictator. Interesting missions are few, mostly banal, of the template type: deal with the radio towers, deal with the propaganda, release the rebels, etc., etc. This is all we have seen more than once in past parts of the Far Cry and in other series of games from Jubisoft.
    In the end, there is nothing new or exciting to immerse yourself in the game! All the same travesty of idiocy, bots appearing out of nowhere and a lot of unnecessary content.    … Expand

Так же хорош большой выбор оружия, под каждый стиль игры, начиная от классических AKM и Beretta M9 и заканчивая MG42 и АС "ВАЛ". Теперь к плохому) Ужасный сюжет, ужасные квесты, ужасные персонажи и главный герой. Ничего не запоминается, вообще. А главный герой это обычный мальчик на побегушках, опять "принеси, подай, убей" всё, больши ничего там нет. Были бы квесты хорошие, так нет, они однообразные, да и толком без сюжета. Так же в игре нет катсцен почти что совсем, просто, подходишь в NPC, и нажимаешь кнопку "начать операцию" или как-то так, а цель миссии расписана текстом. Класс, да?

    И так, что я хочу сказать, в этой игре нет ничего, кроме красивой обёртки в виде графики, всё остальное это просто ужасно, да и цена на российском рынке очень высокая - 2500₽ за обычную игру с фармом. Так вот, FarCry это хорошая игра, если вы хотите вечерами посидеть, отдохнуть, не думая о сюжете, это игра прекрасно для этого подойдёт, для полноценного прохождения, я вам её не советую. 4 балла чисто из-за окружающего мира и оружия    … Expand

    Far Cry finally got rid of the most annoying bits (like the infamous towers), but that’s pretty much the extent of the series’ progress. Far Cry 6 doesn’t improve on the core concept in any way. Still, all the expected mechanics work as advertised and keep the game above the line.

    Far Cry 6 is a work that strives for progress while maintaining stability. There are ancestral gameplays of the series that have not been outdated, and some system optimizations and improvements that keep pace with the times. In general, it is still a familiar formula and a familiar taste.

    Upon reaching the end of this review, I’ve come away with a revelation. Yes, Far Cry 6 is the accumulated chemical detritus from years of similar lab experiments, layered and stratified, compounded with time and pressure. But it isn’t a catalyst. I am. I played Far Cry 6 to completion: I pressed buttons to shoot guns and progress the plot; I killed an inordinate number of animals to buy upgrades; I equipped new pairs of pants to make myself stealthier. And at the end of it all, I felt nothing. I was unchanged by the experience.
