Aug 10, 2011You will love it though if you chose the Weird Wasteland perk, loved the Vault filled with Garys in 3, or just don't mind playing through an extremely funny and well-written DLC pack that throws interesting surprises at you all the time, rewards exploration greatly, and packs more imagination and play-time in it than nearly every other full-priced game out there.
-
Aug 2, 2011It's sad, scary, kooky, weird and wonderful: everything that we love about the Fallout universe.
-
Jul 25, 2011Despite the limitations, this is probably the best DLC addon for Fallout period.
-
Jul 25, 2011With more than 13 hours' worth of fun, hilarious, and classic Fallout content, Fallout: new Vegas -- Old World Blues is a must for any New Vegas owner.
-
Jul 22, 2011Put simply, if you own Fallout: New Vegas, this one's, well, a no-brainer.
-
Jul 26, 2011By delivering a sandbox environment that's imaginative and surprising, New World Blues delivers on the overall promise of the Fallout series. But by doing so with such delight and gusto, it goes above and beyond, resulting in the finest expansion the series has seen yet.

PC Games (Russia)Aug 29, 2011A risky Fallout experiment – and a very successful one. [Sept 2011, p.100]

Aug 8, 2011Thinking about DLC's would be less annoying if all add-ons had the quality of Old World Blues. It's a well-produced original story filled with humor and excellent dialogue. It's worth its price and your time. Fans of New Vegas won't be disappointed because this DLC keeps the best parts of the original game and serves them in a great way. If the developers have something like that in store for us, I'm in!
-
Jul 28, 2011The fun and funny Fallout: New Vegas - Old World Blues gushes personality and is the game's best add-on yet.
-
PC Gamer UKSep 8, 2011Packs goofy characters, great loot, and a few bugs into an interesting new zone for the Fallout series. [Oct 2011, p.86]
-
Jul 26, 2011Old World Blues is the best in the New Vegas add-on's so far, every part of its world is both exigent and motivating.
-
Sep 16, 2011The extra content, funny characters and entertaining story introduced through Old World Blues, makes the great Fallout: New Vegas even better. There is much to explore, and who wouldn't want to meet up with one's own brain for a bit of a chat?
-
Jul 22, 2011A great surprise. Sure, the gameplay formula is typical Fallout -- fetch quests, exploration, killing, and moral decision making -- but it's wrapped in a genuinely humorous package.
-
Jul 22, 2011It's an interesting scenario and the fight's are really challenging. With five new character levels, new perks, weird weapons and a huge world to explore it's a good DLC and worth its money.
-
Aug 14, 2011All quests, both main and optional, are simple "fetch" tasks. Once in a while, the developers break the routine with forced stealth sequences, but they're not really entertaining – you'll have to crawl through the same corridors five times in a row.
-
Jul 28, 2011One of the best written DLCs for a Fallout game ever. It plays a strong part in the post-New Vegas story that the DLC packs are building, With that said, it's also one of the worst paced, with some of the most boring fetch quests you're likely to find in any Fallout game. It feels like an excuse to deliver excellent dialogue and humor, but with very few instances of quality content to actually play through.
