F1 Manager 2022 seems to not have left Early Access entirely. There’s still much to improve, but you have to remember that this is the very first edition of the game – and as such, it lays solid foundations for the future.

F1 Manager 2022 is a must-have experience if you're a F1 enthusiast. There are various inadequacies in its current state, but its future looks very bright.

Expectations were high for the new F1 management game, but they were only partially met. F1 Manager 2022 is a good starting point to work on (the developer has acquired a four-year license), but still decidedly immature in content, especially as regards the more strictly managerial part.

F1 Manager 2022 does a terrific job at recreating the atmosphere of Formula 1, but the simulation itself needs huge improvements, because poor balance and terrible AI strip the races of realism.

Gorgeous to look at but quite shallow and full of bugs, F1 Manager 2022 needs to improve on the realism and accuracies before it can achieve pole position.

F1 Manager 2022 makes you feel in control of a real Formula 1 team and live each race with excitement, but the management aspects of the game are too shallow in its current state, and the race simulation is hurt by a terrible driver AI, horrible collisions and some more aspects that could have been better polished.

It’s been a long, long time since F1 fans have had a licensed management sim that lived up to the dramatic highs of the real thing. The recent explosion of interest paved the way for the perfect timing for a return to this style of F1 game. But even more impressive than its timing is its execution, which leaves extremely little to be desired. It’s been more than a two-decade wait — but it was more than worth it. [Polygon Recommends]

I’m still discovering all the mechanics and systems at play in F1 Manager 2022, and while it may not have captured all the exciting and dynamic elements of Formula 1, it’s an enjoyable experience in its own right. It provides fans like myself with a deeper glimpse into the real nuts and bolts of the sport, while giving die hard fans almost limitless access to running their own F1 team. The only thing I would really have liked to see is the ability to create your own team from scratch. [Review in Progress]

This game is bad clone of Motorsport Manager.
Race managment is non existent (all tyre compound can do laps within 0,5s, tyre condition doesnt matter if its more than 30%, fuel can be +5laps and two corners later its -0,5). I hope they will fix it with upcoming patches. In race graphic is really nice and i really enjoy watching car battle.
But outside of races there is nothing to do. You dont have option to change sponsors, you dont need to worry about money pretty much. In midfield teams once you develop 2-3 parts you start to fight for wins. You can see anyones stats without scouting. No ingame interviews. You can win a gp with Williams and no one gives a f, no email anything. Oh and achievment are really boring generic crappy ones.
I can only hope that Frontier will focus on off-track things in next years entry, because if they would add little bit of personality, managing crew training, working on car reliability, and something to do outside races (interviews, checking news where some rumors can generate).
For now its 2/10, if they change problems with tyres and fuel it could be 5/10, but MM is still the better game.
