Driving the new edition of F1 is still a great experience, but it didn't come with significantly new and better content, so don't expect too much.

F1 22 is one of the best racing games on the market, especially when it comes to the career mode. I’m also happy with the VR support, but putting so much emphasis on supercars and cosmetic items is a step in the wrong direction.

F1 22 is a flawed entry that has been tainted by its desperation to seemingly appeal to casual players. Even so, the driving mechanics carry the game, and it still manages to be a fun racing experience. Against all of the odds, F1 22 pulled through and is something worth playing.

The F1 series was getting better and better in the last years. Unfortunately F1 22 stops this trend. F1 Life and Supercars aren’t the new interesting features we were hoping for. The gameplay has weaknesses as well and on top there are some big graphic issues when it comes to rainy races.

Built on the foundations of several fantastic games, and those qualities remain – but you already own them. F1 22 simply doesn’t offer enough for a full-price purchase.

Codemasters has captured Formula 1’s more thrilling aspects brilliantly in VR for F1 22 and I’ve never felt so immersed in a racing game before. While I’m sad to see the story mode go and didn’t care hugely for F1 Life, I can see F1 22 appealing to both long-term series fans and newcomers seeking a fresh racer. Hopefully we’ll see a post-launch patch will fix these performance issues but if you’re happy to compromise for the moment, F1 22 is a great choice that comes recommended.

All the bugs from the previous few titles are there. Plus all the **** that nobody asked for - paid cosmetics, F1 life oh and no story mode to boot. No classic cars, inaccurate circuits laughable sound design - the cars sounds like playback on a mobile phone speaker. I said to myself if it's crap this year I'm not buying any more. Safe to say this is the last money I'm giving Codemasters and EA.

Also its nice to see all the degenerate "game reviewers" giving this game an 80. **** disgusting paid off lying little ****

Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V from F1 2021. Small differences like new graphics. Micro-transactions for sh**ty shoes, carpets or items like this. Quick-time events are only argument for buying F1 22. New handling model (for me) is a bad change. Infamous "EgoDumper" still appears. AI is going wide in turn 10 in Bahrain. Nico Hulkenberg have icon for nothing. AI on last lap is doing "Banzai charge" because of desperation. Super-cars handling model sucks. F1 life is useless. More furnitures than helmets.

For me it's huuuge disappointment. I'll better spend my money on F1 Manager 22.
I give 4/10 only because sympathy for F1
