A boring pile of overhyped horse crap, that will have its player base die faster than Titanfall. Feel free to throw your money away if you must have this game. Feel free to throw even more away with tye countless micro transaction options it offers.

Save your money for May so that you can support a real developer like cd projekt red that won't nickel and dime you left and right. This game has to fail in order to avoid a collapse in the gaming industry. I hope it bombs financially after reading quotes from the developer and publisher.

Day 1 DLC to actually have a complete game = -5 points.

Other than that, it's a fun game for a few hours, then it's extremely repetitive. So review outside of DLC = 6/10, day 1 DLC = 1/10.

    Don't buy.

I have put around 62 hours into this game. It looks great. Great mapping, great worlds and creatures. However, it is really glitched. Game with friends constantly disconnects. Not just me. Everyone on my team. You start over and have lost every point and xp from the previous game. Mouse cursor is visible during the game which is very annoying when shooting. Then when you need your mouse cursor for selecting characters and weapon setup the cursor is gone. its taking its union break i suppose. Had a couple people drop off map and get stuck. They should have used the $$ and personnel to make HL3. Multiplier IS the future of gaming but games like this will be as short lived as a bottle rocket. And a story line never hurt anyone! come on kids, get one. Critic reviews are mid to high. idk why. guess they aren't paid to write negative reviews. Take them with a grain of salt.

1)It gets really boring really fast.
2)extremely repetitive. so so so so so so so so so so repetitive.
3)No story line. They try to hint at one. fails.
    4) DLC. Pay more money for more monsters and characters to play the same repetitiveness. No, screw that. DLC only work for games that bring you something really new. Not, "hey. want a new skin for your old monster 5bucks please."

But, Evolve also fails in a proper price setting. Half of the game is fully unlocked, but the other half is limited and requires you to grind, or pay from your wallet. That is why Turtle Rock Studios should have made it free to play. Evolve has problems in the techincal department too, pop in textures in a crowded multiplayer mode, laggy movements during **** hits the fan sequences and muddy textures. Evolve is a game only for next gen devices, but the PC version looks way better than the PS4 version, I demoed at my friend's house. There are a lot of jerks filling up servers, so when you boot up the game, expect a 30 minute wait to get into a match. Evolve is online only, so that means you need a good internet hookup and plenty for friends to play with, otherwise it will be horde mode with creepy aliens for you, my friend. I liked the E3 announcement and got the game because of the ideas and interesting multiplayer modes. But, Evolve really gave me the lukewarm game I didn't expect. The bland visuals, lag, crowded servers and the unfair purchase system make Evolve, one to get once it lands up in a sale bin at Walmart. Expand

Now that's out of the way how about the gameplay? Well it's decent at best, it gets very repetitive very quickly as the game only features one gamemode, YES I know there's more, but the only gamemode that anyone plays is Hunt while the others are never touched. Playing as the monster is kinda cool, but it should have been in first person, so I had an idea who I was killing. Playing as the hunters was boring for me because all of the characters feel like carbon copies of other FPS classes, except the Trapper who is unique.

The story? It's terrible ESPECIALLY THE ENDING, and the game has next to new character, all of the characters are all bland and boring.

The graphics while amazing, you do need a powerful PC for it to run on max settings, overall the world of Evolve looks great!

Overall Evolve is a massive cash cow and a disgrace to gaming, plus I predicted that this game would suffer the same fate as Titanfall in my steam review, "Hyped with lots of DLC, dies within a month" and I was right, right now in the time of this review the original Killing Floor had more players (And it's dieing because of Killing Floor 2 and the lack of new content) then Evolve, that's a joke, like this game and it's precious DLC life support.

Whenever you see 2K publish or Turtle Rock Studios develop a new game, just remember they shat out this massive lazy cash cow, and don't fall into the same trap, especially 2K, they love chopping up content and selling it as DLC, look at Borderlands 2, the Pre-Sequel and the Sid Meier's games, look at all that DLC they sell, and it's getting worse.

Even if all the extra monsters and classes had been included in the $60 US release then it still would not have enough content. It's not like they had to write their own game engine. Time to hire a new business team.

Then, when i went to buy it, i saw the DLC crap and turned around away from it. Now i went back to check it out, to see if they had any success with this dirty money milking scheme and all i could find was that there are 682 players online and that they "shipped out" (not sold) 2.5 million copies. Promising product, bad marketing - total failure. Just so you understand how much they failed with this one, most reviewers on steam did not play it for more than 5 hours. I have the options to review it on steam, since i have played it on Alpha and it says that the game is in my library, but when i try to post my review there, i get a red error message. They try to censor negative reviews as much as possible. Stay away from these people and their games. I will refuse to play this game even if it will go free and money will be given for playing it.
