Succeeds on all the levels it's meant to; it adds something for everyone, deepens the end-game for those players who show the most overall loyalty to the franchise itself, and expands on the in-game history and lore.
-
The PvP system is flawed and that dampens the experience and entertainment factor. Sure, there is an adrenalin rush, and you have to keep on your toes, but it does grow old after a while, and players who find themselves being ganked continuously by squads of PvPers who are exploiting the system may soon head for other pastures.
-
While only high leveled players will really get to explore all that this expansion has to offer, newer ones will want access to the achievements, so they too will want to upgrade, even if it takes them awhile before they get to head to the skies.
-
PC Gamer UKFodder for EQ lovers but suffers from a lack of variety. [June 2006, p.82]
-
Admittedly there's a broad range of players who can take advantage of the new achievement system but they're still missing out on the actual content -- quests, monsters, zones -- that's being offered to the high-level crowd.
-
Kingdom of Sky is best-suited to existing EverQuest II fans, but those fans will find new adventure, advancement, and PVP combat in this expansion.

EricE.Jan 15, 2008Expands the game from lvl 60 up to 70. Mostly higher level content. However I don't like the floating island theme. Not my favorite expansion.
