Ever Forward is a captivating and emotionally charged puzzle adventure that doesn’t overstay its welcome with puzzle difficulty as it naturally evolves across each level. Following Maya through this mysterious world was made easy thanks to the environment designs, pacing, and overall accessibility. Aside from some stale story translations, Ever Forward is a great way to spend an evening.

Ever Forward is a strikingly beautiful game with interesting and challenging puzzles, but harsh difficulty spikes make it a little more frustrating than it should be.

The story is simple, yet catchy but the gameplay has nothing to do with it and no bearing on it. Mixing puzzles and stealth is also a bad idea and makes everything feel like a chore. What attracted me initially was art style of the island setting (I was hoping for another Rime) but that one has the least of all to do with anything else and by the unsatisfying end there is nothing beautiful left in the game. These are the important aspects about the game:
    1) The difficulty of the puzzles is from moderate to hard so unless you have an IQ of 150+
These are the important aspects about the game:
    1) The difficulty of the puzzles is from moderate to hard so unless you have an IQ of 150+ you will not find it a walk in the park.
    2) Gameplay has its faults because in several cases you may be close to the solution but it will need an awkward execution.
    3) The story is lovely and also very simple so you will not find complex development of characters here.
