The newest expansion Rubicon provides power to individual players and smaller corporations. The new deployables are a welcome addition, as well as the beautiful new ships. With that, it disrupts the balance of this stone cold PVP-world, which is a great thing in EVE's case. Rubicon is proof that CCP is going in the right direction.

Not surprisingly this has been exactly what CCP has been doing for years. No doubt they will promise iteration and such but then forget all about it as they then rush off to hype the next latest bling expansion, just like they have done all these years. Full Review »

CCP never fails to deliver. You either love them or hate them, and that's reflected by the user ratings so far. Brilliant integration of newCCP never fails to deliver. You either love them or hate them, and that's reflected by the user ratings so far. Brilliant integration of new features, new ways for players to produce content and, more importantly, more player control of the metagame. Like any other MMO patch, you're gonna need a stable internet connection to get the whole thing in one go, so if you're having problems, that would be why.

This is a game that is constantly in development and constantly improving, although since Incarna, they've been taking greater care to produce content of quality rather than quantity. The problem with gamers today is they want too much too fast, which is why so many games are rushed out with so many issues. The few bugs that EVE patches come with are well within the bounds of what could be expected from any game that has been carefully playtested things that only show up under very unique circumstances that are difficult if not impossible to predict.
