Feb 25, 2011Divine Wind is the expansion for the oldest fans of the franchise. The changes it introduces are really nice, but they aren't as exciting as Heir to the Throne and In Nomine.
-
PC Games (Russia)Mar 21, 2011Another circuit in the series' evolution. Thankfully, on the right trajectory. [Feb 2011, p.117]
-
Mar 9, 2011Surely, strategists will appreciate this brand new and polished expansion!
-
LEVEL (Czech Republic)Feb 24, 2011Finally, there is a reason why to leave trouble-free Europe and try how they make politics in Asia. Japan campaign is the best Europa Universalis III can offer at the moment. [Issue#200]
-
Jan 10, 2011Arguably these minor upgrades could be included in a free patch but Divine Wind is an expansion worth playing for its inclusion of China and Japan.
-
PC GamerFeb 26, 2011A handful of changes don't go far enough to differentiate East from West. [April 2011, p.77]
-
Jan 14, 2011This expansion adds some welcome content for China and Japan, but is primarily just a collection of minor enhancements and tweaks.
-
Feb 11, 2011Ultimately, however, Divine Wind doesn't add enough to be as much of a mandatory expansion as its predecessors were.
-
Jan 18, 2011The slight interface changes and the ability to play as the internal factions does mix things up a bit, but once the novelty of reigning over the Orient wears off, you'll wish Paradox would start working on the next entry in the series, rather than another underwhelming expansion pack.
