Jan 5, 2015Dead Island, what actually is not Dead Island. Boring corridors and sleepy gameplay is enhanced by stupid story. Comics stylization hardly covers the low production values. Even with tremendous discount this game is not worth buying.
-
Dec 28, 2014Unlike its predecessors, Escape Dead Island feels devoid of heart or identity. It is a cruel reminder of the shovelware that plagued the PlayStation, PlayStation 2, and the Wii and behind its generic facade hides a malnourished newborn of a game starved for nutrition and attention.
-
Dec 22, 2014Just like its zombies, Escape Dead Island is dull and predictable, but it does have a few moments of clarity. Overall, it’s just awful, both as part of the franchise and a stand-alone game.
-
Dec 11, 2014Escape Dead Island disappoints on multiple levels, from its lackluster gameplay, to its awful storytelling.
-
Nov 19, 2014It is hard to associate this poor action-adventure game with the Action-RPG series Dead Island. Little variation and even less fun for this total disappointment.

CD-ActionFeb 7, 20153-in-1: a poor stealth game, a primitive adventure game and a boring action game. [01/2015, p.50]
-
Nov 30, 2014The best way to escape Dead Island is to never land there in the first place.
-
Nov 17, 2014Escape Dead Island squandered whatever opportunity it had to make a compelling story, while offering only sub-par gameplay to tide you over in the meantime. It has no business being a game, rather than a one-shot graphic novel for dedicated fans.
