Eragon is a third person game based on the film of the same name, in which you play as the titular character as you make a journey to defeat evil through different locations.

The cinematics are artistic visually mixing 3d with 2d with a look and fell of an old film.
The game is not that hard and is not that long either... like 5 hrs. or so.
The controls are awful, you can only use your keyboard to move and attack, but the determinate key are really odd placed and the worst of all... you can't modify them!!!! if you have an xbox 360 control for windows you can use that instead as it had full support for it.
Should you check it out? well... if you don't have nothing else to play and you don't mind spend a few bucks then go for it... just don't expect a Dragon age kind experience or a Nier Automata kind of experience as well.

An excellent treat for fans of the books and soon to be fans of the film. The game covers a lot of territory while doing a great job of bringing a decent amount of challenge and thrills to the masses.

Eragon isn't worth the brief amount of time it takes to play through it. The gameplay and presentation aren't up to snuff and the storytelling cutscenes don't do their job at all.
  3. The combat is very fun. Take that for what it's worth though. Fans of the book(s) will surely want to play it.
