    this is the best flash rpg game ever
    the characters are awesome
    the game-play is balanced
    the art style (from my end ) is just beautiful i like the anime styled look the game has
    the enemies are more than creative
    and the weapons are great
    i just wish Matt would have focused more on the story but still great game

    This is great, funny game with good rpg mechanics. There are tons of jokes, easter eggs, hidden stuff - you feel that game was made by passionate people. Every character has own personality, they all have THEIR OWN sense of humor. I really enjoyed playing this game after hard working day, when i couldn't play hardcore ones.

    Gameplay 9/10 Graphics 8/10 Audio 10/10 UI 8/10 Humour    This is great, funny game with good rpg mechanics.     Below the surface , this is a good , solid RPG game, that cover most of the basics of a RPG, but the story.
    Despite it`s graphic style, the game mechanics are solid, good bunch of spells, magic schools and items.
    It might seem like just another anime RPG ( or JRPG) but it has good production quality
    Worth the buy and the time.
    Why 8/10 ? , story is laking.

    This game is absolutely awesome! With a simple story that still has enough meat to latch onto, you'll stay for the fantastic turn based battling and the absolutely hilarious dialogue. Apparently a Nature Girl, A Bulky Meathead, a Busty Mage and a Perverted Army Officer bounce off each other with the best dialogue of any game I've ever played.

    Epic Battle Fantasy 4 is an amazing and solid turn-based Rpg. With many different weapons, items, and skills to collect, and a wonderful upgrade system using ingredients to better your weapons and armor, Epic Battle Fantasy 4 creates one of the most compelling indie Rpg's on PC. The visuals aren't the greatest but the games humor, and atmosphere make up for the rough visuals.

    To start off, I have completed both Epic Battle Fantasy 1 & 2 but, not 3. I also did not play the free version of 4.

    Comedy, Anime, RPG. All these elements which I loved are presented as one in this game. The series that first started out as a flash game has come a long way.     Comedy, Anime, RPG. All these elements which I loved are presented as one in this game. The series that first started out as a flash game has come a long way. The system mechanics presented is what you would expect from reading the title. The music sounds clear and distinct and the comedy has an anime feel to it. There are anime references to this game. I won't state how much as I do not know the exact amount but, anime watchers, be sure to watch out for them. I will not comment on the art style as each person has their own taste and requirements. Epic Battle Fantasy 4 is a great game, however, it does have some problems. I absolutely do not like the menu. It feels cluster and laggy when opening it. The game feels like it is poorly optimized because with a 3770k and HD7850, I still see lag. This problem could be at my end so take this with a grain of salt.

    Overall, I enjoyed this game almost as much as the Final Fantasy games. For its' price, I say it is a pretty good deal. Of course you can always wait till the upcoming Steam Summer Sale.

    The game suffers from a number of technical issues, including a massive memory leak that the developer acknowledges, but has so far refused to actually fix.     The game suffers from a series of classic JRPG tropes and mistakes, the most glaring being the complete lack of direction. You are expected to just kind of wander around until you find what you need to do.

    The reality is, the game feels like some 10 year old from Reddit managed to secure a copy of RPG Maker and make a meme filled, meta humor infested, l33t speak game that just feels awful in all the wrong places.

    Do you have a pre-teen little brother in the house? This games for them, anyone else, take your money and throw it in the toilet and flush it down, it's better spent then on this junk.    … Expand
