Else Heart.Break() its a fantastic and unusual game.

Is a complex game, in which we have to discover by ourselves, how to do, where to go... a true exploration game.
Visually is very interesting and detailed, just to mourn the camera that sometimes gets in strange positions not allowing us to see as supposed.

Overall a fantastic game. An excellent and unusual experience.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Past a certain point the narrative funnels the player into following it and doesn't give the player time to explore. If anything it punishes the player for following it by forcing them to choose between the narrative or their world-hacking exploits. Furthermore the plot doesn't even advance at the start unless the player is in the right place at the right time and turns up at a series of parties (which isn't exactly an obvious thing to do - hackers aren't exactly known for going to parties and mingling with people). There are a couple of glaring bugs in the quest system. I know of at least one quest linked to the main hacking group that the narrative entirely skipped over in my game (specifically the Casino Heist). And when I was trying to complete a quest to find out the Mayor's secret, one of the hacking group burst into the room, interrupted my conversation and started me on the next story quest.A game with so much potential that ultimately falls infuriatingly short of what it could have been.

Amazing game where you can just exist in the world while the day has its pace and people go to work meet say goodbye like in Shenmue 1. On top of that you can hack everything. Very unique and wonderful game. Relaxing

A very ambitious mix of hacking, adventuring and an open world sandbox. The game feels somewhat clumsy to play and the objectives can get needlessly obscure, but there's nothing quite like it. [Oct 2016]

All in all else Heart.Break () is a unique and challenging gaming experience that invites the player to take a turn on the other side of the program, all the while introducing us to an ambiguous world not so different than our own.

The unique system of hacking and freedom of thought make Else Heart.Break() extremely engaging game, in which the freedom will make you almost clueless. The possibility to program the world to you own image, however, is worth a little awkwardness.
