Sep 10, 2023A large open world, many bosses, an amazing atmosphere, and plenty of replayability. But in this game, in addition to all the previously described advantages, there are also a sufficient number of disadvantages, such as rather poor optimization, a large number of repeated bosses, and an almost empty open world.

Sep 9, 2023If I had the right to give it more points I would, it truly is a masterpiece.

Sep 8, 2023Absolutely loved this game, probably my favorite souls-like so far. The Silmarillion vibe setting really topped it off. Well done.

Sep 8, 2023best souls like game ever i think. Art is better than every solslike game and its have so much different enemy styles

Sep 7, 2023Good game with a bad PC launch. Game is basically open world with the dark souls/bloodborne formula. Some enemies are cool and interesting, many are just unimaginative, extremely repetitive and boring,
Terrible controls for PC setting up the keybinds, Graphics are decent, but not great. -
Sep 7, 2023It's Aiight.
Prefer the original souls formula over mixing the combat and questing in with a Ubisoft-like sandbox
Didn't deserve the praise it got but glad to see Fromsoftware finally get the recognition they have deserved in the past, Just for one of their weakest games somehow. I guess because it's easier to grind for the casual market being open world like that. -

Sep 7, 202310/10 game but not a 100/100
From still has to evolve on the open world formula which is logical because its their first game in that genre -

Sep 2, 2023Very nice game apart from some aspect thar could have been better, like recycling boss or too many dungeons and stuttering, this game is the ultimate evolution of the Dark Souls formula

Sep 1, 2023The gameplay and world are outstanding.
I personally found the ending underwhelming. -

Sep 1, 2023Without a doubt one of the best single-player RPG games. No Nvidia DLSS or AMD FSR, so performance is poor on Max settings even with a good PC (In some areas) Ending was disappointing, but other than that incredible game.

Aug 31, 2023this was my gate to Souls game and I'm glad.
I played it for 190 hours, and I still think I didn't play it enough. -

Aug 29, 2023Formulaic storytelling that feels extremely derivative. It was acceptable to a point with the previous titles, but with Elden Ring, it feels like it's gone past that and now it just feels cheap and lazy.
-
Aug 29, 2023GOTY says enough. Although the scope and size of the game isn't quite my taste, and it sometimes takes away from the excellent quality of each individual encounter Im used to seeing from from software. Although I personally prefer other fromsoft experiences more, none of this stops this game from being an absolute 10/10

Aug 29, 2022Elden Ring is an experience that will not be forgotten in a hurry. It's a tremendous, hulking, massive achievement but because it is tremendous, hulking and massive, it is one that comes with many caveats. The shelves in CeX and conversations with people who stopped playing at Stormveil castle can certainly attest to some of those caveats. Much like any FromSoftware title, it's not going to be for everybody, but paradoxically it is one of their hardest and one of their most accessible to date. It offers huge value in one package, and perhaps is a little too much value, only becoming clearer when nearing the endgame. Don't be mistaken by the criticism, though. This is a phenomenal achievement with a moment-to-moment that is incredibly engaging and immersive. No doubt it will be deserving of the end-of-year accolades it will inevitably receive. One pushes through Elden Ring as one pushes through life, with all the highs and the lows that it brings.

Apr 28, 2022Elden Ring is massive, sometimes to its detriment. A thorough walkthrough might take up more than 100 hours to complete, and at some point it becomes clear that From Software did not have enough manpower to produce that much unique content. Still, it remains incredibly addictive even after those 100 hours pass…

Apr 14, 2022It’s hard to review Elden Ring without being comparative; that’s because Elden Ring is an evolutionary step, not a revolutionary one, and one can’t help but see how it’s built on what came before. Here is a massive undertaking of a game, not for the sake of chasing trends but as the natural progression of the style the company has been fostering for over a decade. It’s amazing how smoothly the transition to open world was and how much of the Souls identity is still present. In the short time since its release, it has already left a cultural mark, no doubt a result of the game’s increased approachability. Even after sifting past all the hype and grandiosity, there’s still an excellent game left and Elden Ring is a clear showcase of FromSoftware’s outstanding expertise in the field. Elden Ring really is just that good.
