EHM offers fans the most realistic, in-depth and immersive simulation of hockey management available, giving them the chance to manage either club or country in any of the world's top hockey-playing nations.

EHM allows you to take full control of your roster - you decide who to sign, who to trade and who to draft. You assemble the perfect coaching team and then, with everything in place, you can choose to either employ a head coach to guide your team from behind the bench, or take control of the coaching duties yourself. Whichever you choose, you can follow the action 'live' or watch the game highlights afterwards through the realistic 'top down' 2D game engine.

Unfortunately, the player can only indirectly control their team by recruiting players and adjusting the team roster.

When a new game is started the player created their manager, selects a team, and immediately begins making adjustments to the existing roster and staff. The amount of control and adjustments that can be made is impressive, and with the ability to download new content from the internet you will always have access to your favorite teams and players.

Eastside Hockey Manager is pretty quiet, and the music that does play is reserved for use  in the simulated hockey matches. This wouldn't be a problem for most hockey games, but since this game is primarily played outside of the simulated matches its recommended you play this game while listening to music.

Eastside Hockey Manager is a great game to play if you are interested in learning about what goes into creating a top tier hockey team, but it could be improved with more music and sound effects.

Minor issues that I could live with, like Kovalchuk playing Finnish Liiga after some years :D Then I tried to play with Jokerit in the KHL and had to stop. It just wasn`t working good enough. Like half the team out on an international game, and you still had a league game (which I still won). I recommend playing just NHL and not the other leagues. Expand
