Fresh out of Steam Early Access, Eastern Exorcist delivers fantastic visuals, exhilarating combat, and a fascinating story. However, bland level design dulls the experience a bit.

Eastern Exorcist is an enjoyable 2D hack 'n' slasher that feels slick and fluid, but doesn't do quite enough to stand out from the crowd.

The difficulty keeps going upwards as you progress and you have to only focus on one skill tree if you want to barely succeed.

Game felt like a chore , shame because the combat was pretty good but the difficulty setting and the stamina gauge really put me off this game for good.

Fun, challenging and stylish. Could have been longer and more complicated but worth a play on game pass.

Typical modern day game, Looks outta this world with amazing visuals, gameplay itself is pretty good, 2-d side scrolling hack and slash, withTypical modern day game, Looks outta this world with amazing visuals, gameplay itself is pretty good, 2-d side scrolling hack and slash, with a stamina bar to contend with.

However I'm about one hour in and I still feel like I'm in the tutorial section... Text boxes on screen, explaining how to suck eggs... Why do game devs feel the need to explain the basics of gaming while leaving the things that should be in the tutorials out???

Explaining how to jump with a highly intrusive text box isn't needed, but if you feel to reinvent the wheel and call 'health pick ups' something like 'zen blessings' then this is something I need (or would like to) know.

OVERALL. It's a good game, a really good one but PLEASE can I skip all the silly egg sucking lessons that games now have, they have ruined many a good game.
