    9/10 instead of 10 - for those weird solutions like QTE fight with Rais or weirder one with Tahir. However, compared to so many modern games DL1 will be 12/10.
    Chrome Engine 6 looks great even in 23` - and much better than c-in DL2.
    Story line - many say its too simple, but I say its believable; main Evil ones - surprise, Techland predicted WHO of 20-22 spot on (WHO=GRA obviously,    9/10 instead of 10 - for those weird solutions like QTE fight with Rais or weirder one with Tahir. However, compared to so many modern games DL1 will be 12/10.

    Jade and Rahim - simply amazing, grab not just your attention, but feelings as well... so does Brecken - wish there was more of him in game (i know he was originally one of player`s)
    Music - great and spot on in-game, 10/10
    After DL1 will be impossible to play Dead Island or Mirror`s Edge.
    Gameplay is good, but first-time night run to the tower (story mission) is simply unforgettable, and if you didn`t jump of the bridge (from the very top) - you didn`t play DL1.    … Expand

    It might make more sense to remake or remastered this game instead of making a second one. After playing the second game, I understood this much better. Even if it's not a remake, this game still needs a remastered version because the graphics are extremely outdated now. If it gets remastered, maybe they can make us forget the failure of the second game.

Да и главный антагонист пустышка, злой злодей совершает злое зло просто потому что. Еще и атмосфера Харана ужасная, все мочистое какое то

    This game is a masterpiece.
    First: it's Polish (im also Polish so that's a good thing)
    Second: The gameplay is really good, it's not just "beat the fuc up out of everything you see", you need to avoid some of the zombies, like "that zombie is the one I cannot deal with so i need to find a different way to my objective", plus the night is so scary, if you haven't played the game you don't    This game is a masterpiece.

    Second: The gameplay is really good, it's not just "beat the fuc up out of everything you see", you need to avoid some of the zombies, like "that zombie is the one I cannot deal with so i need to find a different way to my objective", plus the night is so scary, if you haven't played the game you don't know the feeling when you are walking around at night, spamming Q to see the volatiles around you, and you see on the minimap as one of the volatiles suddenly sees you - "OH F*CK NAH I AIN'T DOING THAT" and you just run for your life trying to find that "MOTHERF**KING SAFE ZONE WHERE IS THE SAFE ZONE F*CK"

    i love the physics of this game. Parkouring around the amazing city environments is a ton of fun and i like the idea of avoiding combat to escape zombies or enemies. Really great gameplay here. Story, not perfect but I do like everything else generally.

    No fast travel. Its just boring to travel 400 meters somewhere and then 400 back. I have better things to do than that.

    The Balance of this game is extremely bad. From the beggining you are nearly dying to everyone and you have to play like a little **** but then when you raid Rais you get a lottta guns and things change from there and the game become so easy. You can litterally 2 shot big zombie with police gun that has 200+ attack.

    The perks are boring i completed the game with like 4 side quests done and i wasnt even nearby to reaching maximum level from any of these 3. What does this game expect me to do? Play it for 30 more hours after i finished the game just to unlock a few perks????

    Also the Sewers are so fokin boring that its just disguisting to be there again and again. Thats onestly the worst part of the game after missing fast travel.

    Story is extremely bad - 5 years old child could make a better story if you would give him a few days to think about something.

    Boring sewers, Boring missions like that arena mission with boss, the university mission was extremely boring

    The issue is that game is so slowly drip feed to you its hard (for me atleast) to keep motivated to play more, weapons are awful and break after a quick scuffle with a zombie.

    I cannot stand RPG elements, I love RPGs (pokemon being the greatest one of all imo) but in most games now it means that you have any and all abilities stripped away until you've logged a week of gameplay to unlock the skills. In this game you have to unlock the ability to slide while running. Dead Island is far more fun and enjoyable.    … Expand

    This is the best non RPG open world game ever made. The atmospehere specially at nights amazing if there is a raining and storm its gettin x100 better. physic is just too satiated. Story is above an avarage for a zombie game. And in my opinion most decent story telling for a zombie game after The Last of Us.     People complaining about starting game with trash weapons but they probably only playing Asian games which is starting with 20 Meters long swords. You'll getting really epic weapons after few hours. You'll addict the game give a change for a short time.     i beated this game literally now, it's amazing how beautiful he is after 8 years, i wanted play this game a long time and im satisfied. A good stoey, good OST and good ameplay.

Na ogół nie przepadam za horrorami, ale ten tytuł jest na prawdę ciekawy i jeśli ktoś nie lubi się bać, to świetnie można się tu bawić chociażby systemem parkoura lub walką.     Played this in co-op and finished both the base game and the DLC. I had a lot of fun parkouring, killing zombies, and exploring the world. Decent story with decent characters and a good soundtrack.

    Overall it was worth all the time I spend on it.

    My favorite game ever. Outstanding story, sometimes when I zoned out I felt like I was in game for a moment. Best music soundtracks in comparison to the games I've played, they really have a unique unexplainable vibe. Something about the zombies was different from the rest zombie games... Parkour is also outstanding and insanely fun to do.
    Easily a 11/10 game.

    I rate the story of the games so this one will be the main story and the following enhanced edition will be followings story review. I hate Crane as a character i hate him with my guts, for the choices he makes mistakes that he do etc. But overall has a nice story with unsatisfying dialogs and delivery in general.

    Having played both Dying light 1 and Dying light 2, I can say that 1 is better than the original in almost every way. Despite being 8 years older than the sequel, the original somehow plays and feels better and smoother. If you want to play Dying Light, just play the original as it will be cheaper and more fun. I always want to play more Dying Light 1 but seldom want to play Dying Light 2.

    Scary, tense and immersive experience. The night really brings the best out of the game, not knowing whats around the corner make you feel very vulnerable especially when a chase can start at any moment and those monsters can really pack a punch.

    they are doing literally every single thing in their power to make the game less fun, less interactive, slower, more limited, and more frustrating. who decided that's what anyone wants in an open world title? as i play it becomes more and more obvious that the reason we are so restricted in our gameplay is because they simply did not want to build a fleshed out or interactive world. it might be kinda big, i can't tell, but there's nothing to do, and you will walk past objectives on a regular basis because the game just refuses to show you where you are supposed to go. that lack of direction appears to be an entirely unintentional bug, which is ridiculous given that navigation is such an essential part of the gameplay loop.

    pepper in some extremely boring obligatory cutscenes that you have to press B 10000 times in a row to skip, and oh, make sure to put all of the things you need to interact with to change your gear in the absolute furthest locations from each other possible. the game can't even decide whether im allowed to walk faster than 1mph half the time, and it's terribly unintuitive.

    everyone complains about the film grain effect: it's awful, it's a ridiculous waste of the graphical requirements to just wash everything out until there's no detail left. well guess what? they added an option to turn it off in the settings! guess what else? that setting does not do anything! bravo, you hacks.    … Expand

    10/10, they managed to do what others did not. You would not find anything like this. Any other zombie game is less complex than Dying Light

    The story was just a block of cheddar cheese with every cliché in the book sprinkled on top. The parkour was enjoyable at times but got boring fast. The constant reliance on melee attacks was annoying, I just haven't got time to spend hours running around a map spamming my 2 slashing animations.     Granted that the story is quite basic. But the game play is so, much, fun! The game gives you all the tools needed so that killing zombies and moving around the city feel amazing. The parkour is incredible only made better by the grappling hook you can obtain by upgrading your abilities. And the variety of weapons allows for a great experience.

    Overall i like gameplay mechanics, i would really love this game to be more user-friendly and it would be perfect, but that's how it is. Because of all troubles this game has i can't give it more than 5 out of 10. It's medium. Could be much better, it had HUGE potential :(    … Expand

    This game is all jank all the time. Changing the mouse sensitivity changes your system settings but NOT the in-game settings. Changing the resolution changes your monitor resolution to the minimum resolution possible, puts the game in the corner, and freezes your computer if you click on it. True Windows Vista quality programming.

    This game is about parkour and zombie massacre with lots of loot and crafting. Very enjoyable in coop mode, but little boring playing alone. I recommend playing with friends.

    Паркур, открытый мир плюс зомби. Если вас радуют эти три характристики, то смело играйте - город очень большой , побегать-попрыгать есть где. Плюс бегущие за тобой совсем неглупые зомбаки и редкие безопасные зоны с чекопойнтами добавляют адреналина. Самое интересное наступает ночью, когда увеличивается множитель опыта и можно найти самый интересный лут и ... на охоту выходят НОЧНЫЕПаркур, открытый мир плюс зомби. Если вас радуют эти три характристики, то смело играйте - город очень большой , побегать-попрыгать есть где. Плюс бегущие за тобой совсем неглупые зомбаки и редкие безопасные зоны с чекопойнтами добавляют адреналина. Самое интересное наступает ночью, когда увеличивается множитель опыта и можно найти самый интересный лут и ... на охоту выходят НОЧНЫЕ СТАЛКЕРЫ... Они прекрасно бегают за героем по крышам, трубам, находят почти везде и убивают за пару ударов. Это вам не Assasin`s Creed, где от любой стражи элементарно уйти по крышам, попивая чай. В игре не самый интересный сюжет, но много побочных квестов интересных, мрачных локаций для исследования, испытаний в духе "пробейся через толпу зомби к выходу за 30 секунд" или "обгони другого паркурщика" и , конечно же, орды различных зомби. Я не фанат зомбаков, но игра вполне неплоха.… Expand

    Great game, one of a kind. Almost a masterpiece for its time. I regret not passing it in the year of release. The variety of zombies, weapons and side quests was a bit lacking, but otherwise the game is excellent. I recommend passing. Solid 8/10.

    Если бы мне кто-то сказал что я потрачу на эту игру почти 70ч, я бы не поверил!
    Понравилось все, хотя мне сначала не давался паркур, зато потом я понял что какое интерактивное окружение благодаря ему. Да и боюсь я высоты, а тут столько высоких мест) Мне понравилась побеждать свои страхи!

    +Рецептов в игре очень много ( так как я купил платинум эдишен мб из-за этого у меня было открыто много рецептов с самого начала)
    +Сюжет кидает нас в различные ситуации.
    ++Большой плюс это кооператив на 4 человек. Проходится бодро и с весельем
    +Атмосфера локального зомби апокалипсиса передана по моему мнению отлично!
    +Так же ночи в этой игре настолько опасны, настолько же прекрасны, а еще тут присутствует смена погоды.
    +Последняя миссия заставила попарится) Злодей не хотел помирать с первой попытки)

Сюжет достойный, не чувствуется скучным, хоть и геймплейно всё сводитя к приди, собери, повзаимодействуй, спаси, убей и тд, но подаётся всё так хорошо, что ты даже не обращаешь на это внимание, ну и к тому же РУБКА ЗОМБИ ААХХАХАХАХАХХА РЕЗНЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯЯ P.S.: неНевероятно зрелищная и залипательная игра.     I don’t know why, but this game makes me want to play it, even the plot is not very ostentatious, DLC is normal in terms of character and weapon customization. "DLC The Following" is really cool, although it raises a lot of questions. soundtrack thanks a lot

Забыть обещанный релиз на пастгене (при том что игра не какой-нибудь графический шедевр, на первый взгляд это вполне реализуемо), забыть трушный экспириенс хоррора на выживание (в ночное время имеется ввиду и отсылаю к тому каким посмешищем по итогу стали найтхантеры на релизе в сравнении с трейлерами)... Похвально наличие коопа (с другом игра прям подрасцветает и играется бодрее), неплохие квесты и долгосрочная поддержка проекта чуть ли не с релиза (ивенты, баги, фиксы, а также достойнейшие дополнение The Following).     Podría decirse que Dying Light es una continuación de Dead Island. No en cuanto a historia, ni mucho menos. Pero sí en cuanto a la idea del juego de zombies en primera persona en un mundo abierto con elementos RPG. Dying Light es Dead Island perfeccionado en su jugabilidad. Se mejoran cosas como el desplazamiento (parkour, en cuanto lo vas dominando es una gozada), el crafteo de objetos y armas que ahora podemos realizar sobre la marcha teniendo los materiales, etc...

    El juego está lleno de contenido para explorar. Zonas de cuarentena, que son como mazmorras donde meterse a investigar y conseguir recursos y equipamiento de calidad. Misiones secundarias a dolor, etc.... El aspecto gráfico es inmejorable y el rendimiento, en un pc como el mío de gama media con unos añitos encima es perfecto, ni una vez se me ha colgado o ha tenido bajadas de frames.

    Como aspectos negativos..... quizás la no inclusión de un mecanismo de viaje rápido entre zonas seguras. Hay veces que patearse el mapa de un extremo a otro puede ser tedioso. La historia, ojo, no es un aspecto negativo en si, pero me pareció algo manida y al perder el humor negro de dead island es un meh.... te importa menos, pasa a ser un vehículo para hacer las cosas que haces, sin más.

    En conclusión si te molan los RPG en primera persona en mundo abierto, es un gran juego. Te va a dar unas 30 o 40 horas de partida fácil en su versión estándar. Recomendado    … Expand

    Althought the PS5 port is just terrible to play with on a 4k TV. I gave it the chance on my pc and I´m really enjoying it. Its not the continaution I expacted, but I´m not disapointed either.

    Played it in 2021, so 6 years after it's release and i loved it ! There's just so much to do in this game you quickly get used to the interface and ready to run around like a ninja. Energetic game-play with some challenging passage, a cool story, nothing bad to say about it really. Some minor bug with the completion 100% but in the end the game lasted me more than 140 hours so definitelyPlayed it in 2021, so 6 years after it's release and i loved it ! There's just so much to do in this game you quickly get used to the interface and ready to run around like a ninja.     There‘s so much to do, it doesn’t get boring. The Graphics are phenomenal and aged really good for a game released in 2015. The Story is well written too and the side quests have a good depth with cutscenes, unexpected plottwists and good but short character building. Nice and many features!

    Played both the game and dlc and I LOVE IT, is better then the second game even, the things i dont like is that the weapons break too fast and that you dont get a parachute or glider

Crafting aspect is fine but I lacked the option to craft multiple molotovs or grenades at once...     After reading hundreds of reviews I decided to buy this game. I never really liked stories and games that involved zombies. But I decided to give it a try.

    Initially the game was fun, but as time went on, I found it monotonous and boring. I focused on the main story to finish the game as quickly as possible. It's not a horrible game, but it didn't feel the same as the other players.

    I watched countless reviews before purchasing dying light... Every recent review was optimistic and almost everyone was shure that game aged pretty well. But in my opinion this game is very bad... Plot of the main story is kinda interesting but the gameplay, dialogs and cut scenes are so poor and badly designed... I couldn't even stand any side mission... I loved first mirrors edge gameI watched countless reviews before purchasing dying light... First 3 hours were fun, but after first sight I started to see bigger picture. If you thing you like parkour and zombies then head without any doubts straight to dying light 2 it's more modern and better designed overall. This game does not aged well at all. The graphics hold up easily in 2022 and the sheer number of zombies is impressive af.     I cannot explain the amount of fun I had with Dying Light's gameplay, but it seems a lot like many other games. I love the parkour aspect and it is a different form of traversing your way around the world and, not only that, Dying Light has incredible zombies that can definitely be annoying at some points in time.     Main issues: DLC with village has separated save slots and start game options - its little chaotic. Grappling hook - has little too wrong physics but its ok.     I've played through the main story and did all the side quests in the main game. Personally I think the plot was weak as well as the characters. Nothing in it stood out to me. It was either pretty generic and bad at times.

    Side quests however were pretty interesting and while most of them were fetch quests their premises and stories they've told were immersing and thrilling, But the most fun I've had surprisingly was from going to those quests and just traversing the world.

    Core gameplay which is melee, parkour and crafting all come together to create a gameplay loop unique to this game and one that I've not seen anyone try to replicate. It's absurd how much time I've spent just fighting zombies on the street without any particular reason. The amount of things you can do with parkour moves, melee weapons and physics of zombies is tremendous and it keeps me coming back to it.

    Progression is another part of the loop. Every single point you gain feels earned and upgrades the game allows you for are almost never just stats up. They allow you to do new things with your kit of weapons or parkour moves. You won't see upgrades that are just pure stats up. That's why progression in this game feels so meaningful.

    The map of the core game is split into 2 sections. One of them is slums which is a starting area. There's a bit of verticality there but mostly it's just mixes of different terrains without much to it.
    However 2nd area which is sector zero or old town is much better. That is because there's an actual structure to it with high buildings and street levels. For me moving through sector zero felt a lot more freely than through slums. I could sense a rhythm in it's design which perfectly crowned the gameplay.

    The Following is a dlc which contains a completely new map and as the title suggests is a follow up to events that happend in the core gameplay.

    I think this time around the story is a lot centralized and knows what it wants to be about. The proggression of the story happens through system similiar to FarCry 5 where to advance you have to complete certain objectives which then grant you points towards next main story missions. A lot of people dislike this system I personally don't mind it as much.

    For me the game under utilizes it's feature that made me invested in it the first place which is the gameplay loop. They crafted an interesting however huge map and to compensate for that you are given a vehicle - a buggy. This undermines the foundation the game has built originally. Personally I see the addition of the buggy and the size of the map as the biggest flows of the dlc. Some however may like it and see it as a great addtion.

    The buggy has it's own skill tree which allows you for all kinds of upgrades to it. From better speed to UV lights which allow for easier drives at night.
    Zombies feel more aggressive in this game and there also not as spreaded around the map as they were in Harran. They are condensed in the areas which were very populated before like a small town or fields around the farms. It adds to immersion.

    One more con I have is with how the game feels a lot more like a Ubisoft open world. The game constantly bombards you with new activities and new live events for you to chase. It feels a lot more forced and while I know I said that I don't mind the system of main progression it feels like it forced upon devs to deliver more rather than better.

    Overall I sadly think dlc while delivering in small portions more of Dying Light feels a lot more like a different game with mechanics of previous game. Some may find it more enjoyable and like it a lot more than I do.

    The base game is 9/10 for me but The Following is around 6 or 7/10 so the overall package is an 8/10. I'd recommend it to anyone interested in it.    … Expand

The game has no bugs, in general, the game is very well developed at the time of 2021. The plot, missions are also very interesting.     I really can't get into this game as hard as I try... It feels soulless and they tried to go for to much at once. The game borderlines on collect-a-thon and entirely fetch quest based tasks, The controls are absolutely horrible unless using a controller, The fighting is stiff and hollow and all of it breaks down to holding down a button and not doing much beyond that unless you want to useI really can't get into this game as hard as I try...     Don't let the Dead Island affiliation sway you one way or the other, Dying Light is its own game and it's rightfully fun, but it's not something that is Game of the Year material to me. If you like zombie games and open world games then this is worth the pickup, but otherwise I'd skip it until it goes on sale, because it's still a really fun game no matter how you dice it.

    If you can get past the clunky storytelling and the repetitive missions, you might a diamond in the rough that really empowers you to revel in the design aspects of its zombie-infested sandbox.
