    Having played both Dying light 1 and Dying light 2, I can say that 1 is better than the original in almost every way. Despite being 8 years older than the sequel, the original somehow plays and feels better and smoother. If you want to play Dying Light, just play the original as it will be cheaper and more fun. I always want to play more Dying Light 1 but seldom want to play Dying Light 2.

    Granted that the story is quite basic. But the game play is so, much, fun! The game gives you all the tools needed so that killing zombies and moving around the city feel amazing. The parkour is incredible only made better by the grappling hook you can obtain by upgrading your abilities. And the variety of weapons allows for a great experience.

    Played this in co-op and finished both the base game and the DLC. I had a lot of fun parkouring, killing zombies, and exploring the world. Decent story with decent characters and a good soundtrack.

    Overall it was worth all the time I spend on it.

    even there is sooo many zombie games dying light is realy remarkable
    such as the story and the world it is just amazing

    I rate the story of the games so this one will be the main story and the following enhanced edition will be followings story review. I hate Crane as a character i hate him with my guts, for the choices he makes mistakes that he do etc. But overall has a nice story with unsatisfying dialogs and delivery in general.

    My favorite game ever. Outstanding story, sometimes when I zoned out I felt like I was in game for a moment. Best music soundtracks in comparison to the games I've played, they really have a unique unexplainable vibe. Something about the zombies was different from the rest zombie games... Parkour is also outstanding and insanely fun to do.
    Easily a 11/10 game.

    The best zombie apocalypse game to this day. Fun parkour, good impact of melee weapons and not a bad shooter if you are into that.

    Gra, która wywołała u mnie strach już po krótkim czasie od rozpoczęcia. Niezwykle klimatyczny survival o dynamicznej rozgrywce, która mocno przypadła mi do gustu. Na ogół nie przepadam za horrorami, ale ten tytuł jest na prawdę ciekawy i jeśli ktoś nie lubi się bać, to świetnie można się tu bawić chociażby systemem parkoura lub walką. Eksploracja działa na spoko poziomie i czasami musiałemGra, która wywołała u mnie strach już po krótkim czasie od rozpoczęcia. Niezwykle klimatyczny survival o dynamicznej rozgrywce, która mocno przypadła mi do gustu. Na ogół nie przepadam za horrorami, ale ten tytuł jest na prawdę ciekawy i jeśli ktoś nie lubi się bać, to świetnie można się tu bawić chociażby systemem parkoura lub walką. Eksploracja działa na spoko poziomie i czasami musiałem się nieźle postarać, żeby przetrwać. Niezła historia, pewnie jest dużo lepsza, lecz ja to średnio jestem zajarany w historie o apokalipsie zombie. Polecam dla tych co nie grali.… Expand

    This is the best non RPG open world game ever made. The atmospehere specially at nights amazing if there is a raining and storm its gettin x100 better. physic is just too satiated. Story is above an avarage for a zombie game. And in my opinion most decent story telling for a zombie game after The Last of Us. Every side character in city is somehow lunatic which is perfect fit the world.This is the best non RPG open world game ever made.     People complaining about starting game with trash weapons but they probably only playing Asian games which is starting with 20 Meters long swords. You'll getting really epic weapons after few hours. You'll addict the game give a change for a short time. Unlike that games with paperish mechanics and garbage ragdoll mechanics this game is hella fun for action. You can feel any hit, drop, fell and climbing. Best Arpg ever made.    … Expand

    Don't let the Dead Island affiliation sway you one way or the other, Dying Light is its own game and it's rightfully fun, but it's not something that is Game of the Year material to me. If you like zombie games and open world games then this is worth the pickup, but otherwise I'd skip it until it goes on sale, because it's still a really fun game no matter how you dice it.

    If you can get past the clunky storytelling and the repetitive missions, you might a diamond in the rough that really empowers you to revel in the design aspects of its zombie-infested sandbox.
