HenryT.Aug 10, 2006Don't let 'reissue' merchants bank on your lack of imagination. Buy something else. It's a mediocre all been done before bore feast. No I haven't bought the game but I've played it and struggled to stay awake. Anyone out there with an original idea for a game? I'm willing to try anything other than 'Whatever No. 2, 3 and 4'.

DavidS.Aug 6, 2006Dungeon Siege 2 was a great hack-and-slash dungeon crawl, and this expansion gives you more it. If you enjoy a good dungeon brawl, you'll enjoy the expansion. I did.

DummyNoobAug 26, 2007the expansion destroed the game because now ppl can invert the single players characters in the 39th lvls to the multiplayers gaming & creat gold AND VERY VERY WORTH ITEMS + in the expension there was barely bags fixing so that players can still wear 2handed sowrd with shield wich is very poor.

JoeB.Aug 8, 2007This expansion did a great job of continuing the story set out in DSII. It had many much needed improvements and was very enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Broken World does offer everything an expansion should, after all: new game elements, new characters, tons of content, and fan-suggested tweaks. But, somehow, it still isn't all that much fun. The only conclusion to draw from this evidence is that the base game isn't very compelling in and of itself.
-
Broken World brings a couple of welcome new features to an already good game, but the short campaign and lack of compelling content will leave you feeling disappointed.
-
If you really crave more of that Dungeon Siege II action, you'll definitely find it in Broken World. The problem is, you won't find enough of it to last you more than two or three days.
