Jul 14, 2011By far the best FPS I have played in a long time. People saying that DNF is worse than cookie cutter FPS like MW, Halo, CoD and fear can blow it out there ass.
So far there are only two things that this game has picked up that I donâ -

Jul 2, 2011Don't waste your money, this game is seriously outdated, the game play is stodgy, the graphics are sub par, the maps are extremely boring, this game might have been cool if it was released 8 years ago, definitely a major step back compared to the original Duke Nukem, very disappointed.

Jul 4, 2011This game was obviously rushed out the door and lacks any kind of depth or attention to detail. The game is the living embodiment of linear and is 10 years behind the times as far as game play is concerned. It's one saving grace is the comedy but all the laughs in the world can't keep me awake while running through a hamster tube maze of boredom.

Aug 13, 2011bad and dull game. glitchy. Don't buy it. This is just a money-making game of some very untalented and uninspired game developers. Rest in peace, duke. Rest in peace.

Nov 2, 2011Played for about 20 minutes and stopped. Really not worth the money. HORRIBLE gameplay, graphics are average. Was hyped up way too much and just really failed to deliver on all areas. Give this a skip

Oct 3, 2011You could say many bad things about this game. Outdated graphics, excessive loading times, no save, etc., but I actually like the game. What I like about it is the gameplay. It is like Half-Life 2 in many ways. It took me back to the times when I enjoyed HL2 so much. Bosses fights can be frustrating, but they can be beaten. Donâ

Oct 27, 2011I bought this game for $10. For a $10 game, it's worth a 7. There's quite a bit of variance in the scenery and the enemies are fun enough. You can actually hold 4 weapons, not 2, by picking "expanded inventory" in options.

Jul 17, 2012It's true, the gamplay is not terrible.
Purpose we laugh, just for that I would put 9 because it's been a game I had not done as much fun.
If you're a fan of humor you'll love! -

Jul 13, 2013I thought this was actually a very bad game considering the reviews but I liked it lot (except for end bosses, but I don't like those in any game). It has much of the same humor as the old duke3d game but pretty good graphics. Not much to say about game play, like any FPS you shoot, blow etc. through a level and at the end there is the end boss.

Nov 15, 2013I really liked this game. Indicated for everybody that play a classic Duke Nukem. The variety of every level is very good. But the level 3 that Duke is shotting in aliens that try leave yours spaceships is amazing.

Jun 15, 2011Objectively a poor game, but still fun nonetheless - especially for those who have been waiting to revel in the memories of Duke 3D. It's graphics are not up to par, and it certainly can't justify 15 years of development, but it's chauvinism and brainless fun oozes Duke-ness - and that's what we've been missing for 15 years. Not for the jaded or politically correct.

Sep 12, 2011Duke Nukem Forever would be quite decent if one felt entirely certain it's intended purely as a self-parody. As is, it doesn't do the expectations, the buyer or the Duke justice – oh, had he rather remained a vaporware legend!

PC Gamer UKAug 6, 2011Petty, nasty and anachronistic. Duke is only relevant as a warning from the past. Avoid these mistakes, developers. [Aug 2011, p.76]

Aug 1, 2011Bottom line: Duke Nukem Forever was not worth the 15-year wait, nor is it worth paying the full $50. However, I cannot deny that I thought it was both fun and funny, which at the end of the day is what this franchise is all about.
