Jul 13, 2011Got this is the Steam "Summer Camp" sale for 50% off. I only played the campaign and it was too funny. I never played a Duke game before but this guy is crude, sexist and a binge drinker! Serious this game will make your stomach hurt! I wouldn't say it is worth full price but if it is a sale then it is.

Jun 15, 2011This game brings it. I sense conspiracy with the so called 'professional' reviewers, and maybe their mommies should take away their xbox360's for a week to punish them (most clearly arent PC gamers) . On PC, it plays sweet, runs well and is packed with awesome dukiness!

Jun 25, 2011Despite the poor reviews, I'm celebrating the delayed-by-14-years release of Duke Nukem Forever. IMHO, the game is a riot and the most fun I've had with a FPS in a long time. Welcome back Duke!

Jun 17, 2011I can understand the criticism but I've always been a Duke fan and this game has this nostalgic feeling to it so I love it. If this was some random game out of Russia and didn't have Duke in it, I'd probably say it sucks too. If you are not a fan of Duke or if you were born in the Call of Duty/Halo generation, you probably won't want to pay full price for it.

Jun 14, 2011Old school style perfect for somebody that gets bored with mindless cod that is hacked up. I can make first every time in a game like cod but getting my ass kicked a little on some parts makes duke worth it. Plus the humor, works for me in a PC skinny jean world, I will take this any day. The graphics aren't amazing but they work for the game.

Jun 14, 2011This game is a blast despite its shortcomings of a two weapon limit, autoregen health, and linear level design. It genuinely feels like I'm playing a DUKE NUKEM game again.

Jul 6, 2011+10 years in the making and the only thing the Developers think of doing are sexual and stereotypical portrayals of women. It feels like like thats the only thing the Developers really focused on to be honest. Since this game got a pretty big following I'm assuming the phrase 'sex sells' is in work here. Stay away from this game.

Sep 12, 2011Duke Nukem Forever would be quite decent if one felt entirely certain it's intended purely as a self-parody. As is, it doesn't do the expectations, the buyer or the Duke justice – oh, had he rather remained a vaporware legend!

PC Gamer UKAug 6, 2011Petty, nasty and anachronistic. Duke is only relevant as a warning from the past. Avoid these mistakes, developers. [Aug 2011, p.76]

Aug 1, 2011Bottom line: Duke Nukem Forever was not worth the 15-year wait, nor is it worth paying the full $50. However, I cannot deny that I thought it was both fun and funny, which at the end of the day is what this franchise is all about.
