The game is fun and cute, although I still haven't completed it I can safely say that it's worth playing.

However, when four out of five people of the team specify their pronouns on twitter, you know that the game is going to get that politically correct touch that's just out of place. I had the feeling this had to be the case playing the game, seeing who's behind the project confirmed

Dropsy isn't an amazing point-and-click, but it's clever and it's weird and it stands out—both artistically and thematically. I'm impressed with the game and doubly impressed with the amount of weird mysteries hidden below the surface. Expect to spend four or five hours actually playing and then another hour reading weird theories afterward.

To be honest I do not understand why people are delighted with Dropsy. It’s an average representative of the old school of point’n’clicks and its story did not blow me away either. [12/2015, p.56]

The one-of-a-kind Dropsy’s heart is absolutely in the right place, but it’s tough to fully embrace a game with so much unwelcome filler.
