  1. 74
It's simplistic and addictive. Take it like this and enjoy it.
  2. 70
An ambitious, overly flawed attempt to revitalize a true gaming milestone.
  3. AceGamez

It's never going to win any awards for best game but it's fun while it lasts and you can't put a price tag on those nostalgic twinges you get whilst playing it.
  4. The nostalgia lasts about as long as DL3D does; just a few hours.
  5. Its limited use of cel-shaded graphics, which seemed revolutionary when Dragon's Lair 3D was first revealed two years ago, is now thoroughly outdated, as is its simplistic, puzzle-based gameplay.

It's move to 3D makes for an attractive, enjoyable, and relatively easy game, at least until everything comes to a screeching halt during the awful boss battles. [Feb 2003, p.79]
  7. Terrible control issues and seemingly endless jumping puzzles.
