Graphics feel like polished last gen however, the story is passable and the characters are most likely the best part of the game (although nothing to write home about). As in any RPG it's the supporting cast that makes the game come to life as the main character in Dragon Age is just awful. Bonus points for being a long story that doesn't drag on or over stay its welcome.

It was boring as hell. It had way too many repetitive battles without any challenge even on hardest level, while the end of the game is simply too hard. I was bored at the end of the game so I changed the diff level...

The whole story is just a usual RPG nothing special. Yes, the characters are not so bad but the rest of the game is simply average or nothing special. I guess its

Yes, the characters are not so bad but the rest of the game is simply average or nothing special. I guess its graphics was nice in early 2010s but looking today's eyes I can say the game not aged well and not because of its graphics.

yes, its music also nice but in 2000s this is just the min. requirement from an RPG...

I could not recommend for anybody to play. You can spend your free time better. I would play any day Gothic II then this if I had to select. Just after some weeks I cannot recall the name of any characters except Alistair. This was so "deep" the game. While I still remember everybody from Gothic II, after 15 years...

A decent game full of bugs and crashes, sound issues, and generic story. The combat is fun but lacks any diversity. Alot of content tho all the dlc was worse than the original game.

Be prepared for a very long game. I spent 77 hours in this whole package (Origins, Awakening, and DLC) with a moderate amount of side quests and looting. The characters are all decent to great and the world is very fleshed out. Combat took me a bit to get my head around but it incredibly varied and allows for much personalization down the road. The characters are all decent to great and the world is very fleshed out. Combat took me a bit to get my head around but it incredibly varied and allows for much personalization down the road. The main issue is that everything is so big or time consuming in a world that, while fleshed out, is not incredibly interesting so about half way through the game felt fairly tedious even after I got a handle on the combat. Awakening does a lot better job of expanding upon and making a few gameplay systems player friendly while also introducing a different cast of great characters, enemies and missions but it is quite short for what one might want. My favorite DLC is Witch Hunt which combines the improvements of Awakening with a more fleshed out scope of one mission but also feels disconnected from the main game(s)... like all the other DLC. It just does not feel as good if there is not some coherent story connecting it all and to that I offer that although this game offers a lot of "play time" it may not be worth playing unless you intend to get invested in the rest of the Dragon Age universe.
