Great collection of all content for this game at a very reasonable price.

Like other Bioware Games, Dragon Age is a mix of story telling and action segments. The length of gameplay potential is huge with an engaging main story and plenty of interesting side stories to pursue.

Well, what can be said, a lot of content given at once, which doesn't have such a big price. Probably one of EA's greatest ideas. Too bad they rarely do things like this anymore.

Graphics feel like polished last gen however, the story is passable and the characters are most likely the best part of the game (although nothing to write home about). As in any RPG it's the supporting cast that makes the game come to life as the main character in Dragon Age is just awful. Bonus points for being a long story that doesn't drag on or over stay its welcome.

It was boring as hell. It had way too many repetitive battles without any challenge even on hardest level, while the end of the game is simply too hard. I was bored at the end of the game so I changed the diff level...

The whole story is just a usual RPG nothing special. Yes, the characters are not so bad but the rest of the game is simply average or nothing special. I guess its

Yes, the characters are not so bad but the rest of the game is simply average or nothing special. I guess its graphics was nice in early 2010s but looking today's eyes I can say the game not aged well and not because of its graphics.

yes, its music also nice but in 2000s this is just the min. requirement from an RPG...

I could not recommend for anybody to play. You can spend your free time better. I would play any day Gothic II then this if I had to select. Just after some weeks I cannot recall the name of any characters except Alistair. This was so "deep" the game. While I still remember everybody from Gothic II, after 15 years...

A decent game full of bugs and crashes, sound issues, and generic story. The combat is fun but lacks any diversity. Alot of content tho all the dlc was worse than the original game.

I bought this game during Steam Sale and let me tell you, it was well worth the money. Not only do you get a 50+ hours story, but around 6 DLCs and an add-on campaign as well.

That's not all though, as this game is very well done in all aspects, the combat is enjoyable, the world has ideal size and is not too big and not too small, the character interactions among party members are amazing (and include romance options and sex), the story is good (even though not that original) and the music is okay as well. There are tons of dialogue choices and ways to progress through the game, even though there are not that many areas, you are basically free to visit them in whatever order you like. There are even six different beginnings depending on which race and profession you choose.
The best part of the game for me was a trip to the Fade dungeon which was basically like playing a 3D adventure game, a nice change of game play for a little bit.

    Now for some negatives:
The DLCs are mostly not that entertaining, unfortunately, but that was to be expected.
The story is not very original.
Not all party memebers are equally entertaining, I only like 1/2 of them.
It may get a little repetitive in some longer dungeons and there is one part of the main story, Orzammar, that felt way too dragged out, as it was a neverending stream of caves full of enemies.
I was not a fan of the random encounters with enemies on the world map

The biggest negative of the whole game:
In Silverite Mine, my game got bugged and I lost all of my equipment on the main character! Had to search for fixes. Watch out for this! Don't save your game in Silverite Mine!

The ultimate packages has a few nice additions to the base game. The standalone single short story add-ons and the Awakenings just felt really anticlimactic after the epic grandiose base game.

Nice art sytle, but dated visuals that need a modders touch. Anyone who has played KotOR series will have a good idea what they are getting. As in fun party based gameplay, cool story, likeable

Be prepared for a very long game. I spent 77 hours in this whole package (Origins, Awakening, and DLC) with a moderate amount of side quests and looting. The characters are all decent to great and the world is very fleshed out. Combat took me a bit to get my head around but it incredibly varied and allows for much personalization down the road. The main issue is that everything is so big or time consuming in a world that, while fleshed out, is not incredibly interesting so about half way through the game felt fairly tedious even after I got a handle on the combat. Awakening does a lot better job of expanding upon and making a few gameplay systems player friendly while also introducing a different cast of great characters, enemies and missions but it is quite short for what one might want. My favorite DLC is Witch Hunt which combines the improvements of Awakening with a more fleshed out scope of one mission but also feels disconnected from the main game(s)... like all the other DLC. It just does not feel as good if there is not some coherent story connecting it all and to that I offer that although this game offers a lot of "play time" it may not be worth playing unless you intend to get invested in the rest of the Dragon Age universe.
