Feb 6, 2020I kind of liked this DLC because our friends actually talk to each other while descending into the depths. Also, the story is more exciting than in the main game. Nevertheless, also the DLCs suffers a bit from the generel boringness of the whole DA:I game. I gave the main game a 6, this DLC is a 7.
15 Euros is too much, I bought the whole GOTY for 8 Euros!

Oct 22, 2015With a running time between 4-6 hours, The Descent is one of the strongest pieces of post game content Bioware has ever offered. Through a good story and inspired environmental choices, Dragon Age‘s Deep Roads becomes the dark and deadly place the Dwarves of Orzammar always speak of.

Aug 25, 2015Though The Descent has the foundation of a strong side campaign, the characters aren't memorable enough and the story finishes too loosely to leave a lasting impression. Perhaps if it came coupled with a fully reimagined Orzammar or characters who have some permanence, it would have been an adventure that wasn't as closed off and didn't have an awkward aftertaste.

Aug 25, 2015Too brief and inconsequential to live up to expectations. One for Dragon Age lore obsessives and ardent completionists.
