    Me agrada el Dota 2 porque hace a diferencia de otros mobas este hace pensar ,y ademas por la dificultad y gran gamma de personajes que se pueden utilizar.

    Extremely Competitive, great game imo, started few months back already clocked 1500+hours. No hero feels imba, although updates in hero and map wise has been slow

    I put 10 because I believe that the tap will make the event soon!
    I'm waiting like everyone's Event. We understand that they want to remove all the bugs and to have passed all the great tournaments. But still we want all sorts of goodies.

    Probably the deepest and most meaningful pvp experience you can have in an online game. From Hero choices, to lanes and item selections, this game has the possibilities of chess wrapped around a ridiculously skilled rts game.

    Still learning and getting better 1000 hours in.

    Probably the best game in MOBA genre, though skill curve needed to play is a bit steep (but you can play against bots to learn the game) and community sometimes can be very toxic, so beware.

    The game is somewhat ok, the main issue is the company who is developing it. There is ABSOLUTELY 0 communication between the developers and the community. There are currently two forum in which you have to post if you want to discuss about dota: one is the developer forum and one is the old wc3 dota forum. The developer forum is meant ONLY for bugs in DOTA2, the wc3 forum is instead forThe game is somewhat ok, the main issue is the company who is developing it. The wc3 forum is clearly inappropriate to hold a discussion about dota 2. It's as if the official League of Legends forum was inside the Heroes of Newerth forum, there is no reason to split this way the people who like the game. 99.999% of the answers you get from the wc3 forum are from other community members. That is right, there is currently no one WORKING on dota 2 answering your question. Icefrog the person who is balancing the game hasn't answered or talked to the community in the last 2 or three years. Valve developers are even worse. Forget about knowing if there will be a patch soon, NONE OF THE 300 VALVE DEVELOPERS WILL ANSWER TO THIS SIMPLE QUESTION, they prefer to keep their fan waiting for hours as if this wouldn't make them angry. In other Dota like games the developers always say that the community must be keep clean from the toxicity. In DOTA2 I say that the developers are the most TOXIC part of the game.… Expand

    Best game ever. Literally. 6 years and i still play everyday. Every single time I play, every game is different. No 2 games are ever the same. Can't praise it enough

    This is one of the deepest and best games I've ever played, the balancing is done regularly, the graphics are awesome and so on. If u ever wanted to play a MOBA u should really play this game because it out-classes every other game in it's genre!

    One of the best games I've ever played, it's a shame that that people are bombing the page with bad reviews. The critic metascore is much more accurate. It's a shame that most MOBA's are plagued with these terrible people.

    I played a lot of Valve games before this one, and to be honest I played LoL before this and I didn't like it at all. I didn't even know this existed until its second year. And I must say I have gained more out of this game than any other. Compared to other games, this game has hours, months, and for many, years of play without losing value.     This is an amazing game that's a blast to play with friends. It's always challenging, and has a very high skill cap, so there's always room to learn and grow. It also has one of the best competitive scenes out there right now. The best feature by far is having one of the greatest minds in game design and balance at the helm, guiding the metagame to be fresh and fun.

    Very addictive, and not pay to win. Valve had, instead of using the time to give diretide, improved the game very much. Haters hate the game due to the lack of diretide, but I personally think that the time had been spent correctly on improving the game.

    That isn't criticism. Dota 2 is a Decent Game, and really fits inside a nice theme and feel.

    -Then theres the pudge pickers which are most often the worst players in dota 2. They cant hook they feed andddddd if their good well u wont see good pudge pickers often
    -THE LAGGERS they will most often pick a carry or a mid hero and suck at it before they tell u the truth that their lagging
    -The people who find the game boring but still play it to tell other people its boring... well these people just belong in hell
    The secret to not playing wif idiots is to not be one urself orrr u can just have a party of 5 people
    well besides the idiots in matchmaking they often pair people like myself who have won around 300+ games with people which have 5 wins. And guess wut the everybody on the enemy side have OVER 600+ wins while im stuck with idiots who picks only carries and pudge.
    and it seems that if im playing alone in pubs people cant seem to talk english becos its too hard.
    other than the matchmaking system being this game offers a lot of fun if u play wif friends.

    I have to say it's a pretty good game. Valve really delivered about as I would have expected based on playing several of their other titles. The graphics settings make it so that you can play the game on a rather sub-par computer (although I still can't seem to make good use of my 144Hz). It's free, too, so pick it up and try it.     Fantastic game, really addicting, tons of features. Plus, all the heroes are free from the start. The only thing you pay for is cosmetics that only change the look of the characters, but the gameplay is completely unaffected by these cosmetics. Really fun game to play, especially with friends.

    Let me get it out straight away DotA 2 is probably the most fun and satisfaction I got in a multiplayer game.

    I'll just list everything great about this game:

    the aesthetics are great, the art and the graphics are gorgeous, the competition feel is big. The replay-ability of the game is infinite.

    Most importantly it's free, so just install Steam and install it as soon as possible.

    Best "MOBA" (ARTS actually,) game there is. So much better than LoL HoN, and Smite. This game actually requires skill which differs from LoL. It's constantly updated, And it's also free to play.

    It's hard from the beginning but when you mastered the basics. It'll turn out to be a fun game.

The reality is that the game is not a RTS where your APM and build order are vitally important, instead it is more like a FPS where    Dota 2 has a very addictive quality where you want to prove yourself better each game.     The heroes are individually simple but in a 5v5 format the interactions between the various heroes and items can make for interesting matches. You are not picking a hero like in an MMO, you are picking a hero that fits the situation based on the other heroes in the match.

    The game does have it's negatives.

    In particular the game is very hostile to new players or players who are just having a bad game. Due to the anonymity of the internet, the 4 other people who depend on you are not as reluctant to let their frustration show at the earliest provocation. I highly suggest any new player simply mute their team at the start of their first 100 matches. You will still see important information like pings but will not have to suffer their taunts for your mistakes.

    Another glaring flaw is highly controversial to the community. The game does not have a surrender option. Much of the vocal component of the community detest a surrender option. They claim such an option would result in people surrendering by default at the first sign of difficulty and would prevent the back and forth that is possible in a game. I consider this an idiotic notion as there are ways to give a surrender option when there is no reasonable expectation that a victory is possible. Without a surrender option, teams that secure a highly probable win (ie: Destroying one lane's barracks) do not play the rest of the game with the same intensity as before securing the win. The games last about 10-15 minutes after they have been decided due to a lack of urgency as the other team farms kills in your fountain, goes back to farm for some item they really want to own, or simply stands back and taunts you.    … Expand

I have played this game for years and there's always something about this game that just keeps bringing me back for more. It is beyond one of the best games that I will ever play and i would suggest this game to anyone.

    Ignore all the 0/10 for Diretide reviews, there was a miscommunication to how much people wanted it, it bandwagoned, and now there's 3,000 0/10 reviews now outdated after Valve released diretide a week after the start of things.

    Great game, lots of fun, and free. Takes a bit to get started with, but definitely worth it down the road. 10/10

    The reason there are so many downvotes is because of ONE mistake for the Halloween event. Ignore the selfish idiots who dropped this amazing game from over 9 down to 3.1 at the time.

    Diretide came later, so what? Its a free game, and one of the best of its Kind. But thats the DOTA community as you have to love them, always nagging and whining :P.
    Dont bother about those guys, it may be frustrating some times, but it will be worth it

    Have played dota 2 for about 1500 hours now and it is such a awesome game... Such a big variety of heroes, Items, Spells etc. Very hard to learn/master at first some hate from people when you do bad, But when you get past beginners stage it's really a blast to play... Defiantly recommend!

    Amazing, unique game. Only thing is there are just so much heroes its pretty hard to figure out which one is your favorite, the tutorial introduces you to a couple of them but there are alot more out there that players will miss on because they want to stick to the heroes they know.

    Amazing epic, fantastic game, ive spent hours playing this beauty, its everything i want in a game and more. Cant wait till TI4. It is a very difficult game to learn. Ive been playing for over 10 years and cant claim ive mastered it in any way. Its worth it though. Love this game!

    1 word perfection i started playing dota 1 like 4 years ago and stopped for a while but when dota 2 came out i regained my passion toward that game and got addicted back to it i'm still playing this awesome game and enjoying the actual features with hope that valve gives us more in the close future :D keep up the good work volvo

This was my first incursion in the genre and my first game went horribly bad, I got killed 21 times, got flamed, felt horrible... but I liked the graphics and the attention to detail all around (music, voice acting, gameplay). I knew I could do better if I learned a bit....and I tried again... Boy. The feeling of winning when you do is Glorious! So rewarding! It was just "I mayGreat game.     A game that has been refined for over 10 years as a mod for warcraft3 then ported to new light with the care and consideration that only valve can afford, always listening to the community and always refining their games no matter how old they get (e.g. TF2, Counter Strike).

    DotA couldn't have asked for a better developer to refine it.

    I give this game a 9.5, but it is closer to a 10 so I'll give it that. It is also to offset the idiots that think giving a game anything at or below a 3 is appropriate. It is a lot of fun and is the most complex MOBA out there in my opinion. However, I will stick to LoL for my more casual party games with friends, but Dota is a great hardcore game.

    Those without tough skin may want to seek elsewhere, as playing through your first 100 games without in some way being criticised or insulted is almost impossible due to Dota's highly competitive nature. But for those who can withstand criticism and are willing to invest time into the game are going to be rewarded by the amount of depth and playability that Dota 2 offers.    … Expand

    And this dichotomy is perhaps the best descriptor I can attach to Dota 2. It is frequently a game which occupies two opposite spaces simultaneously. It is the best game. It is also the worst game. No game has ever made me as miserable as Dota 2 has. But no game has made me feel so consistently rewarded for my time, and as consistently, wonderfully connected to the friends I play it with.
