Jul 14, 2023Dordogne is a warm, colorful game, able to send you back to your childhood years. It tells of two contrasting worlds, looking for similarities between them. The ending of the story doesn’t connect quite in the way it should, but the experience as a whole is deeply emotional and truly worth your time.

Jul 2, 2023Dordogne is a gentle masterpiece for the mind. Beautiful, dreamlike, moving. A marvel.

Jun 22, 2023Dordogne takes you on a stunning watercolor journey through the past and present of rural southern France. There isn’t anything much in the way of challenge, but it’s a charming interactive storybook that will remind you of the really important things in life.
-
Jun 21, 2023Dordogne‘s narrative doesn’t dive too deeply into darker topics, but hints of hard themes abound. The game’s final message boils down to: Take time to look around and be mindful of life. The sentiment permeates every moment of the short experience. It makes for a lovely, contemplative adventure players shouldn’t miss.

Aug 11, 2023Dordogne has a heartwarming story and stunning visuals. However, the mini-games may pose a challenge for players with tardy reflexes.
-
Jun 23, 2023Dordogne’s strengths lie within its storytelling, making it very easy to empathise and resonate with the protagonist’s journey. I definitely recommend this to any gamer out there wanting a relaxing but intriguing game experience.
-
Jun 13, 2023Dordogne is a good-looking narrative adventure that tells and extraordinarily ordinary familiar story, making you wonder about of all the time we waste far from our beloved ones.
-
Jun 22, 2023Dordogne is a beautiful and artistic game that takes me on a journey through the picturesque countryside of France with its unique art style. However, it leaves me with some regrets due to its mishandling of storytelling.
-
Aug 13, 2023This is a simple game, artfully told.

Jun 14, 2023It is better to know what to expect so as not to be disappointed: Dordogne is a pretty narrative story, which we would have liked a little more open. And the lovely art direction doesn't work for everything.
-
Jun 13, 2023For a self-described “narrative game,” Dordogne’s narrative isn’t all that compelling. Luckily, in games as in most mediums, narrative rarely has to do all the heavy lifting.

Jun 16, 2023As I mentioned at the start, Dordogne is not a taxing game, and it won't challenge you or make you think differently about the world around you. But it is a very sweet and tender coming of age tale that's the perfect little mini-break for such a busy time of year, and I enjoyed the three hours I spent gawping at its truly gorgeous watercolour scenery. It's well worth a pop on Game Pass if you have it, but even if you don't, you'll feel much better about yourself at the end of it than spending the same amount of money on the latest Marvel dross at the cinema - and it will no doubt stick longer in the memory, too.

Jun 22, 2023I guess if you like this art style it might work for you. I like interactive stories, but not this one.
