Isn´t necessary being an expert to enjoy the adventures of Dirk the knight because the idea of the game was created for any kind of player. The entire game is a cartoon movie where you have to control the hero's actions while watching it. It's a big challenge because some parts require memorizing button patterns if you want the protagonist to escape unscathed from some absurd situations (in my case at the begining dungeons). I wish they would make games like this today, but it's an artistic miracle that happens once every thousand years... Fortunately, there are compilations and remastered version for PC to enjoy it over and over. The second game of Dragon´s Lair called "Time Warp" is my favourite of the saga. How many hours I´ve spend playing it...? Expand

  1. Dragon's Lair HD is purely for old school arcade players that want to relive the glory days, it's a perfect rendering of the action and gameplay of the arcade game, but it could have been so much more.
  2. It's killer as nostalgia, somewhat crap as a game, and the surprising $50 price will put it out of the minds of all but the most passionate collectors.
  3. The graphics, the sound, and especially the gameplay simply haven’t withstood the passing years. A lobotomized bag lady wouldn’t find this fun, so why would even the most casual PC gamer?
