I'm not sure what the hype is around this game. Its and good RPG but it isn't the best in the genre. I played through the first island and thought "That was an interesting challenge but the game just offered more of the same time consuming combat and I lost interest.

A sequel of a well-received video game of 2015 takes you back to the Rivellon and the-all-too-well-known villains and good guys who want to save the world.

In general, if you are a fan of Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale games, you will be more than satisfied to dive into this fabulous world full of powerful sourcerers, lizard-men, dwarfs, humans, elves, undead, gods, and all the rest who were not that important to mention here.

The story is somewhat like a fairy tale but fortunately not that childish. If you are a fan of a "spoken RPG game" with no violence then this game is not for you. Fights are approximately 70% of this game, 20% goes to exploring and 10% for dialogues.

The game forces you to have a certain experience level before advancing further. You may try to progress the main story without the suggested level but it will probably be too difficult for a casual player. With no better option, you are forced to complete most of the side quests and gain experience whenever necessary, just to progress the main story further.

If you don't have something like 100 hours of time for playing this game, then I recommend you look for other title.

All in all, if you like isometric view, and are a fan of somewhat forgotten RPG games, then this game is definitely for you.

Non un fan dei combattimenti a turni, ma ben realizzato, sotto tutti i punti di vista

This is one of the highest rated and praised rpg games ever. I fear I do not share the general opinion, mostly because of the combat system . It seem like there is no role for pure fighters and magic is overwhelmingly important. I am a great fan of TB combat, but I prefear Pathfinder kingmaker, pillars of eternity 2 and even Original Sin one to this. That being said, the developers are the very best and most dedicated around and the plot, quests, voice acting are excellent. Expand

Original Sin 2 is one the best games in the recent years, and one of the most complete RPGs of all time, period. Everything a hardcore RPG fan would want from a game is on offer here, and you can barely find another title that mixes the classic table-top Role Playing elements with digital media so ingeniously. Not only for RPG fans, but for everybody else, Original Sin 2 is one of the best choices of 2018.

Divinity: Original Sin II Definitive Edition is so complex that I think everyone will find something to like, whether it’s combat or an exciting story. The best thing I can say about it is that if I’m asked what I liked about it, I can’t pinpoint something. It’s the complete experience and the feeling of joy that it left behind.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition is probably one of the best old-school RPGs you can find on console, a true masterpiece. The PC's version was almost perfect, this one follows the same path. Definitive Edition adds a new tutorial, new game mode (Story Mode) and a rework of Act III for the main campaign and it's great.
