    All I can say is even as a Isometric in 2021 Wasteland 2/3 is la better isometric RPG experience

    The best RPG game ever. Final Cut is absolute amazing. This is more an interactive and fascinating book with amazing voice actors, art style and music, than a classical game. Love it!

    Masterpiece! I was really amazed with gameplay, so refreshing. Music, Storytelling, Graphics, everything about Disco Elysium is awesome! Zaum, please make more!

    One of the best walking & talking simulators of 2021.
    Seriously though - the story is good, the immersion is amazing (Interesting characters, attention to details, interesting art style)
    If you like point - and click, a lot of text, and a game where you need to think twice - this is your choice. If you want something like this - but more casual and with combat - play Fallout: New Vegas,    One of the best walking & talking simulators of 2021.

    Disco Elysium isn't focused on gameplay. It's focused on the story, the dialogue, the writing. These elements are all spectacularly bad. If you measure the quality of writing by the volume of words that are thrown at you, maybe this qualifies as decent writing. By any other metric, it's garbage.

    Disco Elysium is a text heavy adventure rpg. And it works very well in the beginning. You do some exploring, get to know the world and (hopefully) get some interesting payoffs from the skills you picked.
    Unfortunately after after a third or half of the game you realize - The choices just add flavour text (mostly in your    Starts out interesting but becomes more and more underwhelming.
    Disco Elysium is a text heavy adventure rpg. And it works very well in the beginning. You do some exploring, get to know the world and (hopefully) get some interesting payoffs from the skills you picked.
    Unfortunately after after a third or half of the game you realize
    - The choices just add flavour text (mostly in your character's head) and don't matter at all
    - The main story is on rails
    - Skill checks either don't matter or have to be passed by using the right clothes or doing the correct drugs
    - There are no alternate routes to solve quest. Do or don't are your only choice, and sometimes not even that.

    There are some cool questlines, but ultimately the game falls flat on it's nose with an ending that is the same whatever you did.
    Buy the game if you have time to spare, like interactive novels and don't mind playing mostly in your head. Avoid if you prefer gameplay and meaningful choices.    … Expand

    A beautifully created world with characters who open up evenly, in whom you believe, with whom you want to make friends. Musically and stylistically beautiful.

    One of the best art styles I've seen. The game is a dialog-based RPG and gives plenty of details awaiting for gamers to seek. Very nice :)

    I don't often give anything at 10/10, but Disco Elysium is a masterpiece. Raw Existential Dread. The fictional world creates an often hilarious backdrop to comment on real world political ideologies, truly unique and interesting comments on classic takes.     The worst thing about this game is it's 30 hours long instead of 100. For me, this is a masterpiece. One of the best games ever made. Everything in this game is special. It's inspiring, it's touching, it's real man. This is storytelling at it's finest. This game

    I find the genre of 'you need to read and study the game to be able to play it' to be really annoying. You should not need to go to the internet for 'secrets' -- they should be sortable in-game with effort.

    I played for a few hours, made it a few days in-game, and while it seemed interesting I found it not worth the effort and never went back to it.     Might be hard to get into for some people but the clever writing and unique atmosphere makes it easily one of the best and most clever video games ever created. Be careful playing, it contains some really heavy themes.

    I've heard this is a great game from people I trust. However, the Devs are communists. For real. Now they are rich communists, and I haven't heard anything about how their money is going to the proletariat. Nothing about how they haven't bought houses. Property is violence, remember.

    Don't get me wrong if you think Neil deGrasse Tyson is great scientist and Elon Musk is genius engineer then this game could be perfect for you . But my advice instead playing this and wasting your time for talking and walking simulator with BAD and boring story . Just buy some decent novel    If pseudo intellectualism was a game it would be called :

    Давно меня настолько сильно не затягивали игры, давно не было такого что я пиздец был расстроен тем что игра закончилась. Ахуенные войс актёры, ахуенные диалоги, ахуенные шутки, ахуенный сюжет на уровне какой-то книги бестселлера . Всё в этой игре на 96% ахуенно.     Brilliant game.

    A CRPG that demands you take your time with it. Don't go in expecting any action. I wouldn't say it's a point and click game either. No pixel hunting or trying to combine random items together.

    Strong, strong writing and voice acting. Memorable characters. Rich world building and lore. Beautiful looking artwork.

    When I first started playing the game had pretty massive bugs. Ones that would normally make me drop it. But I didn't. I couldn't. It's just so gooood! Also, I keep thinking about it and I'm gonna have to go back.

    Best CRPG I have played in years. The hand drawn graphics are beautiful. But the best thing about this game is it let's you roleplay any way you want without punishing you. Wanna be a drunken, drug addicted cop who has completely given up on life, you can do that. Or maybe you wanna play as a down on his luck recovering addict who is looking to redeem himself.     You know, never mind, there are games that are a 10/10 and this is about as close as it gets. My main issue is that they made it too interesting and fun to play which led to me **** my sleep schedule over and receiving a severe migraine after finishing it for like 2 days straight.

    ALSO, a part that legitimately pissed me off, there's a part towards the end of the game (and maybe some    You know, never mind, there are games that are a 10/10 and this is about as close as it gets. My main issue is that they made it too interesting and fun to play which led to me **** my sleep schedule over and receiving a severe migraine after finishing it for like 2 days straight.

    ALSO, a part that legitimately pissed me off, there's a part towards the end of the game (and maybe some other parts) that gives you a check that you are unable to pass no matter what, I started an entirely new playthrough around that final check only for me to find out the unfortunate truth. This game sucks ass. 10/10    … Expand

    Traversing the mind of your character is as much a plot as the case you’re trying to solve, and once you’re immersed into the world of Revachol, you’ll be struggling to leave.

    Disco Elysium – The Final Cut is something rare. It’s a re-issued version of an already-beloved game, that manages to eclipse the source material through clever and thoughtful additions that maximise one of the game’s most beautiful assets: its prose. But more than that, it’s the only CRPG that can truly claim to emulate the tabletop experience—not through adherence to statistics or rules or character sheets, but through the simple act of asking questions, and thoughtfully incorporating the answers.

    Disco Elysium has a distinctive quality to its narrative, whether it's the interesting history of its world, or the mysteries surrounding the investigation, not to mention the depth and uniqueness of the many characters. It's one of the greatest story-driven experiences we've ever seen.
