This is a review of the expansion, not of the base game and as such i am giving it a low mark because for the price it adds VERY little to the original gameplay experience. The graphics are still sloppy, the gameplay is still repetitive, and to charge this much for 1 measly class is almost a felony (think of it as a DLC ..10$ for 3 classes that are really 1 really powerful class!). I think its great that they added to the game, but the price is simply too high, almost an insult. While i like the game and indeed do enjoy crawling through randomly generated dungeons particularly with friends the stuff the expansion adds does not make it more enjoyable than it was before. More quests... i mean really more trivial b/s quests like go mine ore from the third level.. whoo hoo! Damn those guys at soldak must have spent months putting that together!

If you love this game thats great, but dont try to blow smoke up peoples asses by giving a slapped together expansion (that to me should have just been included in the game as a patch if they couldnt finish these things for launch) a high score when it is really nothing but a ripoff.

With 190 different ways to combine your character, many monsters and a dynamic world map "in's Curse: Demon War is very diversified. But the Graphics and the Quest-system isn't fully and nice developed.

You can get through a single town in one sitting, making it one of those perfect games to play when you've got a half hour or so handy. Many times, that "half hour" turns into far longer, which is really the best compliment I can give a game.

Just like Din's Curse, Demon War is fun, but I still recommend it in small doses. The action tends to get repetitive after 4-5 towns and, if you're no collector of sets and rare items, you won't find many interesting rewards in the idea of endlessly killing brainless monsters; not to mention that the dynamic side of the world can frustrate less patient players. So if you don't get along with the idea that in a game you get random, uncontrollable events that are out of your influence (just like in real life), then Demon War won't keep you interested for too long.
