    4 - Not so good (bearable) game.
    [PS1 version; Emulator: Duckstation]
    Pros: + Great OST. + Unique setting (but it's pretty shallow). + Some good puzzles and number of interesting ideas (but not so much). + Several nice action situations (QTE, Boss skirmishes (not battles), cutscenes). Cons: - Very weak story with obvious plot twist. - Mediocre characters and voice acting,    4 - Not so good (bearable) game.

    - Too few types of enemies.
    - Only one boss for the game (and no real boss fights with unique attacks).
    - Too few unique locations (almost all of them are some laboratories and service rooms).
    - Overall game design problems (Example: enemies can hit hero momentary after entering a location, so Regina may die without a chance to fight back).    … Expand

    If you like the horror-survival genre, or are a big fan of Resident Evil-style gameplay on the PC, Dino Crisis is definitely worth checking out.

    On the PC it isn't all that original, and isn't pretty at all. The menu system is sludgy and antiquated, the gameplay is slow-paced an repetitive, despite some really inventive moments, and the voice-acting leaves a lot to be desired.

    It's like any "Resident Evil" game but with dinosaurs instead of zombies. It's also not a very good conversion. Recommended only if you are a survival horror fanatic. Everyone else… be afraid. Be very afraid.
