    I was hoping that this was going to be an exception because it was a mobile game, but this is what blizzard wants. They are using beloved ips to suck money out of players. OW2, D4 - they are more complete games but they learned from D Immortal. Blizzard doesn't care about players, the executives will do whatever they can to get your money.

    I happened to start playing not long ago after BK class was released. And also after I played D4 recently.
    Overall, it's 30-50 hours of pretty fun PvE gameplay with an Ok main story and cool bosses until the level cap and almost without any grind (maybe 3-5 hours total only). At this point, I'm a casual F2P daily bounty player with 70+ paragon levels and capable of killing    Important:

    At this point, I'm a casual F2P daily bounty player with 70+ paragon levels and capable of killing raid bosses solo so far at Hell 2 difficulty.

    2 merits I'd like to point out are:
    - The ability to change your class starting from level 35 - 1 time per 24h (gear is swapped to a proper one) with the possibility of reverting if you didn't like it. So no alts are needed, really.
    - You don't need to re-enchant, re-gem your gear when you equip a new piece - the game suggests you to apply all enchants of the previous item to a new one.

    P.S. I guess it's more playable now than on release. Hope this helps you to decide to play.    … Expand

    The combat is so fun and addictive that you will forget to look at your HP bar. The graphics are nice and they work well with a newer PC and monitor. But.. There is a bug where key NPCs like Deckard Cain have no voice/ speech and this has been known in the forums for about a year with nothing done about it. There are no acts like in Diablo 1 or Diablo 2 so you will feel lost. After 50The combat is so fun and addictive that you will forget to look at your HP bar. Hundreds of people talk about this game being a cash grab. While there is a great story and preservation and continuation of lore it does seem like this is the case. I’m not sure why they came out with a death knight class because crusaders look like death knights or shadow knights even when you equip the recommended gear. The game feels really cozy and Cain and friends from Diablo 2 are in it, there is also a bit of comic relief for example “killing king leoric seems to always work”… Expand

    This game is pretty good. When you just want to enjoy a H&S PvE, this is the best game available on mobile and it is totally for free! Only in PvP you are forced to pay if you want to win. But no Diablo or any other H&S ever was about a balanced Multiplayer more so than Singleplayer. Anyway they still are doing    8/10 for mobile game and PvE without paying a cent.

    I played the game. I became immortal, dominating my server with my clan. Then I quit.
    The game is nothing MTX, poor performance, and forcing you to offer your soul to the game.

    I regret the time and money of my life I poured into this game, believing it would be a good Diablo experience. It was not.

    Only play this game if you have USD50k and enjoy P2W gaming.

    If you don't cry like 90% of the tryhard reviews here it is a decent game. If you don't rush, dont' want to be #1 world etc. it is a fine game to just play. The story is simple but it works good for the game purpose. WSAD is nice to have in a Diablo game, beign able to see other players in the world is nice (it will be in D4, Diablo Immortal was first to implement this).     Is this game good? Yes. You will enjoy the gameplay.
    Is this Diablo's sequel? No. If you played it because you're a big fan of diablo's gameplay, you will find it disappointed. This game more like dungeon brawler, you load into dungeon/mission, kill all/do objective.
    Should you grind this game?No. This game is heavily pay-to-win. Paying for drops is just disguisting

    I was actually expecting a really bad game, but I had a lot of fun playing it. The gameplay is great (better than Diablo 3), my favorite classes are there, character customization is the better addition here, plus the armor and weapon designs are really interesting. The social features, like raids and such are OK and I didn't even touched the store, which is the biggest flaw in this game.

    Скажу, что поначалу игра очень понравилась. Это, без нюансов, одна из самых красивейших игр на Android. При этом настройка производительности очень гибкая. Если начинает лагать, просто уменьши какой нибудь параметр и всё полетит.
    Боевая система то же на высоте. Герой, даже с сенсорными кнопками, управляется очень легко, а относительно прочих игр данного жанра так вообще замечательно.

    Систему прокачки немного подкорректировали под ММО, но в принципе она стандартная для игр этой серии.
    Да, теперь ты не один в мире, рядом постоянно кто то бегает, особенно в городах-хабах (Сильно похоже на какой нибудь Fallout 76). Скажу честно, все Diablo всегда проходил в одиночку, атмосфера становится более целостной что ли. Но, что имеем, то имеем.
    Теперь о печальном.
    Игру, я так думаю, нельзя пройти без прокачки персонажа и всего прочего не тратя реальные деньги, то есть без доната. Хотя сама игра имеет цену в $5. Короче это тупо доилка карманов школьников.
    Да, по началу всё это незаметно, и если сюжетка требует 35 уровень, а у тебя 33 просто побегай по допкам и всяким охотам и двигайся вперёд. При том каждый день тебе дарятся разные бонусы, которые тоже поднимают уровень. Проблемы начинаются после 45 уровня. Допки приносят мизерное количество опыта, а бонусы становятся всё более жалкими. Короче авторы тебе даже не намекают, а прям из мегафона орут в ухо: "ТАЩИ БАБЛО ДЛЯ ПРОДВИЖЕНИЯ!".
    Но хрен вам буржуи, никогда не донатил в платных играх и не буду.
    Короче так прошло 4 месяца, геймплей завис, сюжет тоже. Жаль.
    Резюмирую. Игра не плохая, но, к сожалению, полностью испорчена этими постоянными запросами на донат денег. Было бы понятно если бы без взносов игра становилась сложнее, но нет игра просто упирается в стену, которую не преодолеть.
    Прокачка одного уровня бесплатно может занять неделю, а может и больше.
    К тому же игра, наверно раз в неделю, требует подкачки файлов обновления. И к моменту удаления с телефона занимала где то 15 ГБ! места. Для телефонной мобилки это много!    … Expand

    This is not a Diablo game. This is a Diablo themed casino. I never thought a day would come where a game would contain worse monetization than Battlefront 2 yet here we are. The greed of Blizzard has no bounds. The red shirt guy was right. This game should have been an out of season April Fools joke.

    The amount of disgusting micro-transactions makes this game so much P2W, it's a whole other level... and this is coming from a person who played Diablo, Diablo II and Diablo 3. So I know this series very well and to see it fall to this despicable degree and pretend to like those beloved games is a real tragedy.

    I started playing this game but promptly deleted it once I learned about the completely immoral game design with predatory lootbox micro transactions. I get that it's free-to-play and Blizzard has to make money somehow, but this is just completely immortal and shameless.

    need 19683 normal gems for 1 lv 10, at 5 normal gems per day, more 10 years to get 1 normal gem, just play the campaign and uninstall it makes no sense to farm or pay.

    Total p2w in everything. The developers are so lazy that for the PC version they forgot to change the pictures to a higher resolution when loading the game.
    Blizzard is dead to me after this game. I won't buy any of your products again.

    I have not spent a single cent on this game. I played it for the story as I am a Diablo lore fan. The gameplay was actually fun, given that it is completely free to download and play, it is a quality game. I have no desire to compete in pvp or max my character out. I gave it one play through for the story and honestly it's a great experience given that it costs nothing. For continuous playI have not spent a single cent on this game.     99% of the reviews giving 0 scores are trash. They all point to the paying argument which is trash as I have already explained! They should judge the game from all points of view which they don't do!

As it stands, this is the dumbest and worst progression system that even paying can’t fix, because resonance and cr from upgrading gems isn’t enough to move to further difficulties. You just hit walls and have to quit.

    The client also crashes nonstop and controller support is wonky at best. Every patch they break and nerf 100 new things. They’re pulling a new world and trying to get everybody to quit now that they’ve recouped costs.    … Expand

    Diablo Immortal is a simplified and more accessible version of the series that can still provide hours of mindless fun and entertainment. Sadly, the games suffers in the long run because of all the tedious grinding and the greedy monetization system, making a game experience that starts as very enjoyable much less so as time goes on.

    Diablo Immortal seems like a project created with the sole purpose of using the good name of Diablo to rub the players of their money. Definitely one of the worst games ever came out of Blizzard.
