Jun 14, 2012Character animation, and some soundtracks are very nice in this game, but this all. Absolutely boring storyline and gameplay. Low replayability, very simple and linear locations, and i can continue this for a long time.

May 17, 2012It's pretty terrible that the error 37 destroys chances of logging on. I mean seriously, Blizzard's insanity with DRM and not calling it DRM is a pretty massive stroke against it. The Auction house is so annoying, what with any idea of fees, while the gameplay is short, linear, and not innovating at the least.

May 31, 2012Error 37! You need to know more? Don't think so! A single player game should be a single player game. You buy it, you play it whenever you want. I am not a hardcore gamer, and I play games in my free time, usually after work or school, but during my free time, seems that Blizzard can't buy more servers to make the game playable.

May 16, 201212 hours is not acceptable in the post Skyrim gaming era. They apparently took a year per hour of gameplay. Sad to wait so long and get so little. I get the replay concept, but replaying on harder difficulties does not equal new content or more fun.

May 15, 2012They took everything i hated about WOW and put it in Diablo. Then they took everything i loved about Diablo. Character customization gone, item collection gone, fun gone

May 15, 2012Outdated graphics, repetitive gameplay, laughably bad voiceacting, amateurish level design, no customization, and unstable servers. The music is decent though. This game proves that single player games should never be online only. Too bad Blizzard has so much clout that other companies will start copying this system. I'll be asking for a refund.

May 15, 2012Gasme sucks, graphics suck, completely nothing like original D1 and D2. Feels more like WoW, enjoy people showing off their purchased gear, can't log in, steaming pile of crap.

May 15, 2012This game isn't even worth looking at it. Obviously, all of them developers are largely overpaid. and to say we've waited 12 years for this game, is a bit shameful. Shame on Blizzard for delivering such a botched up, wanna-be World Of Warcraft products to their clients. And shame on us, the clients, for believing they'd have done otherwise.

May 15, 2012Ok, I actually signed up for Metacritic just to post my score on how horrible this game is. Avoid at all cost. Not even worth playing if it were $5.
-
May 15, 2012They destroyed the game and you cant even play singleplayer cause the servers down. The graphics is really bad. I cant belive this is what they deliver after all that wait.

Aug 31, 2012My one major complaint is that the game never feels very difficult, especially on Normal. There are frustrating moments, hordes of baddies, and increasing difficulty levels, but the same feeling of utter defeat never really happens as it did in the past.

Hyper MagazineJul 18, 2012For all the game's missteps, though, you certainly can't accuse Blizzard of phoning it in - if anything, the game suffers from the tendency to try a little to hard at times to evolve the design. [Aug 2012, p.61]

Jul 3, 2012When it works, Diablo III is the best of the Diablo games. When it doesn't, all it does is make you mad. [July 2012, p.54]
