This hopefully isn’t the last we’ll see of Eidos Montreal’s Deus Ex, but if it is then A Criminal Past at least serves as a compact summary of their tenure at the helm. Nothing too radical here, just a well constructed prison level for Adam Jensen to be let loose upon.

The developers wasted a promising maximum security prison setting by resorting to clichés that drag the story down. Do not expect the atmosphere to be on par with The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay either. I wouldn’t call this DLC worthless but it’s a shame that we’re parting with Adam Jensen under such disappointing circumstances. [04/2017, p.45]

A disappointing finale for a series that started out with huge potential, but which fails to tie up any loose ends satisfactorily.

This is real DLC for Deus Ex Mankind Divided unlike other two which are just two missions stripped away from main game and sold as a standalone DLCs.

A great DLC that is worth playing at-least twice.
It is a lot better than the other two and the the main game.
