    This game can give you what Cyberpunk 2077 can't: a great story. The gameplay is not bad at all. It's definitely a must-play.

    I loved to Kill people with the Blade arms when I was younger.
    now I tried to keep as many people alive as I could.
    it was pretty meh.. they game is heavily based on non lethal which is really dumb. (more exp) the killing animations are cooler (both are cool tbh) the enviorments have that yellow taint which gives it its future "DEUX EX" look. the story is interesting. TECH VS    I loved to Kill people with the Blade arms when I was younger.

    I just don't give this game a 10 because it has RPG mechanics, which I thought was rubbish! other than that the game is pretty cool it has amazing ragdoll physics also has a lot of blood and exciting executions and Insane gameplay reminiscent of R6 Vegas

    Bu oyunu oynadığımı hatırlamıyordum bile. Ben sadece Mankind Divided'ı oynadım sanıyordum. Steam'de 30 saat oynamışım görünüyor, Mankind Divided yorumumda da ilk oyunla kıyaslamışım. İlginç vallahi.

    Une pépite !
    Quel plaisir à faire même si les graphismes on vieillit.
    L'ambiance et top, l'histoire prenante et le gameplay excellent.
    La bande sonore est vraiment cool.
    Il fait partie de mes jeux préférés avec Mankind Divided.
    J'aimerais vraiment qu'on puisse avoir un jour une suite de qualité avec tous les progrès technologiques d'aujourd'hui.

Единственный заметный минус - дизайн локаций местами страдает от однообразия коридоров и вентиляционных шахт.Образец качественного киберпанка с годным детективным сюжетом. Но главная особенность этой игры - конечно атмосфера. Атмосфера киберпанка, атмосфера мрачного будущего.     One of my favorite games. Beat normal difficulty in 2016. It makes me very sad Mankind Divided was such an unfinished mess, with no more games on the horizon.

    Overall, this is a great game. I wanted to play a Deus-Ex game, but didn't didn't want to play an older game like the original, and wasn't interested in the unfinished Mankind Divided. So this really hit the sweet spot for me.

    I have a few minor complaints, but nothing I'm going to knock a star off for.

    Complaint #1: The game is YELLOW. I mean, everything is yellow. It doesn't look bad, and TBH I didn't even notice it until someone mentioned it to me, but once you see it there's no unseeing it. Fortunately, there is a mod that makes it less yellow.

    Complaint #2: There were a few levels that were possibly a little too hard, even on the easiest setting. This is subjective, though, and I felt a sense of accomplishment after beating them. Also, I'm not the world's best Deus-Ex player, so it might have just been me not being very good at the game. This is very minor, though, and I never had a second thought about finishing the game.    … Expand

    Атмосфера киберпанка передана восхитительно, "High tech low life" тут по всюду ты действительно находишься в мрачном антиутопическом мире по всем законам киберпанка.
    Музыка хорошо вписывается в атмосферу всегда подходит под локации по которым ты движешься, а музыка с применением виолончели порой пробирает до мурашек, а вот работа проделанная актерами озвучки весьма посредственна. Дело не только в том, что есть много моментов, когда путают местоимения, но и абсолютно противоположные высказывания и добавьте к этому отсутствие каких либо признаков эмоции. Единственный человек который постарался это актер озвучивающий ведущего экстремистского радио в игре.
    Сюжет не заставит скучать интриги, тайны, неожиданные повороты это всё держит в напряжении, часто находишь общие точки соприкосновения с реальным миром, СМИ и событиями, что происходят в наше время. Дает пищу для размышлений по ходу прохождение ни раз задумываешься о концепции трансгуманизма готов ли ты например ради успехов в работе или какого-то физического превосходства отдать часть себя?
    Что касается геймплейной части это действительно очень увлекательно. Игра позволяет тебе проходить её любыми доступными способами и никогда не наказывается тебя за то что ты решил тут пройти вот так, а тут вот так. Учитывая профессию главного героя Адама Дженсен особо интересно проходить игру в режиме стелсе, но никто вам не запрещает действовать иначе, а при комбинации всех фишек игры особо погружаешься в роль спец агента.
    Есть и минусы у игры:
    - Файты с боссами
    - Устаревшая графика
    - Не самая приятная стрельба
    - Озвучка
    Файты с боссами не интересны и очень простые на любой сложности.
    Графику я отнес к минусу только потому что для массового геймера она покажется не очень, но как по мне графика для игры 2011 года нормальная, а главное приятная.
    Стрельба если идти исключительно в раш действительно не особо хороша, но в стелс режиме, когда ты стреляешь наверняка в голову это никак не напрягает. Об озвучке я уже говорил выше.
    Однозначно рекомендую всем особенно фанатам сеттинга киберпанк.

Still, it's a damn fine game with an interesting story, great immersive sim elements, and a kickass soundtrack. It's just a shame that some d*ckface degenerate decided that boss fights should be added to this. Every time those came up my mouse teetered on the .5 star button. Also since I'm complaining, whoever added **** mines that have a 3,000 foot detection radius and don't come with a disarming tutorial, f*ck you.

    A fantastic game, all around. The music, the setting, the plot, and the gameplay are all stellar.

    The gameplay gives you a lot of freedom in how you want to do things. In fact, you can go the entire game without killing anyone or go the other way and efficiently murder everyone in your path. You can go a stealthy route, you can get robots, your augmentations, and explosives to do all    A fantastic game, all around. The music, the setting, the plot, and the gameplay are all stellar.

    The gameplay gives you a lot of freedom in how you want to do things. In fact, you can go the entire game without killing anyone or go the other way and efficiently murder everyone in your path. You can go a stealthy route, you can get robots, your augmentations, and explosives to do all the work for you, or you can treat it like a good ol' fashioned shooter. The skill trees and the items in the game supplement all these playstyles so none of them really feel left out. It was immensely satisfying to go an entire mission without being spotted or setting off the perfect trap to be able to slip past.

    The hub worlds of Detroit and Hengsha Island were great too. They were full of environmental storytelling. I don't want to spoil too much but just know that the level and world design is fantastic. The side quests had some difficult choices to make, and did a good job of showing how the world is at the time of the game.

    The main story was entertaining from start to finish, keeping you interested throughout the game. The one complaint I had was the chapter that was originally was added DLC (the Missing Link) in the original version but it was integrated into the main game in the Director's Cut. It personally worsened the pacing for me, but it wasn't such a huge deal as it was interesting story wise. The ending of the main story left me satisfied and was pretty open to sequels.

    The characters were good too. The protagonist comes off as a jerk sometimes but I liked him towards the end. All the other characters had distinct personalities, and many of them were symbols for ideas they pushed, which was cool.

    I'd say the game has aged very well. It's totally worth playing, even today. If you're curious, you can play this game without playing the original Deus Ex.    … Expand

    A big surprise for me. Didn't expect it to have so much depth in its (very thought provoking) story and gameplay, with so many ways to reach an objective. I keep getting back to play it, it's that interesting. If you are a science fiction fan this is the game for you

    Entra en mi top 7 juegos de la historia. Jugabilidad brillante, historia brutal, gráficamente excelente aún hoy día. La mejor forma de que esperar de Cyberpunk 2077 para despejar algunas dudas sobre la jugabilidad ya que este Deus Ex es un juego de Rol Cyberpunk es jugar este juego, y es brutal, vale cada euro de lo que cuesta.

    Solid game, while it does feel dumbed down compared to the original Deus Ex, it still shines among modern titles with the gameplay that really lets you do things your way. And shooting stuff feels just as satsfying as stealthy approach. All that in a nice cyberpunk asthetic with good music and story that might be a bit lacking, but its interesting enough to keep you invested.

    This game made me look into the stealth genre. It is very well made gameplay and graphic wise, and it's story is well written too. It a mature entry, unfortunately it's a unique gem, I wish that games like this were more common.

I can't compare the cyberpunk setting, cuz we don't have a lot of games with worlds that have similar concept. As for me, the plot is mediocre, shooting mechanic is on the good level, dialogues are interesting from time to time. TheSuch an honorable representative of immersive sim genre.     This game, as written on this site, is a must-have. At its time, it became a hit with an incredibly interesting plot, the atmosphere of cyberpunk, and with a game-play, where it was possible to play the game in different ways depending on the character’s upgrades. Special thanks for a very beautiful soundtrack.

    Deus Ex: Human Revolution is really a marvel when you consider that it's a triple A production. There's actual discussion of subjects that wouldn't even get a mention in most other AAA games, and the story and characters are more mature than big budget titles usually have. It tries to evoke a cyberpunk renaissance atmosphere and does that well, with the caveat of heavily abusing the brown-yellow color scheme. (The Director's Cut seems to have toned that down, though.)

    Unfortunately, the gameplay and the story aren't as strong. It shows that the game didn't have the most experienced team behind it; it was actually the first game Eidos Montreal worked on and released. As a result, it doesn't entirely live up to expectations set by the Deus Ex name.

    The game is, naturally, often compared to its acclaimed predecessor. It couldn't ever hope to be as deep as the first game, of course, for the simple reason that the standards and focus of modern developers do not allow for such depth anymore. But this is also the reason, as I said, that it's still amazing how far along the true Deus Ex path they actually got. Since a Deus Ex game has to accommodate several play styles, the developers couldn't help but attempt to develop satisfying stealth, FPS, cover, dialogue, AI and skill systems. That seems to have been too much for them to handle, but surprisingly enough, they pulled it off in a more or less commendable way. The shooting can be stiff and wonky, the cover too sticky, the stealth too easy or unsatisfying, and the story may get fragmented and inconsistent, losing its focus as it nears the end of the game - the ending itself being the game's lowest point alongside the tacked-on boss fights (which were, again, fixed in the Director's Cut). But overall, Human Revolution is a worthwhile experience, especially as a prequel to the original.    … Expand

Если углубляться в мир то вместе с дополнением у вас уйдет 25 часов интересного геймплея.Это классика!     Definitely worth the deus ex name and it is a great reboot of the franchise. It has the rpg elements though I wouldn't call it an rpg. It is more of an action shooter with augmentations. The story is what gets it to a 10 out of 10. It does have multiple endings with the secret societies like the original which makes it a deus ex.

A world definitely worth visiting and the philosophical questions asked definitely worth pondering upon. Has a great atmosphere and world-building and the plot is pretty good too.     + Story with serious themes. Starts with a literal bang and is paced well.
    + Relevant side-quests that can contain important backstory.
    + Choices matter.
    + Voice-acting is excellent.
    + Superb soundtrack by Michael McCann. Synth-orchestral sound with a techno feel at times.
    + Multiple ways to play (with the right upgrades). Stealth? Shooter? Fall safely from any height? Punch walls (discovering new passages)? Up to you. High replayability.
    + Multiple level paths. You’ll end up at the same objective, but there are at least two paths to get there (and there are frequently more).
    + The Director’s Cut features completely revamped boss-battle environments. Stealth builds are now completely legit.
    + Addictive hacking mini-game. It’s over in seconds, too, so it doesn’t slow the gameplay down much.
    + Individual weapons. Decent selection, and they all look and feel unique.
    + Well-optimized, and not resource-intensive. Locked 60fps @1440 on an RX 470 with everything maxed except Depth of Field (which is an effect I dislike, so it was turned off). Back in the day, it played fine on the desktop APU I used to have (using the integrated graphics). If you have a low-spec computer and are looking for a good game to play, Human Revolution should be near the top of your list.

    +/- Not an “open world.” Rather, a few small hub areas that have some side-missions. Allows for more focused level design, but can feel claustrophobic at times.
    +/- The Missing Link DLC is included in the main campaign (right after leaving China for the second time). You lose all of your upgrades once this section of the game begins (though you get them back once this section is complete, PLUS any upgrades you accumulated). Generally, the insertion of the Missing Link DLC slows down the later part of the game, but narratively it makes complete sense. And Commander Burke is a great adversary.
    +/- Graphics are fair. Light-shafts and shadows look great, but skyboxes look low-res and facial expressions are wooden. Edges are jaggy even with anti-aliasing cranked up (down-sampling is the best solution).

    - Mouths frequently don’t sync properly during conversations.
    - UI doesn’t scale properly. The HUD is tiny at 1440p; I can’t imagine it at 4k.
    - Some odd controls with kb + m. Right click and hold to enter cover. Iron sights is a toggle of the middle mouse button.
    - Predictable, stupid enemy AI. Get even a few upgrades, and ghosting levels becomes incredibly easy.

    Even with those few drawbacks, Deus Ex: Human Revolution is one of the very best stealth / role-playing / action hybrids. It belongs to none of those genres, but takes the best elements of each and adds in an emotional story whose morals exist in planes of grey. A game to play through, reflect upon, and play again. 9/10    … Expand

    Really hard choice of GOTY 2011 between this and Skyrim. An excellent immersive sim, a worthy sequel to the original Deus Ex. Ignore the haters, this game is very good. Why this is so underrated on metacritic i will never understand.

    Rampaging with no mercy. Non-fatal weapons/melee attacks. Or passing all enemies without them even knowing. For almost every situation there is a smarter way to go than just running through wiht no brain. Great graphic and immersive gameplay, with lot's of side missions.    … Expand

    One of the best cyberpunk games out there. In fact I think this one the best cyberpunk game since the original Deus Ex which came out in 2000. The gameplay was spectacular and there were very few bugs or glitches that I experienced. Overall I highly recommend this game especially if you are fan of sci-fi like Bladerunner.

The original Deus Ex was actually my very first game, it came free bundled with a new computer but I was not into games so it sat in the drawer for years... now I still play it today!     Human Revolution is a great AAA game, good graphics and music, voice acting and sound. Gunplay seems a little bland compared to more traditional shooters, but this is more of a stealth/exploration game, so it doesn't really matter much.

    The gameplay is very rich, you have many creative ways to accomplish your objectives, and the game gives you total freedom. If you are creative, no playthrough will be the same. The game doesn't really hold your hand though, sometimes you will get lost trying to understand how to proceed.

    I love the RPG elements, they really influence how you tackle the various situations, although you tend to get very overpowered late in the game, and the Typhoon augmentation is really a cheat. All bosses die almost instantly to it.

    The main thing that bothered me the travel times. There is no fast travel, and even though the cities are small, you have to walk from end to end. This is tedious, and it would have been better if it had a fast travel system.

    Other than that, great game, i totally enjoyed it and recommend it. Would have given it a 9, but i am forced to give it a 10 because of the many inaccurate bad reviews.    … Expand

    Here is the thing. This game is freaking awesome. But...I'm playing on pc and the weapon is constantly being engaged. I holster my weapon ever 10 seconds. it just engages every few seconds. it is super anoying.

    Great game. It follows the story of Deus Ex Human Revolution.

    I liked Human Revolution and this game really developes the story in a great manner.

    Furthermore Deus Ex is a great Cyberpunk universe, with a "Dark reality".

    And this reality could really become ours one day!

But I don't regret playing this game, this game does follow with the traditional gameplay style of Deus Ex and as well as the story progress as far as comparisons go which is a big bonus due to how much I love    Deus Ex Human Revolution is honestly the prefect prequel to the original Deus Ex.

    After being disappointed in Deus Ex: Invisible War, I was real hesitant to try this game out. But I don't regret playing this game, this game does follow with the traditional gameplay style of Deus Ex and as well as the story progress as far as comparisons go which is a big bonus due to how much I love Deus Ex. But Human Revolution had it's own moments which stand out. Firstly they had new augmentations, and these augments are amazing, going from Icarus landing system to stealth based augments. The new augments were a great touch. Gameplay mechanics were a lot better than in Deus Ex, with a new cover system (it's not as good as Splinter Cell conviction but it does has a good cover system.) some controls are weird (like aiming down the sight with the middle mouse button.) tolerable controls but it feels really weird and wonky which actually screwed me up a bunch of times forgetting to aim down with the middle mouse button. To be honest I don't know what they were trying with the middle mouse button here.

    Story progresses really well in HR, mostly because it's well paced and there is side missions to do, but not too much that it draws away from the story. And also you can explore in Hub Worlds (through story progression only sadly... instead of anytime visiting hub worlds to finish side missions.) But there is enough content to get yourself entertained. Main story is amazing too, it feels like just like the original deus ex with all the illuminati, the augmentations and the cyberpunk feeling. and you really start to appreciate every single bit of the game. From reading the emails to news reports and just listening to the npc rant about augmentations or praise augments or other topics so that you feel immersed into the environment and you have a feel for what's going on. Very few games does this efficiently and Human revolution is a prime example of this.

    Overall I tried to play a completionist playthrough but sadly I couldn't get enough but I have clocked in over 50 hours on my first play through with trying to get the max possible praxis kits. And after playing I was sad that it was over but this leaves me a chance to wait for Mankind Divided to come out in August. As I stated that deus ex human revolution is the prefect prequel to deus ex and I cannot wait to continue the tale of Adam Jensen in August.    … Expand

    There are also stealth augments if you choose to play this game stealthily…
    Everything about Deus Ex is so greatly designed…
    You can sneak around cover perfectly, climb through vents to pass patrolling guards…you can create your own cover by moving objects... you can sneak up behind enemies to either put them asleep or take them out for good, one being louder than the other, as well as hide their bodies to not alert everyone..
    You can play through the entire game without killing anyone…
    This game is also greatly designed for aggressive players like me
    so you have the option to play the game as a 3rd person shooter like I did as enemies do all carry weapons and ammo…
    This gives such a great feeling of freedom to truly tackle the game in any way you desire unlike other games that promise this but never truly deliver…

    You can peak over cover, and there is a variety of heavy, combat, and compact weapons, all with their own unique feel to them…
    All of this gameplay freedom sounds great but it’s not even the best part of the game…
    Deus Ex Human Revolution is hands down one of the most fleshed out games I’ve played period…
    There are side missions to complete…. Conversations to be had to convince a character to allow you to go inside a building for example, or to prevent a suicide… and not only are there conversations for you as the player, but the characters that inhabit this world all have conversations going on as well…
    Some seemingly random, I never heard the same line of dialog twice, bringing so much life into this world…
    you’ll hear characters on the streets of the handful of cities you visit asking for directions and the locals making fun of them because of the location they ask for… you’ll hear guards and janitors talk about work…
    it’s really perfectly done and other developers need to take note…
    The only downside to this game is ultimately the story…
    It’s the typical bad guys wanting to use technology for bad things story..
    It never really kept my intention or kept me pushing forward, luckily the gameplay is good enough to carry the game on its own.
    I give Deus Ex Human Revolution

    One of the best games ever! perfect story perfect gameplay and the graphics are good.The only bad things are the forced boss fights.But you can easily beat them using the enviroment or shooting them at the head.

Innanzitutto la sensazione che dà il PROGETTARE l'attraversamento di un ambiente: lo studio del percorso dei nemici, dei tempi che intercorrono tra quando il soldato di sentinella comincia a camminare, si volta per guardarsi indietro, e si rigira per fare qualche altro passo. L'adrenalina nell'aprire il portello del condotto ed infilarsi all'interno un istante prima di essere avvistato. La soddisfazione nell'eseguire un doppio atterramento non letale, dopo essere riuscito a strisciare, non visto, in mezzo a due guardie. La consapevolezza di aver intrapreso, ancora una volta, il percorso secondario, di aver attraversato la finestra sul retro, di aver scelto la strada meno ovvia. Bisogna notare, comunque, che alle volte queste sensazioni sono solo illusorie (ovvero, le strade secondarie sono messe lì per essere trovate e sfruttate). Perchè Deus Ex HR NON si merita un 10, o un 9? Per via di un insieme di scenari, soprattutto nella prima metà di gioco, ripetitivi (uffici, scrivanie, computer), non aiutati da una scelta dei colori che uniforma gli ambienti anche nei casi in cui ci si spinge in vicoli suburbani o perfino in fognature, o piattaforme in mezzo all'oceano. Anche il gameplay non è vicino alla perfezione, in particolare lo shooting (seppure sia secondario, data la natura del gioco che predilige evitare uno scontro piuttosto che vincerlo). Non ispirati alcuni dialoghi, probabilmente indeboliti dal doppiaggio in italiano (avrei dovuto giocarlo in lingua originale, con sottotitoli).     Lo Bueno:Atrapante, Genial!. Las Horas pasan muy rápido con este bien logrado juego. Admito que me lo compré sin saber nada de él, pero que ha sido una sorpresa y un agrado jugarlo.
    Si esperas un shooter puro este juego no va con ese tinte. Mezclado con estrategia, rol, acción y el famoso pero para mí, poco experimentado mundo de los juegos con "Stealth Mode".

    High quality game!
    Cyberpunk grim-future nerdgasm, adult theme, fun stealth section, well written dialogues (and dialogues actually have impacts on mission and side quest) , side quest mission are not boring, good rpg aspect, cool visual style, interesting world to explore, fun combat sequence, cool bosses. Buy it...it won't disappoint.

    You play robo cop in a rpg, if robo cop had his voiced mixed with Christian Bale's Batman. Deus Ex had a drawn out story but was solid writing all the way through. Plenty of times I thought I was finished the game when it would throw me right back into something else.     Parts of the story could have been removed as they felt more as filler. Overall the game was about 23 hours long and they could have made it into 20 and still had a impressive story.
    Gameplay offered the choice of guns blazing or merciful saint, I often found myself trying not to spill blood...which ended in me unloading a hail of gunfire.
    When playing Deus Ex I would highly recommend using a keyboard rather then a game pad. The controls on the gamepad felt clunky and unorganized compared to the keyboard.    … Expand

    t's like magic, guys. Time disappears when this game and I are together, and I never want it to end strongly recommend the game, because of the great atmosphere, story and interactive choices

    Nice game, managed to give the feelimg of the first deus ex, a worthy addition to the series. Although I prefer the first games scenario and gameplay. The only thing I disliked was the city designs. Really hard to find your way and the streets felt lifeless and empty.

    amazing game. i loved every aspect of this game. You can go in guns blazing, or sneak your way through or a bit of both. the story and plot was really good and satisfying. Also, the soundtrack list by Michael McCann is one of my favorite soundtrack list ever.

    Beautiful and inspiring visuals, fantastic soundtrack, solid gameplay, relevant themes, Jensen's grumpy voice and you can punch the crap out of that guy with spiky hair, who dances like a dunce. This game has everything for an unforgettable experience and a worthy successor to the original.

    Absolutely amazing. Soundtrack is just 10/10, story is great and it's non linear! I highly recommend, one of my favourites, atmosphere is perfect, i can't wait for Mankind Divided.

    So despite the odds being stacked against it, Eidos Montreal accomplished the impossible and brought us a Deus Ex in the true sense of the word, probably the best one that we could have hoped for considering the current "requirements" for being commercially successful nowadays.
