Aug 23, 2011played the beta build. Immediately after beating it, i pre ordered. Haven't regretted that decision once and i don't think i will. This game is bloody brilliant in every single way. Great story, great dialogue, great graphics on pc maxed out and at 60 fps. You cant beat that. A true successor to the original deus! pc gaming is still alive

Aug 23, 2011A truly outstanding dark and gritty, cyberpunk, action role-playing experience. This title by Eidos Montreal lives up to the hype and then some. Whether you're a fan of the sci-fi, role-playing, first person/third person shooter, or the stealth-action genre Deus Ex: Human Revolution is the game for you.

Aug 24, 2011This game was made for the fans of the original, that is for sure. I remember hearing about a reboot of this franchise and was almost 100% sure it would fail. i'm glad to see that Eidos Montreal has stayed true to the franchise and brought this floundering franchise back to the forefront of interactive entertainment. That, and most of the IT Terminology is actually correct.

Aug 24, 2011Great game! It is just like the original but with all the new tech. The game play is great. You can choose your own way around or through obstacle . The characters are well done if not amazing.

Aug 23, 2011After Deus Ex: Invisible War, I have been waiting for a game that would be considered the true successor to Deus Ex. Human Revolution has fulfilled this. This game is the true Deus Ex 2.

Aug 25, 2011This game has fulfilled all of the expectations I had leading up to it's release. I have enjoyed every aspect of the game and look forward to a second play through to use the augmentations I didn't choose the first time. I love the atmosphere that is created and completely loose myself while playing this game.

Aug 24, 2011I am maybe halfway through the game, and I am more than convinced it has lived up to the original, Great Job Eidos Montreal! It feels like a proper PC game, which I for one am very thankful for, we've had far too many crappy ports.

Aug 23, 2011This is easily the best game I have ever played in my life. That is an incredibly heavy statement comming from me. Better than the first in every way. It's not just hype either, I've been TRYING to find things to dislike. I can't, it's so fluid, and just.... wonderful.

Aug 24, 2011Very perfect action/rpg in future setting, i love this game.

Aug 25, 2011The best game I've purchased in a long time. Interesting, challenging and fun. PC graphics include DX11 goodness and FXAA. Sound is awesome. Lots of choices and alternate outcomes. High production values. It's a winner.

Aug 24, 2011Easily one of the best games of the year so far, it takes everything that was great from the first Deus Ex and then makes it even better with the addition of the cover system, take downs, new speech system with augments and many many more, story is great, voice acting is solid and over all it runs very smooth.

Mar 10, 2013Frankly, it could have been better. Not the truly EPIC experience the original delivered, but a worthy contender to all these other shooters that claim to have rpg elements. If you liked the original it is a must buy. It is definitely worth the price of 20 bucks whether your new to the series or not.

Apr 13, 2012Deus Ex Human Revolution is a great game with an awesome cyberpunk atmosphere but the technical problems with stuttering on the PC destroy the experience. Eidos and Square Enix never managed to fully fix those. With the latest patches and drivers it got a bit better but the stutter is not gone entirely.

Jan 23, 2013On of the best FPS games on my list. Has that good feel when you take down a notorious antagonist. If you compare with COD it makes it look like a poor design. If you like FPS in a fictional setting., get this game and press your mouse!

Oct 23, 2014Master mother ****ing piece. So much is done right in this game its really hard to nail one any one thing that I love the most about it. The music, the gameplay the story every thing just shines bright as hell!

Nov 12, 2011This game is an awesome installement in the franchise, but isn't as good as its predecessor. But that's to be expected, since the original Deus Ex is, in my opinion, the best game ever made. You shouldn't regret buying this if you are looking for an awesome adventure.
-
Jan 10, 2012Deus Ex was a game which excelled in all areas but still just had something... missing. The game was extrodinarily fun, had excellent gameplay, above average graphics, some of the best stealth in any game, but still was missing... something. That edge which makes a game transcend the 9-10 border. Deserving of a nine? Absolutely. Ten? Just... not quite.

Oct 3, 2011Rented on Redbox and took it back the next day just so I could buy my own copy. It's an awesome game with a lot of freedom and variability in how you play. Not just a normal FPS, but a good and interesting game with RPG and FPS elements.

Nov 1, 2011Consolidis shows through quite badly (how hard would it be to just let the PC guys download hires-texture packs and high-definition model packs?) but I was blown away by Eidos Montreal's vision and execution. Refresingly DE: HR manages to avoid cutscene worshippery and let's the player do the decisions.

Nov 10, 2011A really nice, well made game. I didn't enjoy the original one that much but the trailer set up the hype for me. And rarely any games meet up with the hype. Totally deserves a 9 from me

Nov 10, 2011This is my first Deus Ex game.
Bought it on a whim and I'm glad I did.
Best stealth system in a game ever!
Awesome story and gameplay.
Likable Characters and Great Atmosphere.
One of the best games of the year. -
Nov 11, 2011Brilliant immersive gameplay, a simply outstanding game! The story is excellent, I feel they captured the original perfectly! The voice acting could have done a little better, but other than that, brilliance.
-
Nov 15, 2011It lives up the Deus Ex name, full of great. with a slight glitch hear and there but not enough to keep you from enjoying a great story and gameplay. simply worth its retail price.

Nov 28, 2011Excellent game. Gives the very same feeling as the original game, where you are free to make your own choices, and those choices have a permanent effect in the world. This makes the game very immersive, where you really give a thought on every move you make.
-
Jan 1, 2012This is an excellent cyber-punk game with very nice rpg gameplay, amazing graphics, and a deep cyber story with references to Phillip Dick, William Gibson. The only negative to this title is the boss fights.
-
Jan 24, 2012Very good hybrid gameplay, excellent atmosphere, great story and technology, flawless soundtrack = I love this game.A true sequel to a great game.A must have game for a true gamer.

Mar 4, 2012The game is fun and highly polished (and at the same time, simplified). It runs remarkably well on my dated PC, and loading times are very short. My main gripe with DX: HR is that it's so short; I tried to finish every single secondary mission I could find, but I still clocked only 20 hours of gameplay according to Steam.

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Oct 30, 2011There are only a few games this year we suggest to 16-yrs old gamers and their fathers together. Human Revolution for sure is a Game of the Year nominee. [Oct 2011]
-
Oct 18, 2011So despite the odds being stacked against it, Eidos Montreal accomplished the impossible and brought us a Deus Ex in the true sense of the word, probably the best one that we could have hoped for considering the current "requirements" for being commercially successful nowadays.

Pelit (Finland)Oct 10, 2011A worthy successor to one of the greatest games ever. It offers a lot of choice on many levels and feels like an RPG from years past - in a very good way. One of the best, if not the best game of 2011. [Oct 2011]
