    Depth Hunter has an interesting premise. Swimming around in beautiful oceans and catching fish does sound like a relaxing experience. ThisDepth Hunter has an interesting premise. Swimming around in beautiful oceans and catching fish does sound like a relaxing experience. This game do achieve that in some areas while i fails in others.

    The visuals in this game are pretty nice and the oceans you are swimming in looks great. On complaint regarding the visuals is the different oceans looks pretty much the same and i would have love to have seen some better environment variety. Another complaint related to the environments are that they feel a bit static and not really alive. An example of this are sharks that dont attack or react to your presence in any meaningful way. It is however despite this problems quite nice to swim around in the different oceans the game present you with (3 small oceans).

    Now the gameplay leaves a lot of things to be desired. Swimming around searching for treasures is quite nice and relaxing. Taking photos is also quite nice even though the game is really stingy about angles and distance for the photo to count.

    Catching fish however isn't all that fun. It is sometimes quite hard finding the right fish you are looking for which can be quite frustrating. And the fishing minigame in itself is quite hectic and button-mashy and doesn't really fit into the calm and relaxing vibe of the game.

    I completed the main campaign in one hour or two which isn't all that long. The game is however quite cheap which might compensate for that. Pick it up if you are looking for an hour or two of quite relaxing gameplay. Just don't expect to much.    … Full Review »
