  1. It's a difficult game, but its thinking-man's style of approaching missions will keep you coming back for more.
  2. If you enjoyed either "Delta Force I" or "II," you'll like this game as well. It is more of the same, with some gameplay, graphic, and multiplayer improvements.
  3. A lot of fun, although not particularly advanced from "Delta Force 2" in either scope or quality.
  4. 83
Land Warrior is the best distance squad combat game on the market.
  5. The game in the series that seems most accessible, and if you've avoided it up until this point, I'd recommend picking it up if sniping or large areas appeal to you.
  6. 80
It can't measure up to the likes of "SWAT 3" or "Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear," but Delta Force is a much improved and very fun tactical combat action game.

The best in tis underrated series, but the gameplay hasn't kept pace with the FPS genre. [Feb 2001, p.90]
  8. Fools you into thinking it's crap with its new-fangled but rubbish graphics but, like George Formby, Land Warrior turns out nice again.

A standout among some recent disappointments in the first-person shooter action genre.
  10. Daily Radar

As dopey as the AI is, it really is a lot of fun to jump into a level where you know that you're completely surrounded and outnumbered and gun the hell out of everything that moves.
  11. If you want subtlety and complexity, Delta Force probably isn't for you, but if you want to mow down terrorists using the latest firearms in a variety of colorful settings, then this is your game.
  12. 73
Even though I did have a modicum of fun, the bad AI and graphics problems made the game pretty disappointing at times.
  13. Even with its less than intelligent AI, the game offers more than enough high powered fun -- especially for those of us who favor playing the sniper.
  14. Da Gameboyz

The game has all the elements of a great tactical simulator with the emphasis on realism rather then fantasy, but has been mortally wounded by shoddy modeling, its graphic's limitations and all around poor execution.
  15. Though the rendering jitters can get annoying, the improvements to the overall visuals combined with the wide explorative possibilities make Delta Force: Land Warrior a solid game for anyone who enjoys modern tactical warfare on the PC.
  16. A far cry from the grittiness of "Rainbow Six."
  17. If you like your games with less thought and more explosions, you'll have fun with Land Warrior. Those expecting another Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six will want to look elsewhere.
  18. If your teammates are dumb, the enemy is positively moronic. "Braindead" doesn't begin to describe the terrorists you'll face.
  19. CNET Gamecenter

Though decent for the most part, and occasionally fun, the latest entry in the series remains lackluster and is easily overshadowed by the competition.
  20. If five enemies stand on one spot, you kill four of them and the fifth one was incidentally looking somewhere else at the time, he won't have a clue what happened, and better still, he won't realize anything happened.
  21. Unfortunately, this new DF cuisine turns out a flavor that is bland and ubiquitous to a fault. I guess someone forgot to throw in the spice.
  22. 50
As many improvements as the game's developers have made over its predecessors, I only wish they had gone the extra mile and made this game into the top-notch title it could have been.

Yet another passable first person shooter from my childhood. Come to think of it how much I played this game.

I've played this game many years ago. This is the game of my childhood. I spent much time in this game with my brother.
