As a solo game, Team Sabre is a bit lacking.
-
At £19.99, this is a highly impressive add-on, and although it has only 11 new single-player levels, none of them is a walkover.
-
Computer Gaming WorldBad A.I. and no realism, but who cares? The nonstop rat-a-tat-tat of automatic weapons in hostile environments gives Team Sabre its charm. [Apr 2004, p.91]
-
Anyone who doesn't already have BHD has been missing out on one of the best FPSs of recent times, and Team Sabre is just icing on the cake. [Mar 2004, p.112]
-
Reasonably basic improvements.
-
In short, if you own the original or a similar game go buy a copy you'll love it. Everyone else should keep their sanity by going out, buying a good book and reading it.
-
The new missions are interesting, and the new weapons nice enough. Since this is a $19 addon youre getting a fair amount of fun for your money.
