A worthy sequel to Deliver Us The Moon and a genuinely atmospheric experience. Some technical problems are not enough to tarnish the very positive overall impression.
  2. If you are ready to travel to Mars after the Moon, a wonderful adventure with unique landscapes awaits you. As you experience Kathy's story, you will not want to leave your computer.

Like its predecessor, Deliver us Mars lives from its great atmosphere, but this time it also complements it with a well-staged narrative. The clearly more personal story, in which a family's discord is also symbolic for humanity's fight for survival and their different views on the future, fascinates from the first minute on. It doesn't even bother that it doesn't rumble and bang at every corner.

Technical issues aside, it shows that a sci-fi action adventure can tell a dramatic, gripping tale by zeroing in on the minutia of the next giant leap, and the weight of uncertainty behind every small step. [Issue#382, p.106]

Even after decades of research, handful of deep space probes and a bunch of scientific rovers, humanity is still fascinated with Mars. Immersive experience of Deliver Us Mars satisfies this very fascination by serving its junky gameplay and ridiculous animations on a way too ambitious plate, while a wonderfully grand, Interstellar like music coats the imperfectly glitchy background. This results in a seemingly spectacular story with enormous set pieces, which lacks the necessary polish, mostly due to obvious budget limitations.

Deliver Us Mars comes crashing back down to Earth because of presentation failings, story missteps, and technical issues, despite a somewhat compelling personal tale involving the majesty of space travel and exploration of the red planet.

With only about ten hours of gameplay (give or take), it feels too long in all the wrong ways. I’m optimistic, however, that KeokeN Interactive can finesse development to bring quality to future titles.

Yes the game can improve on some early glitches, but people, its an indie game, with a very low budget compared to AAA. This is absolutely a masterpiece, it builds upon its strengths of its predecessor, its an important story to be told and I can't wait for more games of this dev. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Touching story with great acting, once you get past some of the jarring character models (I’m looking at you Sarah). The gameplay is fun, and I liked the new climbing mechanic which is very manual compared to in other games, adding to the tension. The ending really questions morality, how do you know you’re doing the right thing, and what a cliffhanger! I hope we can see the story continue! Expand

This game is great. Not a 10 obviously. Yes, it's low budget but I had an enormous amount of fun with it.

An overpriced cheesy and melodramatic story interrupted by dumb puzzles and frustrating gameplay mechanics.

The developers preferred wasting money to add DENUVO DRM than perfecting their game, they sure are greedy. Where to start the animations areThe developers preferred wasting money to add DENUVO DRM than perfecting their game, they sure are greedy. Where to start the animations are pretty bad, walking animations look stiff and slidey as the move speed of the characters dosnt match the leg movement speed. Also some textures look bad and pixelated. Most of the time characters theyre speaking during cutscenes there is zero body language, just stiffly standing there conversing. Is this a 2023 game title or a game made in 2008 it makes me wonder....Now the writing at times is just cringeworthy and characters mostly wishing they would be quiet. The gameplay is nothing special, it's casual don't expect any real challenge. Overall the game was short as hell too, took me around 8 hours to finish. Don't waste you money Expand
