    - Good theme
    - Mechanical simplicity
    - Challenging levels

    Cons:
    - Unfriendly UI; evidently a mobile port
    - Clunky controls
    - Mediocre music
    - No achievements

    Defense of Egypt: Cleopatra Mission is a grind heavy tower defense game, with a steep difficulty curve. The game itself is not hard to learn, but the difficulty spike is insane, and requires one to grind rubies to upgrade gears for the towers to proceed to mid-game. The controls are abysmal, and only utilises the left-click button on the mouse (no keyboard controls at all).

    My short play time presents many frustrations, predominantly in the tree-logging mechanic (seriously, identifying loggable trees and left-click spamming them is not fun, but couple that with the trees being so close to tower sites making me mistakenly place towers becomes anti-fun). Further frustrations include difficulty identifying wave trajectory and end points, and the lack of mob information in each wave.    … Full Review »
