    If you enjoyed the first DeathSpank, you're gonna love Thongs of Virtue. It's just as addictive, just as pretty, and I dare say it's even a little funnier.

    It's a simple game, without gameplay complexities, extraordinary AI or difficult tactics, quick reflexes on the mouse and plenty of life potions being enough for a victory.

    The larger scope of Thongs of Virtue makes it a great second entry, but when comparing it to the first, the lack of improvements put it in a bad position. It's definitely still a worthy title, but it would have been even better had there been more time between releases and some much needed improvements were made.

    It's longer, funnier and more diverse than the first game, so it's simply better. But we really want to see a better character system – or more of that kind of humor in Diablo 3.

    Thongs of Virtue contain all of the positives and negatives from original Deathspank. It's more fun than the original although it's almost the same game in every aspect. [Issue#199]

    If you're a PC gamer and you enjoy Diablo and Torchlight style games, I'd still say drop the money down on it. There's still some fun to be had.

    This is chapters II and III of the Deathspank story, with the first game being chapter I. I've finally gotten around to playing and beating this game to completion and it's honestly a lot of fun. The gameplay is so simple and while not exactly innovative, it offers a very satisfying feedback loop of killing, getting new loot, and levelling up. Seeing that "100%" in your logbook is oh-so-lovely, and you don't really have to grind to get there. The writing is hilarious and quick-witted, and is the main allure of this game (at least to me).

    There are quests absolutely everywhere. Pretty much every NPC you can interact with has around three quests for you, which is absolutely insane, but it's not too hard to keep track of, and you can essentially "buy" hints for the quests, but it's at very little cost to yourself.

    This game is 10 years old but it has aged incredibly well due to its art style, kind of like how The Wind Waker has aged. If you liked actions RPGs with fantastic writing and countless hilarious lines, pick this game up. It's a solid 9/10 for what it is!    … Full Review »

    Never played a DeathSpank game? Well, treat yourself to a fun little button-masher called "DeathSpank" or the second outing "DeathSpank:Never played a DeathSpank game? Well, treat yourself to a fun little button-masher called "DeathSpank" or the second outing "DeathSpank: Thongs of Virtue". DeathSpank is a wonderful lead character who wears a purple thong in a quirky little world where everything is subject to becoming a bad joke or pun or dead...and that s a good thing. DeathSpank bumbles his way through various quests, much to the chagrin of the local populace...They don't trust him to get the job done, and even the chickens are not safe in DeathSpank; lay waste to 100 of the little cluckers, and you will be known as "Destroyer of Chickens". The game is over the top, sillly, and weird...but, simply put the gameplay ROCKS, and the first two titles are a great ride from start to finish.… Full Review »
