Экспериментальная компьютерная игра, разработанная независимой студией The Chinese Room для Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X и Linux. Изначально Dear Esther представляла собой модификацию на движке Source к шутеру Half-Life 2. Dear Esther вышедшая в 2012, стала игрой своего времени, расположившейся между The Stanley Parable (2011) и The Vanishing of Ethan Carter (2014). Симулятор ходьбы, который ставит в первую очередь историю, а не захватывающий экшен, не дающий времени на размышления. Музыка и графика действительно хороши, особенно если играть в переиздание 2016 года (Dear Esther: Landmark Edition).
   
   Симулятор ходьбы с приятной музыкой и авторскими вкраплениями
   Эпизод с пещерой был красив, а больше мне понравилась концовка - ночь, ветер, вышка.
   Так же советую играть с русском озвучкой от GameVoice… Expand

   Things can be mysterious, but there is no mystery to solve. I think the most important thing is to not try to make "sense" of the island, but become like a paper boat on water, wander where the paths lead you, and feel different emotions.
   
   I think is not possible to fully experience the ending if you don't let go beforehand.… Expand
