    Already a long time since I played this cool FPS as Deadfall Adventures. However, the game needs to be developed. As for me, not enough interaction with the environment. The game is linear. Music in the game is amazing. Issue a strong seven and I look forward to the second part with more difficult puzzles.

    I was deciding between 6 or 7. On one hand. This game is good. Gunfights are good, riddles are good, story is good. But on the other hand it looks sooo cheap. Sound design is bad, character models are bad, Overally i kinda got a feel that this is the worse version of Tomb Raider or Indiana Jones. But the start for the developer is decent. Game is good and it works well, if they will beI was deciding between 6 or 7. On one hand. This game is good. Gunfights are good, riddles are good, story is good.     It can be good fun if you love climates with Indiana Jones. It's not Uncharted or Tomb Raider, but the smell of adventure floats through the whole game. I've seen the PC version and there this game looks better than on Xbox.

    Deadfall Adventures tried really hard to combine its FPS mechanism with a larger scope of puzzles, mysteries and other interesting ideas in presentable manner. But an average story with not-so-good presentation ruins the mix. It's not a bad game by any means, but had so much potential to be a great one.

    Deadfall Adventures tells the story of James Quatermain, an adventurer for hire and the British archaeologist Jennifer Goodwin in a race against the Nazis for the Heart of Atlantis.

    If you can get past the cheesy, often badly acted voice work there is some real fun to be had while shooting your way through Nazis and Mummies in temples, Arctic camps and Jungles. Along the way you’ll have    Deadfall Adventures tells the story of James Quatermain, an adventurer for hire and the British archaeologist Jennifer Goodwin in a race against the Nazis for the Heart of Atlantis.

    If you can get past the cheesy, often badly acted voice work there is some real fun to be had while shooting your way through Nazis and Mummies in temples, Arctic camps and Jungles. Along the way you’ll have to bypass traps and solve puzzles with the option of solving additional puzzles to find extra treasures which are used to level your character, although none of these are particularly challenging even with puzzle difficulty set to high.

    In the 8 hours I spent completing the campaign on hard I didn't encounter and game breaking bugs or glitches, although my only gripe with the controls was an occasional slow down while strafing.

    As I usually do I would suggest checking out some gameplay videos before purchasing just to make sure it’s you’re thing.    … Expand

    Sure the voice acting is cheesy, and at times it feels like there should be a bit more shooting in this old school shooter....but it is fun and the environments and level settings create a great Indiana Jones style atmosphere...if you can pick this up a a budget price...defiantly worth the time..

    Adventure game I think we should have a certain amount of free play to. Makes turning point in the mean or anything.

    In this game, but it's one thing, but a choice. It'll be too easy and difficult puzzles in the easy part too difficult. If I would have liked a little inconvenient differentiation extravaganza. Comes part of the action is not better or worse. A.I enemy like a    Adventure game I think we should have a certain amount of free play to. Makes turning point in the mean or anything.

    In this game, but it's one thing, but a choice.

    It'll be too easy and difficult puzzles in the easy part too difficult.

Estamos en 2023 y tiene ya 10 años, pero pese a que se le ven las costuras, es un juego muy disfrutable y que desde luego no se merece las malas críticas que tuvo en su día. He llegado a leer que este juego es pura basura.     Deadfall Adventures nos cuenta la aventura de James Quatermain, nieto del famoso explorador y aventurero Allan Quatermain, al aceptar, un poco a regañadientes y por que sus circunstancias le obligan, la oferta del gobierno de los EE.UU, para ayudar a una arqueóloga a encontrar el poderoso objeto llamado el corazón de Atlantis. El problema, ya no es únicamente donde está, sino que hay más gente interesada en encontrarlo, por ejemplo los nazis y tambien el ejército rojo, por lo que el asunto va a ser de todo menos fácil.

    En cuanto a mecánicas nos encontramos ante un FPS puro, resolución de puzzles más o menos fáciles (los hay que se las traen) y exploración. Este último rasgo muy importante, puesto que el desarrollo de nuestras habilidades depende de los tesoros que encontremos, Tenemos una cantidad de armas de la época en la que está ambientado el juego, interesante. Herramientas como la linerna, importante tanto en la exploración como en el combate y la brújula que nos ayudará a encontrar los tesoros.

    El juego tiene fallos, no es perfecto, eso es indiscutible, tiene poca variedad de enemigos, algunos glitches gráficos sin importancia pero que afean el resultado final y a veces puede sentirse un poco impreciso, pero nada de esto es tan grave como otros tantos errores que traen de serie algunos triple A y no se les castiga de forma tan severa por ello. Deadfall Adventures es un juego que a día de hoy, pese a que se le ven las costuras del ya viejo Unreal Engine 3, se disfruta enormemente en pc si te molan este tipo de FPS    … Expand

    Deadfall Adventures miał aspiracje stać się prawdziwym hitem i gdyby tylko twórcy bardziej się postarali, to mógłby wywołać nie lada zamieszanie w branży. Rozgrywka jest wciągająca i naprawdę sprawia przyjemność. Szkoda jednak, że nie dopracowano bardziej fabuły, zagadek oraz ogólnego zarysu postaci (w tym dialogów) - taki tytuł aż się prosi o dobre wykonanie takich elementów. Gra składaDeadfall Adventures miał aspiracje stać się prawdziwym hitem i gdyby tylko twórcy bardziej się postarali, to mógłby wywołać nie lada zamieszanie w branży. Rozgrywka jest wciągająca i naprawdę sprawia przyjemność. Gra składa się z 11 etapów, których przejście na normalnym poziomie trudności zajęło mi nieco ponad 7 godzin. Przyznam szczerze, że nie miałem w stosunku do Deadfall Adventures żadnych oczekiwań - okazało się jednak, że tytuł ten miło mnie zaskoczył. Nie jest to może kandydat do gry roku, definitywnie jest jednak wart spędzonego z nim czasu…

    Plusy:
    + poczuj się jak Indiana Jones :)
    + świątynie, grobowce i przygody!
    + różnorodność etapów (zwiedzimy kawał świata)
    + rozgrywka sprawia przyjemność
    + niezły klimat

    Minusy:
    – można było bardziej dopracować fabułę…
    – mimo wszystko nijakie postacie i dialogi
    – momentami słaba grafika
    – łatwe zagadki i mało wymagający przeciwnicy

    It has quite rough edges, but also some nostalgic charm. If only the developers had a bigger budget to sort out the technical flaws and improve the level design!
