It's amazing for a project created by three siblings from Spain and one artist. But it's a bit short and the cliffhanger at the end keeps you asking for more.

Dead Synchronicity is an impressively dark, grimy, and uncomfortable excursion into a horrible and oppressive future.

Surreal and unforgivingly sinister Adventure in a post-apocalyptic world that stumbles over the generic puzzle design.

Overall, Dead Synchronicity: Tomorrow Comes Today uses a great art style, creates great atmosphere and has complimentary music to create a dark and stylish game to liven up its point-and-click gameplay. However, the flow of the story is regularly broken up by puzzles that are equal parts confusing and seemingly without order that end up with the player spending far too much time trying to advance the story.

Dead Synchronicity: Tomorrow Comes Today is the type of game to give you nightmares, and not just because of that mangled title. Though that's probably part of it.

The gameplay mechanics and presentation values in Dead Synchronicity: Tomorrow Comes Today are solid, but the puzzles will frustrate a segment of the audience. Worse yet, the end does not pay off the effort to get there.

Intriguing, dark and engaging atmosphere keeps players interested, but the story ends with a disappointment.

On the one hand the art style, atmosphere, and interesting story premise are things that are worth experiencing. However the pacing of the puzzles can be frustrating, especially when what would appear to be the obvious solutions don’t work in a world where regular logic usually applies.

Those good first impressions eventually fall to the wayside however, as the game abandons plot threads on a dime and fails to create any form of logical progression in its puzzles. Which is a shame, because Dead Synchronicity has good ideas; they just don’t sync today.

The mysterious story kept me playing and the puzzles are - mostly - well implemented. For sure it is not an adventure that sacrifices Gameplay for the sake of the story. If you love traditional adventure games you'll probably not complain about that - if not you probably will. Completing this game will likely take around 6 hours, maybe 7 or so if you take your time.

There is a lot of dialog here, which is not uncommon for adventure games. Rushing it won't do you good. The more you listen the more you get drawn into this world. But keep in mind that this is only the first game. There will be sequels continuing this story. At the end you will learn a lot about the protagonist which from my point of view will probably give you at least some sort of accomplishment but it will lead to much bigger questions. No idea yet when the next game will be out but I'm looking forward to it.

Normally adventure games are kind of funny and suited with a huge amount of humor, but this one really gets into your bones - the music, the art style, the story. Everything makes perfectly sense and you feel like you're a part of this post apocalyptical atmosphere.

Dead Synchonicity shows a hard and brutal truth, a possibility, how the world could be if everyone's looking out for himself. There are many games with similar topics in games, but Dead Synchro somehow manages it to get the player's attention immediately and conveys a exciting and fascinating plot which will make your pulse go faster! Fictiorama succeeded in making a super classic point and click adventure.

    Enjoy!
