    [NO SPOILERS, ONE HUGE CHEAT] This game is worth playing if only to experience the most advanced weapons-crafting in all of gaming. The weapons parts can be combined in nearly infinite ways and specific parts work well with other parts, others not so well. There are bar graph indicators that should predict how fast or powerful a combination of parts will be but "fast" on one rifle frame is[NO SPOILERS, ONE HUGE CHEAT] This game is worth playing if only to experience the most advanced weapons-crafting in all of gaming. The weapons parts can be combined in nearly infinite ways and specific parts work well with other parts, others not so well. There are bar graph indicators that should predict how fast or powerful a combination of parts will be but "fast" on one rifle frame is different on another, even though the bar graph might be equal. So it falls in part to trial and error but that's not bad, it keeps your interest in trying newer and innovative combinations to achieve the ultimate rate of fire, or damage or capacity.

    Also of interest is that you must collect enough different resources, different metals and such, before you can begin crafting advanced weapons. By default the player will find one scavenger bot (you will be wise to search carefully for the other hidden two) that scavenge resources along with you. These scavenger bots are the only way to collect Ration Seals, a perk put in the game by the publisher that can be redeemed for the most powerful and exclusive weapons parts. These most powerful weapons parts result only by deploying your bots to scavenge as often as possible.

    And here's the cheat: the game is set up to condition you to only release the bots when you hear a sound cue signaling an area that is presumed to be rich in resources. But the fact is that the assignment of Ration Seals to any and every given area is completely random so it is safe and in fact wise to re-deploy your bots within minutes of their return from a scavenge mission, without regard to the sound cue. Only in this way will you receive a surplus of Ration Seals great enough to afford the most powerful weapons.

    IMO as a PC game, this installment is better than DS1 but not as good as DS2. The DS1 voice acting was rather wooden and, of course the protagonist never spoke at all. It was a poor port; even with the correct vSync settings the mouse still lagged noticeably.

    Here in DS3, they introduced some new and formidable necromorphs but chose a love triangle as the central sub-plot and took the whole feel of the game into the realm of Michael Bay/Mission Impossible, a realm that often made my eyes roll but nothing is perfect . IMO DS2 was the best overall but this one is still a lot of fun and well worth playing, especially these days when it is priced under $10.

    Although many people are complaining about DS3, but I wouldn't agree on this is not a great DS game. I know this game had turned out to be a more action pack shooter rather than the good old horror DS that it used to be, but at least the storyline and the gameplay are great. To be honest, with the new weapon crafting feature, I enjoyed **** of fun every time I crafted a new weapon andAlthough many people are complaining about DS3, but I wouldn't agree on this is not a great DS game. I know this game had turned out to be a more action pack shooter rather than the good old horror DS that it used to be, but at least the storyline and the gameplay are great. To be honest, with the new weapon crafting feature, I enjoyed **** of fun every time I crafted a new weapon and tried it on enemies.     Крафт оружия Графика для 2013 вполне годная. Минусы: Вторая половина игр, проходящая на самой планете - очень душная. При том что я люблю снег и зимние локации в играх. Имбаланс оружия, большая часть модулей бесполезна, в самом начале нашел удобные для себя пушки и прошел ими игру. Хотелось бы побольше новых, уникальных врагов. Сюжетом и концовкой

    This is not a survival-horror anymore, to be fair, only the first one was truly a survival-HORROR, to be fair it's very hard to rival a "deserted" starship setting and the unknown factor it's very hard to repeat in the sequel and yet, DS2 is great in it's own merits, mostly because it brought a deeper look into the lore of Dead Space franchise. And it's the same with Dead Space 3, this game is most an action game than it's a horror game, it does have good moments, but most of the time it's just a survival-action game, and it's not necessarily a bad thing, because this game bring a even deeper look into the lore (which is amazing btw) and also a ton of new mechanics, like the weapon creator, that is great. Haters gonna hate, but I think this is a good game and it's a shame that EA has closed down Visceral Games. In time, the first two game had movies that helped set the background before the games, it's a shame EA didn't do that for DS3. Expand

    Dead Space 3 doesn't get involved with horror category like its first 2 prequels but it's definitely a huge potential for the next game in this series (in case EA released Dead Space 4 as it's been a while since they carried out the third one). But it's unreasonable to have the game started the same old ways as the other 2 and lasted its boredom for 8 hours fighting the same old necromorphs. From the middle to the end, there are changes in the game flow that actually rescue the whole game from causing players feel off the hook. The DLC has made itself an enormous failure for revealing the true enemy's identity of the Earth who had been designed to look like a serial killer (or at least a butcher), which mostly makes no sense to what the whole series have tried to established for the existence of this franchise. Fortunately, the last rise in the plot flow at the end of this DLC lifts up the expects of most players for the next franchise.
    Game-play and characters designs are quite fascinating. EA did make a huge innovation in the weapons upgrade bench, which opens variety of paths for players of completing missions. What nearly kills the game-play is its game mechanics. Sometimes it's difficult to lift or move objects with the telekinesis module and enemies' AI is quite low in some cases of spaces with many open doors.
    The biggest development EA has applied on to this franchise is music. The SFX and theme are totally stunning, lively and thrilling and what EA does the best is putting them at the right moments in the story flow.
    I gave it 8 since this franchise is as awesome as the first 2. The end of the game definitely opens a new future awaiting ahead of this block-buster series.

    this was a fun disappointment. fun as in the action was entertaining you and the (optional) partner you get in this journey. disappointing as in the storyline and lack of "horror" thats watered down with action. it tries hard to be both but cant be a jack of all trades. boss fights are interesting, really cool suit and weapon upgrades.     It's not a terror/horror game anymore, it's a shooting and action game because it was totally predictable and doesn't give more scares like the first or second game. GRAPHICS ARE BEAUTIFUL and great animations

    Dead Space 3 is a hard game to review, since I enjoyed it but at the same time raged at it's lost potential and ridiculous design decisions. There's some good things it retains and improves from the rest of the series, but there's also so many things that should NOT have been done that drags the game down to being the worst of the series by far.

    Dead Space 3 has the great production values, general creepiness and atmosphere it's become known for, but what it fails to recapture from prior games is the actual fear. Encounters feel as if theyv'e been designed to just give the player a shooting gallery, not scares, and it doesn't even do that very well in most cases. This wouldn't be so bad if it also retained the feeling that you're always short of resources, but you never really are, they are plentiful even on harder difficulties, especially once you make it a little ways into the game. You also seem to be able to go through old areas after loading a game and find new items from places you've already looted, which is ridiculous.

    The addition of "human enemies" also feels very tacked on, like some suit at EA figured it should be more like Call of Duty. Story-wise it's plausible, but feels totally out of place and it's not done well. The ability to crouch and roll just seems wrong for a veteran of the series and both are useless. The human enemies are also dumber than a sack of hammers in terms of their AI.

    Speaking of EA suits (i.e. people that are dumber than a sack of hammers), another major issue is DLC and micro-transactions being thrown in the player's face while IN THE GAME. The awesome real-time interfaces Dead Space uses should not have be marred with constant reminders that you can be nickel and dimed for content that should have been included in the inital price. This is just tacky, and a huge immersion breaker.

    The good things are that the controls are as tight as ever, from general movement, shooting and zero G. The combat itself is just as fun as it always was and of course visually it's the most stunning of the series. The games "weapon crafting" system, is for the most part well done, with lots of combinations of all your favorites. I don't find the addition of co-op to be a bad thing since it's already going with direction they took with the encounter design. The game is a fairly good length, but I really don't like when a game includes "co-op only" content. I didn't find QTE style events too annoying, they were done fairly well. I found the story to be decent and the all the extra audio and text logs to be worth the time to listen to and read.

    All-in-all it's a step back for the series, but it's still worth your time if you can buy it on sale. Hopefully we'll get a sequel or reboot in the future that takes the game back to its root and not more towards the mindless recycled shooter genre.

    I thought this game would be awful. Let's get the bad out of the way. It's not Dead Space and it isn't scary. While the gameplay itself works fine for a port (no wonky mouse issues, or poor performance), the menu is literally broken. I have no mouse cursor on the menu overlay. Sometimes there is a phantom mouse and I can still select things blindly, but sometimes there is no mouseI thought this game would be awful. Let's get the bad out of the way. Utilizing the arrow keys doesn't work either. For some reason, when this happens, you can hammer Enter repeatedly and eventually get a response from the game. Very strange. Other people have mentioned this, as well as being bounced to desktop while game is running. I think both are the same issue and have to do with the game losing focus in the menu screens.

    Technical issues aside, the lack of the scares you WANT from a Dead Space title, the story is also very stupid. Toss in micro-pay and Origin and now you have all the elements necessary to create an incredibly steaming pile of $%^&.

    Now, I won't deny that it is the sum of all those terrible things...but damn if it doesn't still manage to be fun. Game has a lot of atmosphere, they have really nailed that over the shoulder perspective, and the combat is streamlined and perfected. Game looks incredible. I don't blame the developer for not supporting DX11...as it doesn't really bring that much to the table anyway.

    I think what I would recommend to most people, is to wait 6-9 months until it drops to 19.99 or 29.99. If you want another Dead Space, but thought Dead Space 2 jumped the shark: Don't get this game. If you are looking to drop your dime on a horror title, this isn't the one.

    I know I am making this game sound really bad...and it genuinely is...but I'm just trying to be honest. And if I have to be honest, it still manages to be a really fun ride. Maybe this game has some sort of subliminal messaging going on. Is that what's up with the menu screen? Jokes aside, like a glossy sub-B movie that is entirely aware that it's a C or a D but pulls out all the stops in the presentation and the presentation is pretty exceptional.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I love the Dead Space franchise. The first game was something special. I enjoy films like Aliens, Event Horizon, The Thing etc. It was nice to see a developer be so inspired by those films and atmospheres. The second one took it a step further and was brilliant. The first game had horror. The second game had terror. The third game? Well lets just say its action. I understand how a developer can't do more of the same but why the hell can't they at least PUSH the envelope and make the action meld with more horror? A good example is the Awakened DLC. Now the enemies in that game were horror! throw those in 3 with the bloody necromorphs from the first two games and I really wouldn't have had any problem. The problem though is adding the crouching, shooting gallery mechanics and bum rushing enemies that block corridors. It really broke the game for me. Not to mention lack of exploration this time round. Sure we go through many environments but its mostly backtracking. I liked the space parts the most but the rest of it was pretty lacking. I was also annoyed *SPOILER* that you don't get to go to the moon..instead you fight the moon. Really? now whole moons are bosses? that was the stupidest part of the whole game. What is this Mass Effect 3? Death Star? The boss just looked laughable though I liked the chaotic environment. Story was weak this time round..instead of Isaac worrying about his missing girlfriend we got Carver who has to be the worst companion character right next to Aliens: Colonial Marines companion. Guy has tourettes. I didn't even bother with the co-op. Finally the last gripe was the weapon crafting system. I utterly hated this. I miss the old weapons. Should have kept those and just allowed upgrades instead of crafting new weapons. Don't see the point? other then giving us some hard work to do. Breaks up the pacing and obviously was put in to keep the player from noticing the short levels. On the plus side some of the enemy designs were great (The DLC Awakened being the best), graphics are always top notch, sound design was good (though I noticed on headphones it veers towards the left side...a bug?) ----------If your a fan of the series I recommend it and the DLC Awakened is brilliant up until the silly ending. I don't really know where else they can take it. I am so tired of those monsters attack the Earth plot lines.. 7/10 Expand

    I'll just say, that at this precise moment it really deserves the 7 it's getting. Hell, it can probably go higher after a few patches. Time will tell. In short, the graphics are more than satisfactory, the writing and voice acting is excellent and immersive, the story CAN get a little cliche and vague at times, but it seems as a logical evolution of previous installments. Now one thingI'll just say, that at this precise moment it really deserves the 7 it's getting. Hell, it can probably go higher after a few patches. Time will tell. In short, the graphics are more than satisfactory, the writing and voice acting is excellent and immersive, the story CAN get a little cliche and vague at times, but it seems as a logical evolution of previous installments. Now one thing that everyone is mentioning is the dynamic of the gameplay. It's a tad more faster paced than the DS1 2, the enemies are more aggressive and faster, while the ammo is scarce at best (though that could be a matter of Difficulty). The overall atmosphere feels the same, the gritty, bloodstained corridors, the unidentifiable noises and the ever-familiar vent-scares are there, though how well they actually work with the more aggressive gameplay, that is up to each individual gamer's taste. If i had one thing to complain about, it would be the feeling of playing an unfinished product. There are some bits here and there, that feel very unpolished and even laughable, which, for me, ruins the whole experience. In summation: It's not the shiniest addition to a franchise, but it's a very good game in its own right. Expand

    I think this is probably the best Dead Space game in the series. I liked the story line, the graphics, and the challenging aspects of the game. Yet, I can understand the negative reviews, because I have had similar problems with all of the Dead Space games: e.g, you can't walk fast or jump, the weapons are especially wimpy, the lags in the action, etc. Still, I recommend this game highly.

Some additions/changes aren't as welcome, however: too much focus on combat, too many enemies that push you into a corner and f**k up the camera, save state problems (no save points - just autosave) and a stupid cliffhangerI enjoyed the game, and it kept me coming back, playing hours on end until I'd finished. That said, it's more of the same. Loved DS and DS2, so can't *really* go wrong. Right as the game begins, it's made pretty clear that Dead Space 3 is no longer even attempting to be a horror game as you're thrown into the action and start off by doing a bit of cover-based shooting against enemy soldiers. After this thankfully brief shooting gallery, DS3 remembers it's roots and soon enough you're blowing limbs off necromorphs left and right.

    The story isn't much to write home about: after a run-in with the fanatical Unitology cult, Isaac must travel with a small group of cardboard-cut-out stereotypes to the planet of Tau Volantis and stop the necromorph infestation one and for all. The plot unfolds in a fairly predicable manner, with several plot twists that range from cliché to nonsensical. Some effort is made to introduce character conflict between Isaac and some of his fellow crew members, but there's very little reason given for us to actually care about the characters aside from some generic dialogue. As in previous games, DS3 lacks a convincing antagonist; opting instead to just make the usual psychopath/religious fanatic who's evil for no better reason than “the plot demands it”. The voice acting is above-average for a video game, but is nothing special.

    The overall gameplay is fairly similar to previous Dead Space games: mainly involving over-the-shoulder shooting as well as some light RPG progression. The RPG elements take the form of various upgrades you can give your suit although they're all bog-standard: better armour, better health, more air etc. The one major new addition to the combat is weapon crafting, which allows the player to scavenge various parts from the levels and use then to create and buy weaponry, rather than the credits system from previous games. The system works well and allows plenty room for experimentation, although some combinations can totally break the game: I found using a hovering saw with an under-slung explosive charge launcher could pulverise just about anything the game could throw at me. Overall though, the crafting has an appropriate survival feel to it and is much more involving than DS1 and 2's standard shop system. However, all this is negated by a universal-ammo system: previous games would often force you to adapt to weapons you weren't necessarily comfortable with by limiting ammo for your other weapons, making for a more intense experience. Dead Space 3 on the other hand uses generic "ammo clips" that were so ubiquitous that I never even came close to running out of ammo, ultimately de-fanging what little tension the game initially has. From a technical perspective, Dead Space 3 is absolutely top-notch. The sounds design remains some of the finest in modern triple-A gaming and the grimy visuals effectively paint a bleak, almost post-apocalyptic dystopian future, low texture quality notwithstanding.

    Ultimately, as a third-person shooter, Dead Space 3 succeeds admirably but as a horror game it barely conjures up even a few tense moments. As a thought-provoking story, it's down there with a generic cinema blockbuster.

    But back to what this game was supposed to be, it was supposed to be a sci-fi survivor horror game, the horror is largely missing due to predictability. If you have played Dead Space 1 and/or 2 you pretty much know when it is going to get busy, there are a few moments but they are far and few between. There is more of "aaaugh not this again..." rather than the "f%&k this s/&t AAAAAAGR" followed by what you think is a minor heart attact you so enjoyed from DS 1 2.

    The survival element is somewhat gone too, in D 1 2 resource managment was key (on normal and up difficulty) you cringed every time you had to spend a medkit, or when your inventory was already full and you had to drop something, often running back to the suit station to deposit something in the safe. But now, resources are still somewhat scarce, (playthrough on hard difficulty) but you have in-game purchases (refered to as mirco-transactions by some) and you can actually by resources to make medkits and ammo for real money ?!?.

    Now I know in-game purchases is a thing that will stay, and I would have no issue if you could only buy, let say guns and suits, or even gun parts and suits. But part of the survival aspect I so loved was that..."yikes I only have 5 shots left with my line gun" feeling. No you do not have to use in-game purchases, but the fact that you know that it is there removed some of that hoooly crap feeling.

    Positive things: 1) Gone is specialized ammunition, there is only one ammo type for all guns.
    2) Weapons crafting is a good thing, only carry two weapons.. but they can have 2 guns in one
    (my favorite was linegun with a shutgun under it)

    Negative:

    1) Suits are now merely cosmetic, no modifiers or increased inventory space. (All upgrades are now contained in the RIG, but inventory is not one of them)
    2) Somewhat predictable storyline, not always, but yeah.
    3) Enemies are the same, no new editions 'cept for you know, bosses.
    4) Keymapping and "minigames" (hacking doors and such) are clealy designed for consoles. But it is not that bad, just a pet peeve of mine.

    This is a good trilogy. I'm saying, that these three games has good storyline, game play and they are great overall. They lure you in with small hallways, dark corridors and fearsome enemies. The games are not quite different from each other, but they have small changes. Dead Space 3 had "changed" the most. It's a silly to say, that this game is bad, because it focuses more on the action. However, there are let downs. The bosses aren't that challenging, if you even encounter them, because there aren't that many, compared to the other games in the series. The storyline is good in my opinion, and the ending is great, but it's still a bit cliché. But, you can't expect more, because it's the third game. You can always improve the game in a series, but there is a problem with it. The problem is, that the fans will take EVERY slight change about the game and make a big fuss about it. People say, that this game is bad, because EA created it and they created it to get more money. Of course, making a third of a fourth game is kinda money making, but they didn't make this THAT bad, as people say. It feels like it's really trying to grow up to the other games, but it can't reach that point, when you can say, that this game is unique in the series.

    Overall, the game has it's ups and downs, but if you're really looking for a good TPS, which has a good storyline and a little dark tone to it, this game is for you, but consider to wait for a price drop.

Alle neuen Ideen beginnen stark und plätschern dann auf Sparflamme und uninspiriert vor sich hin. Dabei fängt es doch so grandios an nur um im Actionbrei zu versumpfen. Echter Horror kommt auch nur selten auf, dafür gibt es einfach zu viel Munition und Lebensenergiepacks. Dead Space steckt in einer Sackgasse und so langsam befürchte ich, dass der Entwickler nur einen One Hit Wonder Titel irgendwie frisch halten möchte. Auf der anderen Seite ging das Gerücht um, dass der Publisher EA die Produktion des Titels zugunsten eines richtigen Shooters stoppen wollte. Vielleicht wurden die Entwickler so zum einlenken “überredet”. Man weiss es nicht. Mal sehen wie die Mädels und Jungs den dritten Teil der “Army of Two” Reihe umsetzen werden… ich habe ein wenig Angst davor. Expand

    What can I say about Dead Space 3 is that I was not wowed by this game the first, and second Dead Space are the best. the problem with Dead Space 3 is that it wasn't scary anymore. The PC graphics is just a copy and paste form the consoles. when you turn down the graphics settings to medium and low there is no difference. the game play is still the same, but added two new things such as cover and roll. the cover system is useless in the game you hardly use it and the roll is useless as well, it doesn't add any new things by using them. The story is still good and long, which I really liked in Dead Space 3. A new thing they add is customizing your guns. They got rid of using nodes and added things you have to find to upgrade and mod your weapon which was really fun. The only problem with using the bench is that it doesn't show you how to use it that well, but later on the game you will get comfortable and know how to use the bench and make upgrades and mod to your weapon. If you're a big fan of Dead Space 3 play it if you are new to Dead Space 3 buy the first two games then look at some videos on Dead Space 3. Expand

    I am not a big fan of first-person shooters, but liked first two games a lot, because of sci-fi horror setting. This one lost considerably in that area, becoming more like regular action game. Story line is predictable and somewhat disappointing. Save system is THE worst I ever seen in a game. Other than that, the game is well-made and beautiful to look at.     Its a good game for people that like shooters. I liked the shooter element but not so much that it has turned in to a shooter but running around having the feeling that you are doing the same thing over and over again gives the game a boring and actually irritating feeling the story is bad i was so pissed when they started to explain things from past games it made me not take the gamesIts a good game for people that like shooters. The once grown up game DS1 and DS2 has turned in to a childish game. Yes there where still shock elements but they where always based on the same principal with the exception of the outside snow part.

    Anyway the only thing that i did enjoy was that all the crap that annoyed me was wrapped in to a awesome graphical and sound effects. That something i have to say very impressive!

    I liked to play the game however its another disappointment to see how a game starts off awesome and then gets taken over and destroyed.

    My message to the producers please stay true to yourself and resist the temptation of mainstream!!!

    Another let down! What a "genius" decision was to make it co-op, thankfully it's not a requirement! But never the less the horror element is ruined, story is really bad. The best thing this game has weapon crafting! Thumbs down to EA for microtransaction!

    My first ever proper look into playing the Dead Space franchise, I liked it.
    - Yes, if you were a fan of the previous Dead Spaces, you would most likely hate and dislike this new inclusion in the series.
    - It lacks horror, it has obvious jump scares and does almost nothing which would give you the same creepiness and it just doesn't have the same as previous Dead Spaces to say the least

    - It is very obvious that they either took or were forced by EA to take the safe side and choose the one which would give them the most profit which is an action shooter game (as if we didn't have enough of them), and in this genre I would say they did fine, they had weapon customization, engaging enemies, a couple pleasant boss fights.
    - They also did coop in my opinion awesomely. You weren't forced to restart a mission just because someone wanted to play with you, the drop in and drop out system at the checkpoints were very convenient.
    - This game is an action/shooter rather than the previous in the past horror/survival/shooter sort of genre
    - 7/10 because I have not played the previous and see this as an action shooter with horror elements and it seems like it did fine in the genre

    Grapics are good, framerate is perfect at 1920x1080 high with HD6850. Sounds are perfect. Gameplay is the common Dead Space gameplay, i love it. Coop is fun, but no voice button, no chat? Cammon.... Main plot is okay, but you save the world again, opps... no you dont? DLC, Story continues... Never ending story... nevermind, i love this game

    I was torn for a while on what to rate this because, while I thought it was fairly enjoyable, I didn't think it was really a great game overall.

    For one, it feels like every other action game you've ever played before. Admittedly, I played on the easiest setting because I'm too old to feel frustrated (and don't really need a "challenge" to enjoy a game), but even on the easiest settings

Admittedly, I played on the easiest setting because I'm too old to feel frustrated (and don't really need a "challenge" to enjoy a game), but even on the easiest settings there were some pretty annoying baddies. It sorta felt like I was in Dawn of the Dead, haha. On that note, I wasn't a fan of how the enemies were placed or were popped out. I can't think of any moment that made me jump, and being attacked by an enemy that spawned a mile back is somewhat obnoxious.

    In any case, I really, really enjoyed the crafting portion. They definitely should have fleshed it out a bit more and given the player a little bit more information (for example, having actual numbers for each stat rather than just a meter), but otherwise, I had a lot of fun mixing and matching and crafting weapons that I liked. (I was a little sad, though, that the regular cutter wasn't as awesome as it was in the first DS.) And, the crafting system felt intuitive, for the most part, and seemed very much to fall in line with Isaac's character.

    Along those lines, I felt the story was a bit... meh. It started strong, but quickly fell into generic dialogue and plot lines. The ending was a small surprise, but only in what the end boss actually is. (I won't actually spoil it for you if you haven't played it.) The voice acting was good, though, I just felt their lines were a bit weak, which then translated into somewhat weak characters, almost like it was written with the idea of over-acting in mind.

    I also enjoyed the various locales. I'm a huge fan of areas that make you feel the vastness of the scenery, in this case outer space and the ice planet. To be sure, the graphics and detail were really enjoyable. I would have liked to have spent more time on the planet since the other two were primarily in space (you're in space for at least 30-40% of the start of the game), but that's more of a personal preference and really didn't affect how much I enjoyed the game.

    In any case, all that being said, I am a fan of running around and shooting space zombies. That never really gets old. And, to loop it back in with my initial statement, I am far more an action-horror guy than a survival-horror guy, so although I enjoyed DS3 more than DS1, DS1 was an overall better game in its category.

    It's taken me two attempts but having finally seen the game through to completion, I have to say that it wasn't the destination but the journey that mattered.

    Dead Space 3 definitely takes a more action oriented beginning before slipping back into it's familiar horror setting before melding back into action as you race the unitologists to the final standoff. The storyline was fine,

    The storyline was fine, but certainly became a little weaker towards the ending.The game also offers optional side objectives and co-op objectives which can offer more insight into the back story and some extra supplies and upgrades. The crafting menu to me made the game a little easier since you could just make ammo and med packs opposed to frightfully walking to corridors wondering when you will come across another.

    Overall despite losing my progress and kicking me back a few chapters at one point, I really enjoyed my experience with Dead Space 3 and look forward to seeing where the universe is heading next.
